Buy a movie ticket and miss the show! Because life happens and you don't give refunds! Bull$#*!! Scum of the $#*!ing earth! Enjoy my money you towel head speaking $#*!s! Don't out source your calls to India! $#*!! You cum guzzling gooches need to update your refund I just want to see the movies! Dig a hole die in the hole! Hope your family steps on an IED as you walk down the $#*!ing road
I tried to use one of their gift cards and got nowhere. The card is useless. They need reporting to the F. T. A. & Consumer Protection.
Quick to take your money, horrible customer service! Computerized canned responses to stupid policies. No ability to speak to a supervisor. Read fine print and order tickets any other way possible! Lost a potential customer and will tell my friends to do the same.
Have tried several times using several different computers and browsers and each time I click on any Movie Tavern showtime, I am placed on the Fandango home page. There are tickets available for the showtimes that I've clicked on.
Poor choice for Movie Tavern to revert to a known problematic 3rd party to process their tickets.
Ticket purchases for all other theaters work as expected.
Horrible, horrible customer service. Their policies suck and so do their customer service reps
What a terrible company. Worst customer service. Refunds or exchange is a total lie. You will never be able to get hold of a customer service agent. Don't waste your time and money
The customer service department consists of someone saying, I'm sorry but we can't help you. It doesn't matter that their Web site and conformation email advertised the wrong movie time. It doesn't matter that the movie started while waiting for costumer service. There was no assistance of any kind provided and I would urge anyone to utilize a different service.
My daughter purchased a ticket on line. On the way to the movies, she experienced car problems and missed the movie. The next morning she left for a week long ROTC training. Upon her return we went to the theater to get a refund or another ticket. They told her she needed to call Fandango because she purchased the ticket online. In the lobby we called Fandango. My daughter was told she would not be getting a refund NOR a replacement ticket. My dauggter asked if it was their practice to take money from people. Then My daughter asked for a supervisor. Was put on hold... a manager never came. We called back and asked for a supervisor this time her call was sent to a voicemail. We left a detailed message describing the problem and our contact information. Its been two weeks and nobody from Fandango has even given us a courtesy call. This is crap to me. Extremely poor customer service and take money from customers. Not a good way to do business. I am just shocked, hurt and disappointed!
$#*! you and your customer service. Everyone thinks that Comcast is the devil, but it is indeed your company that fought god and lost. You are all working for the morning star, and most likely drink the blood of babies and club seals for the hell of it. Pun intended. I would rather stub my toe on an end table in the middle of the night without the lights on than deal with your $#*!ty company and service. When I die and eventually end up in hell, I will assume that there will be movie theaters, and the only way to get tickets will be to speak directly to your employees. Gilbert Grape would think that you and your employees have issues that need to be resolved.
Do not use fandango! They change the theater selected just before purchasing the tickets. I realized this just 2 minutes after purchasing my tickets through fandango while at the kiosk of the theater I tried to purchase the tickets for. I called the theater the tickets were purchased at to cancel and left a message last night. I got a call from the theater this morning and they said I needed to talk to fandango. Fandango said because I didn't call them and called the theater instead, I couldn't get a refund or credits for another showing, they are keeping my money even though I have a recorded message stating that I wanted to cancel my tickets prior to the show. That was my first experience with fandango and will be my last. I will never use their site again and I will not recommend fandango to anyone. Movietickets.com is the way to go.
Website sucks and isn't clear on what theater you are going to get. Be very careful. Went for an Ultrascreen today and paid for regular seating after i chose the Ultrascreen date and time. Learned the hard way and was not pleased with the outcome from both this company and Marcus Theaters. I am writing a 1 star review, because you can't give a 0
I made a phone call to #FandangoNow some time ago about a credit that expired four months prematurely without any warning or email. I called customer service and they told me they would issue me a free rental. They did not keep their word and I would not do business with them in the future. I cannot condone a company that does not do what they promise to do.
Talked to manager to return money or exchange. She started yelling at me saying it's my fault I was late
Ordered tickets for the wrong day instead of the next day, but because of the time I ordered it was the time I purchased the movie like 3 minutes before it started and when I got in touched with customer service 20 mins after the movie started I could not get a refund or credited... HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!... Not to mention the convenience fee I had to pay! Never again will you have my business...
I have only used Fandango once, and I will NEVER use Fandango again! I bought tickets from them for the earliest showing on a Saturday not realizing that I purchased them at the wrong theater. I called them right away (which finding their telephone number on a mobile app was next to impossible) and by the time I was able to talk to a representative it was already after the show time (like i said it was the first showing of the day) They offered me nothing. No gift card, no exchange, no refund. Basically they took $40.00 from me for a movie I wasnt seeing because I bought them at the wrong theater. Worry free tickets is a lie in my opinion. Fandango is a rip off. When a company offers you NOTHING to make the situation right thatis not a company, thats a thief. I will never be using Fandango again, and please understand I will share this story again when causally talking with friends about going to the movies.
Could not help me resolve my issue and was denied my refund after being told I was to call back to receive it. Best advice is to just buy tickets at theatre and save yourself the trouble of dealing with rude customer service reps
The site isn't designed to service users, but rather present paid content from their advertisers. This what happens when advertisers are a priority over those who the site is designed for.
I purchased tickets online. The kiosk at the theater gave me a message it was unable to retrieve the tickets. I was able to purchase tickets from the electronic kiosk fro the movie. I contacted Fandango expecting it should be easy to resolve. All I've gotten from Fandango customer service was: a request to join Fandango, statement that they are unable to refund the money they took and failed to provide the purchased product, requests for more information (supplied), and emails that if they have no further contact from me in 48 hours they will consider the issue resolved, and thanks for the business.
I was given two packs of three fandango gift cards. Two of them didn't even work, which doesn't make sense because other cards in the pack worked. I also purchase two tickets to "The Jungle Book" and I was never sent an email conformation or receipt of the purchase. I didn't figure this out until driving 30 minutes to the movie theater and it completely ruined my date. A couple days later I called Fandango's customer service department and the lady I talked to denied me a refund and couldn't have cared less about the terrible experience I had with Fandango.
Needless to say I am never going to use Fandango again and strongly suggest to use other means of purchasing tickets in advance or online.
I decided to accept a view of Star Wars for $4 on Roku. What a mistake it was! The registration service failed again and again to recognize my password. Then I asked for the usual email. First I got no answer. Then I took the problem to my iPhone. They sent me a email telling me that it had been more than 24 hours and I could not change my password! This was followed by two more emails. Then I could reenter my old password and it accepted as if it were new. Then I went to my Roku to watch the movie, only to get a window telling me that I was already viewing n another device, which I was not! Trying to talk to them is in vain. I have spent days trying to get my $4 and there is no way. They have absolutely no service and their computer programming is undependable. My advice: stay away from Fandango-Roku. No service of any kind whatsoever.
Two days later: I continued my efforts. I found an alleged customer service telephon. I called and a voice told me that there would be a 15 min waiting time. So I turned up my loudspeaker and waited reading. After some 20 minutes another voice came online and informed me that there were no customer representatives available but I could leave my name and lots of information and they would call me back. They never did, but THEY finally REFUNDED my $4! I personally find it unacceptable that a company which requests CC numbers as a precondition for service does not have a customer service of any kind to deal with errors and misunderstandings whatsoever and I will write to Congress and Consumers Reports. Fandango is a fully owned subsidiary of NBC and I do not understand that such a major company in the public eye tolerates this situation. Maybe it is because Fandango is making lots of money.
Answer: Shauna, try Ken's suggestion. After years as a loyal customer & "Fan" of Fandango, I had an issue that should have been easily resolved. When I finally spoke to a live CSR, the response & subsequent email were robotic & useless. I now buy gift cards from the theatres & save my $$ and time. Good luck to you, though!
Answer: You do Julie S., but if you purchase it within 2 hours of the movie you are out of luck and that's what I happened to do. I accidentally chose that same day rather than the next day (Saturday) and since I was within a 2 hour time frame they said too bad. Never will use them again that's for sure. It was an honest mistake and I explained that but the woman on the phone was very nasty.
Answer: I would try emailing them, unfortunately there is no one to call as far as I know. If that doesn't work why don't you try calling a theater near you that takes fandango, ask for a manager. Fandangos customer service is not good so I wish you luck. Thank you for your service, hope this helps Rose
Answer: I didn't wake up with a dead horse in my bed but all other evidence in dealing with Fandango indicate that they are mob-owned. Perhaps the mob has more morals. Maybe not mob-owned. What would be worse than the mob because that's likely who owns them. Difficult question to answer. Best not to do business with them anyway.
