Essentially this website is a third party who tries to act as if they are the company selling direct. Once you order a product if you need to return or replace an item they have very steep fees and charge you to pay for your own return shipping on top of a 15% restocking fee on all returns. Ordered over $500 worth of products and they would not work with me at all on exchanges or returns and told me that essentially since I ordered it through the website there's nothing they can do but if I called factory outlet store direct via phone they could have helped me on a return. Tried to speak to a supervisor could not get one to talk to me as they want to run everything through their front line 1 800 reps who are no help.
I purchased and recieved a "remanufactured" Garmin chartplotter GPS. I also purchased the "extended warranty".
The chartplotter is supposed to be preloaded with Garmin maps. It was not. They do not want to return as its over 30 days. And the extended warranty is a scam also.
This company is a scam all the way through.
Dont think they have any ties to the manufacturer as a "Factory Outlet". They do not.
I ordered a GPS device on Feb 7th. The shipping said "2-5 Business Days" for free. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, the item should have been delivered on Feb 14th (Valentine's Day). The item was delivered to FedEx on Feb 7th. That's when I found out the estimated delivery date was now Feb 18th. By the way, the 18th is now the 19th. I will never shop this site again. If I come up with any other issues, you can rest assured I will post those as well.
I now understand that this retailer does not respond to these posts. I wonder why?
I ordered a trolling motor that turned out to be the wrong size. Returned the item and was told that I would receive a full refund if the item was in the original packaging and not opened (which was the case). I have contacted them now for weeks via calls and emails. Some of the calls, I was put on hold for over an hour with no answer. Poor customer service!
Ordered a battery for my LG V10 cell. Received it promptly and it was the correct battery. Charged the battery, with phone turned off, for 18 hours. Lasted about 3 hours. Re-charged it for 24 hours and it lasted about 4 hours. Called and was told it must have been a bad battery and they would send me a new one at no cost. They did and I charged it for 24 hours and again, it lasted about 4, less than the old battery I was trying to replace. Wasn't worth calling again so I ate the 15 bucks and took the batteries to the re-cycling center. Try somewhere else.

Do NOT do business with Factory Outlet Shop! On Dec 6,2019 I ordered two pair of air pods with expected delivery in 5-10 business days. On Dec 17th I emailed to inquire on shipping status since I had received no communication from Factory Outlet Shop (however they immediately processed my payment on Dec 7th). I was told by Dan (via email) the customer happiness specialist that it was a quite busy period and I should rest assured they would try to fulfill my order before Christmas. On Dec 20th I emailed "Dan" and received an automated message that they were closed for the holidays and would return January 6,2020. I emailed to cancel my order since it would serve no purpose to get the products AFTER Christmas. Today is January 9,2020 and I've received no response, no products and no refund. This company is not reputable despite their alleged 10,000+ 5 star reviews!
I ordered a Map 64st with the expectation of receiving it in the 2-5 day delivery time stated on their website. This would have been in time to take on my hike through the Northern Rockies. After 2 days of not receiving a shipping comfimation, I contacted Garmin. I was told that the 64st was on a 5-10 business day backorder. I told them to cancel the order. 2 days later I get an email response from Garmin basically saying "it's to late to cancel, the order has shipped, here is the tracking number". After checking the tracking number I discovered that it had not been shipped at all. It was still sitting in the Garmin shipping department. Still they refused to cancel the order. A full day a half later FedEx finally got around to picking up the package and a date for delivery was shown. It would be 5 days late to take on my trip. I checked the tracking 2 days later and the delivery had been moved out a full week! Two days AFTER I came back from vacation! Now, I am getting the run around on the refund. If you have to buy a Garmin, spend the few extra $$ and buy from a reputable dealer. I'm pretty soured on you Garmin.
I payed $99 for Air pods and they never arrived! They stole my money and I never got a response from them.
I located and ordered from this site a matching Travel Pro luggage piece to my current set that was no longer being manufactured. At the time it was also available elsewhere. My order never arrived. I called and was told it was on backorder and would arrive in 10 days. I called again and was given a 5 day delivery projection after they tied to sell me another item. Next day I received notice that my order was being refunded - this was now 6 weeks after the initial order was placed. They never had my luggage piece which was still shown as available on the site. Meanwhile this item has disappeared from other sites that had it. I very much regret not reading the bad reviews before trying to purchase from this site. If you have any other options I highly recommend pursuing those instead of trusting a purchase from FactoryOutletStore.
Product ordered was not shipped within the 24hrs that was paid for. When emailed about this issue and asking for the extra shipping to be returned, I received an email in return saying my order was cancelled, which was not my wish. No communication to begin with informing me that my product was not shipping on time. Very unprofessional company. Be careful ordering from them
I made the mistake of buying here instead of Amazon Prime because of the "Same-Day shipping" motto. Not only did it NOT ship in a day, I ordered the same items from Amazon the next day, got the item, ordered more of the product from Amazon, and received THAT order before this one arrived. When I tried to return it, I had to call three times before I actually received the email with directions for returning. Be warned that you will pay for the shipping AND a restock fee. Eventually I DID get at least the partial refund credited to my account. Would not deal with this company again. :(
PURCHASED a battery for our grandsons laptop of Nov. 27th. He was coming to visit on Christmas. When he got here the week of Christmas we opened the battery to place in his laptop. The battery was missing a clip( so wouldnt stay in properly) And it also wouldnt charge. I contacted this company and asked if they had made an error in sending wrong one or if it was damaged during shipping( even tho no clip was found ever) AND ASKED IF COULD SEND SCREENSHOT. When they replied tbey sent an email stating RETURNS MUST BE MADE IN 30 DAYS AND IF ITS NOT IT WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU AT YOUR COST! I tried explaining all I had asked for at this point was information!( to make sure the issue waant that we ordered the wrong battery) AFTER STRINGING OUT THE EMAILS SO THE 30 DAYS MOST CERTAINLY WOULD PASS WE ENDED UP STUCK WITH THE GARBAGE BATTERY THEY SENT! HAD TO BUY FROM A REPUTALE COMPANY! WE MIGHT AS WELL OF JUST FLUSHED THE CASH. THIS COMPANY HAS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND IS DEFINETELY SCAMMING ITS CUSTOMERS. SO OUR MONEY WAS WASTED! ( WE ARE ELDERLY ON FIXED INCOME) I STRONGLY URGE CONSUMERS TO GO ELSEWHERE. THEY WILL MAKE SURE YOUR $ IS WASTED! IF COULD GIVE ZERO WOULD GIVE MINUS 5 AT LEAST!
Do not buy from this place! No customer service and no product ever delivered. No one will answer my emails. But they took my money immediately. Filing complaint with credit card company and Better Business Bureau. Scam!
Earlier this week, I placed an order for a GPS and paid an astronomical amount to have it sent via overnight mail as we needed it for our business ($36 to be exact). I placed the order by 4pm and received the email that it was received and was being processed. So, by 8pm I still didn't receive a tracking number so I decided to call and get a status. In talking to the rep, she stated that the item I ordered was on backorder; however, she could replace it with another unit for me. I was like cool, but, here is where the issue starts, she said, at first, I didn't make the overnight shipping for next day ordering time, I asked time did I need to place the order by and she said 7... WRONG, I ordered at 4pm, so, fine, give me back the difference in shipping, they wouldn't because now it would still be considered next day if I wanted it in 2 days because it was 8pm. Ok, whatever, just get me the GPS unit, Then, she is like, how do you want to pay for the difference... WHAT, difference? So, you are going to make me pay the difference to replace the unit that you are saying you have on a website which you don't? So, guess what I did... CANCEL! Customer Service is HORRIBLE! They offer items they don't have and then try to switch you to the other higher priced products.
I have absolutely nothing good to say about my experience with VTech Factory Outlet Store. We ordered a set of phones for my aging grandfather. We received an email asking us to call them because they had additional questions about our order. We called and I spoke with Joel. The billing address and shipping address on the order did not match. The shipping address was a PO Box. They refused to ship to a PO Box and demanded that it be shipped to the billing address. The billing address is an apartment that does not have the capacity to receive large packages. They asked for an additional address. We gave them another address. They requested the name, phone number, and how this person was related. Throughout our conversation, I was placed on hold probably 10 times so he can relay the information that I provided to the "concerns department." At one point I asked to speak to the concerns department, specifically. Joel refused to transfer my call and told me, "They will just ask you for the same information." I felt very uncomfortable with the amount of personal information they were asking for (e.g. Names, phone numbers, emails, relation to me, etc.), so I asked to speak to a supervisor. Joel refused to transfer me to a supervisor. At this point, we requested to cancel our order. I was placed on hold again. Joel came back and said that our order has been cancelled. I confirmed that it would be a full refund. He said yes, but was unable to give me a confirmation number confirming my refund. He said we should receive it via email within 24 hours. I have NEVER worked with a company that refused to provide a confirmation number prior to hanging up the phone. We have yet to receive the confirmation email and the charge of $194.17 has been posted to our account. We called the customer service line and asked to speak to a supervisor. We had to be VERY firm with the customer service person to be transferred. Once on the phone with the supervisor, the phone "disconnected." We have yet to get a hold of anybody regarding the order. We are now working with the bank to dispute the transaction. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE!
This company is deceptive and has very pore custpmer service. They advertise 30 day returns. What they don't tell you there is a 15 percent of the product price for restockong - absolute reripoff! If the dtop the price on a product you just bought days before, they won't honor the new price. Customer service, if you want to call iy that sucks at best. Bottom line don't shop here. There are many alternatives to buy the same products from reputable companies at the same price or lower.
Buy local.
Don't buy from these guys. You'll end up with the wrong bags from their listing and they will not accept a return or exchange.
I ordered a headset The first unit I received was outdated and wouldn't function any longer with any of today's phone systems. The second one kept you tethered to the phone base. I can buy a unit like that at our local Office Depot for one twelfth of the price. The first one return shipping was covered since it was outdated equipment. The second one we had to pay the return shipping. Just reconfirms how much shopping online is a risk with unreputable companies.
I have to choose 1 STAR to get on this review - but really - FactoryOutletStore OWES ME 3 STARS for just talking to them! KNOW THIS - you ARE going to get Ripped OFF! KNOW THIS FIRST - now, go order from them if you want to - YOUR CHOICE!

Answer: But these things locally. I don't trust this place. I bought phones which were refurbished but NEVER stated as such. One stopped working a month after receipt! Pay a few $& more and stay away from this place.
Answer: That's a question no one can answer for me. Tried calling and now I have to wait 10 days for their investigation
