I have ordered from fabric.com on several occasions and had no problems until recently. I ordered a yard of expensive fabric with the intention of placing a larger order of the same fabric if I liked it. I knew I could order more because they said on fabric description that it was reorderable and would be kept in stock. I loved the fabric when I received the yard piece and wrote a nice review. However, when I laid it out I saw it wasn't a full yard. That's never happened before so I didn't complain. I went to place an order for 3 more yards and the fabric is out of stock. This fabric is exclusive to fabric.com so I can't buy it anywhere else. There is no indication when or if the fabric will be restocked and there was no response to my email. I am very disappointed because I trusted fabric.com to have it in stock as they advertised. When you carry fabrics exclusive to your company that customers can't purchase elsewhere and you advertise that you will keep it in stock why is it out of stock?
Fabric.com always has a great selection. What I order looks just like on monitor. Shipping is incredibly fast, the best in all I've shopped with. The quality of the fabric is lovely.
I purchased fabric at Walmart and then realized I did not have enough. Walmart had sold out so I ordered the same from Fabric.com and was disappointed to find that the fabric was faded. Perhaps a different dye lot?
Having dealt with many online fabric companies, I have to say that I really love fabric.com! Great selection, sales and customer service. Shipping is much faster than many sites out there and the quality is perfect. Easy to navigate site and purchasing is easy and convenient. Check them out!
My first time buying fabric from this particular company and it was not the best. I paid for a certain yard for each piece and they definitely cut shorter than I paid for. For example: I bought 3 yards and received 2 yards and 12". Not cool. If I bought 3 yards it was for a reason and I want what I paid for. I will make sure I tell my sewing group to beware because this is misleading
Before March 2020, this was a decent place to order fabric. They have a large selection and almost decent prices and I got my order in about 4 days. However, they seem to be using the COVID 19 pandemic as the biggest excuse I've ever heard for taking 2 weeks to cut and ship fabric. After over a week of my order still being "processed", I called and was told that it could take another week to get my order out. Like I can wait that long. I live 20 minutes from Joann Fabrics' headquarters. It has become easier to order online and jump in my car to pick up an order. Too bad.

My order was delivered within the given time frame on the earlier side. The fabric was exactly what I ordered and I'm pleased. My order said processing and it shipped out at the correct time. After I placed my order, I saw so many bad reviews so I wanted others to know my good experience.
I've never been to this website before and yet there's an attempted charge at 1:34am est 7/12/20 from this website. Due to the being an attempted fraudulent charge my bank canceled my card. Proceed with caution!
My order was put in May and I have no shipment tracking information. This company does not respond to calls and I have sent e-mails until they finally responded with due to COVID they were forced to close and my order is on its way but no shipping tracking number. I waited another 9 days and sent another e-mail and no response again. I called the number posted on the receipt and on the website and there is no response.
I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contacting the Attorney General Bob Ferguson in my state and the state of California if I do not get this resolve. I either want my money back or the material I ordered.

I was hesitant to order from this company after reading the reviews; they were rated either 1 star or 5 stars. Well, I would give it 5 stars. I ordered online so had no interaction with anyone on the phone or with customer service. I received my order ahead of the expected delivery date. Fabric was cut perfectly straight (not angled like some complaints, leaving customers short of yardage) and my pieces came in one length (not cut into segments). From my limited experience, I would order from them again. My only quibble is that I would have liked the option to order 1/4 or 3/4 of some cuts rather than 1/2 or a full yard.
My wife ordered some fabrics and some yarns. Fabrics were shipped quick and received quick. After a week or so they sent an email regarding one yarn being out of stock and refunded the money. Month and a half later my wife asked me about the yarns and i realized we didn't receive any info about those. I wrote an angry email which resulted in them emailing me the next day with "sorry, items are out of stock" and asked if they should refund the money.
Is it just me or they tried to steal few bucks by ignoring me for more than a month?
Every time my wife has ordered from them, the transaction has been positive. The only issue I might mention is I wish there was a way to limit the search results as to what is actually available. Seeing a bunch of fabrics listed as not available to order is not helpful. Otherwise it was a positive experience.
I ordered 2 items from Fabric.com One of them was out of stock and Fabric.com were very quick to refund the cost of that item and its postage - great customer service. The international delivery was very quick. I would definitely by from Fabric.com again.
On 4/3/2020 I ordered fabric from this company. I paid for my order with paypal. It stated that it would take 7-10 business days to go out. I waited 2 weeks for my order and it never arrived. I went back into their website to get the phone number and noticed it now has a notice that due to Covid 19 it is taking 2 1/2 to 3 weeks to ship. I called the company and the guy that I talked to said my order was about to go out and to be patient. On 4/27 I sent a email inquiring about my order and waited for a reply. On 4/28 I tried calling to see if my order had shipped and had to leave a message. Kate in the evening I received a email that they were out of the product I ordered and they were not sure if it would be coming in but did I want to substitute another color. I sent a reply and told them to cancel my order and refund my money. I have now wasted 25 days on this company and now I have to start over looking for this fabric elsewhere.
This was my first order from Fabric.com. My son's & fiancee's wedding on May 24th is amidst Covid crisis. I ordered wedding fabric to make wedding themed facial masks. Order was placed 4/18/20 for estimated delivery May 19. I explained situation to Fabric.com. My order was expedited and received within a week! The wedding plans are in chaos. I have strong reason to believe that the album will have photos of them in formal wedding attire with Fabric.com 'bridal' masks on the bride and groom. This will make for an unusual be memorable moment for all. Fabric.com proved that we are all in this pandemic together and need to help each other in our own way.
I hope I will be able to submit photo of finished masks at later date; groom's will have a mini bow-tie and bride's will have lace and a bit of blue flowers. I want this will make people smile.

I tried to cancel my order after reading other reviews. They sent it days and days later and sent me an email after saying it was too late to cancel the order (of course I didn't believe them). Then, they sent me the wrong fabric-something similar but not the right one so that makes me think it was not a mistake. I'm trying to return it now-lets see how that goes!
I was trying to find cotton fabric for masks 4/9/20, and this site popped up. The web site was easier to navigate than several others I looked at, and easier to tell what fabric was left (not a huge selection, but able to get what I needed.). When order sent, was told to expect May 15ish. I was surprised then when I got an e-mail 4/18 saying the fabric was on it's way! Got in a few days. It seems of good quality, and I look forward to working with it. I was surprised by all the negative reviews--that certainly has not been my experience.
Thankyou fabric.com for great service. I expected to wait more than a month in these uncertain times but the fabric arrived in a week and a half to Australia. Quality fabric also. Good luck to you all over there in the US and stay safe

Answer: Im using them for almost a year but no more... they keep sending me 25 % discount almost every week to gain me back... NO WAY! Yeah i order atleast 2,000 each order... total loss for them... until now they still awe me money for the fleece fabric i order long time ago, when i order it it has 50 yards of it, after 10 days they gonna tell me its out of stock, waited for replacement, until now no replacement... i got a lot of horrible experience with this company,,, dirty fabric that looks like somebody use it to rub on their body... really really sucks!
Answer: My business is making curtains. I have dealt with this company for the past two years and I think the customer service department is doing the best they can with trying to making it look like the company has it together. They do not have it together at all. There is no excuse with the volume of business that they do that they cannot afford a system that can tell you immediately an item is out of stock. I cannot tell you how many times I have purchased fabric from this company only to learn three days later that it is not in stock. Then they hold the rest of your order for another three to four days after you answer an email telling them to continue to ship the rest of the order. I have had fabric arrive to me balled up in a box that they didn't even bother to put in a bag, I have had fabric with shoe prints on it in the middle of the bolt or pieces of fabric missing from a ten yard order that were cut out of the middle of the ten yards. I am trying to eventually not use this company at all anymore as they don't have a clue as to how to treat customers or just don't care. The only problem is they have run all of the mom and pop online fabric stores out of business with lower prices (this was maybe two years ago) and the smaller businesses couldn't keep up with them so they closed. Now that they have the market they have raised their prices because they have very little competition out there. If you leave a good review for this company you are one in a million that have had a pleasurable experience. Just because you bought from them once and don't have a complaint means nothing, consider yourself lucky.
Answer: It's a US website, so they'll take the money in US dollars, but if they take orders from Australia your bank or payment processor will have to convert the currency according to the current exchange rate and I think they may also charge a fee for doing this.

Answer: I would call or email them, including as much detail as you can... order #, what fabrics were ordered and approximately the time of the order. Have never had this happen to me from Fabric.com, have from another online site and was lucky that I got the help I needed. Good Luck.
Answer: As a customer of theirs, almost an ex-customer of theirs at this point, I can honestly say they have made absolutely no changes for the better in my case. They have paid absolutely no attention to any of my issues with them, which is why I'm about to become a former customer.
