Intended on changing the flight one week in advance. (BTW PHONE REPS DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH... INDIAN $#*!S.AND ALSO LIED ABOUT HAVING A SPANISH REPRESENTATIVE) After calling for spanish many times I click '5', I wait for 40mins. - 1 hr, then rep answers in english, I ask for spanish and they hang up! WHAT BALLS!
Finally called in english to change the date and they take my card number. The day after they email me for address, then the next day: phone number, the next day: Drivers License photocopy, then after doing everything they asked of me, they still didn't charge the card for the date change. Well they waited and replied that They hadn't received any photocopy and now that the ticket date has passed it will cost $1200, 3 times more than previous. I was stranded in Argentina. This company is a professional scam artists that will suck the money out from your pocket and nothing you can do about it. Negative stars, for your own good, stay away.
Unpleasant experience.
First, I got the ticket for one price, received two emails (conformation and "e-ticket) with that price shown as total, but then my credit card was charged for a larger amount.
Furthermore, the "e-ticket" email with "itinerary" had no itinerary or any information about the flight other than the flight number.
I had to call the Faregeek to get it all sorted out. First they said that when I bought the ticket on their site it was one price, but when they purchased my ticket from airline, the price changed. Never heard anything more ridiculous than that. This is not my first time buying tickets online, and the price you see as total is the price you pay. At least they refunded me the difference. Second, only after calling them and requesting my itinerary they sent me an email containing my e-ticket information.
Hopefully everything will go fine after this and I do get on my flight.
Bad experience. Never again using FareGeek
I needed customer care help for the first few times I booked my online tickets. I was getting the procedures wrong and my internet was fluctuating. The young man that addressed my call, helped me both the times and I could get my tickets done. Lovely customer care professionals!
