I've been using Fabric.com for over a year. I recently placed an order and received an exception stating that one of the fabrics I chose was no longer available, for me to choose another one. Lace is hard to duplicate with size of pattern, color and price point. I found one that was 22 cents more and they told me I could not sub for it because it cost 22 cents more. Are you kidding me? This was my 4 th purchase in 2 weeks ( I'm working on a project) any way She wanted me to cancel and reorder, I had 4 other fabrics on this order. Well I canceled all right! Did not reorder and probably won't after their treatment and service. So Disappointed
Ordered 12 yards of fabric for some outdoor furniture. Dropped off the fabric to the person who was going to sew the fabric. A week later she started working on the project and informed me that they only sent 4 yards and 12 inches of the fabric (paid over $460.00). There was never an email, phone call, etc. letting us know that they didn't send all of the fabric. I called customer service and they didn't have any notes, etc. as to why we didn't receive all of the fabric. They also didn't have enough to send me the remaining fabric to complete the job. So disappointed as this needed to be completed and now we cannot find the fabric and we have just part of what we need. Never again!
They take your money and later tell you it is out of stock and refund you your money back. Do not waste you our time review before purchasing.
I am corporate client Fabric.com with good volume of purchase. I did received my merchandise on time but there was an issue with international shipping specification that i could not fix after talking 25 minutes to service clerk and no follow up call from manager ( they promise a 24 hrs return call policy).
Still no resolution after 2 weeks.
My comapny is hotel textile supplier since 1996 in Montréal, Canada
(1) All three of these fabrics were inexpensive, and I think at least two were on clearance, so I have no complaint towards the company, but they were not completely color-fast. Not to such a degree that their attractiveness was impaired, but when I prewashed them all separately, all left varying degrees of either light gray or pink (the middle one) on Shout color-catcher papers. When I rinsed the left one and middle one again, however, Shout papers remained white. The fabric on the right, however, still returned the paper with a faint grayish tinge, even when washed again, with a delicate detergent, the next day. I will be careful when I wash the garments I plan to make with these fabrics, avoiding washing for the first few times with color-susceptible white underwear, for instance.
(2) I had to call customer service during the ordering process, and their representative, a man, was very pleasant and helpful. No long wait to speak to a human being, either!
(3) I ordered on 2/15, and by 2/16 got a notice that the order had been processed, giving a UPS tracking number. A few days after that, UPS tracking was saying that it was on its way and would be delivered the next day. I was delighted, but the next time I checked tracking, the progress line had greatly regressed and there was no indication of when to expect delivery. There appeared to be no way I could contact UPS and get an answer from a human as to the reason, but after a while (thanks to the covid-19 vaccines being delayed, I realized that it must be due to the winter storms disrupting things between the East and West Coasts. The package arrived on the 23rd.
(4) While I didn't use a yardstick to measure, the fabrics seem to have been given a generous cut, and they were all whole pieces.
On the whole, I am very pleased and expect to be ordering from fabric.com again.
Added later: I believe that shipping was free for orders of $49 and above.

Warning, they will send you emails every 4 hours and will not respect unsubscribe requests. I even had a customer support person say they would remove me from the email lists and I still get emails every day. At least it's not 6 times a day any more. Do not give them your email address.
Ordered a floral pattern paper for my craft work. Loved its design very much. Arrived within given period of time and was in good shape.

I tried ordering from them for our Dept. They will not return my calls or emails. They never removed our tax seeing that we are exempt and did not apply the coupon. I have left voicemails and emails asking for a new invoice but no response. I'm not sure how they are in business. I would give it 0 stars if I could
I had two customers order from fabric.com The first ordered many yards where the watermark was on the right side of fabric and there was no way to cut out anything without the watermark being on it! The other ordered one yard of green fabric. There was a running flaw the entire length of the fabric about 10' wide. Her other piece was sunbrella fabric and was washed on Delicate and cold water, then air dried- the entire piece was pilled and had fade spots, obviously fabric that was faulty. Customer service was NOT good. She is still waiting for her money back on the fabric. Meanwhile, she paid for an item to be made that will not hold up! Do NOT order from this company. (I would add photos but it is not allowing me to do so)
I've made several large orders with fabric.com. There have been some issues that have been frustrating to me. I ordered and they waited about a week to ship it and by then they must have sold the fabric I ordered to somebody else because it was no longer available. They apologized and refunded me. I was mad really mad. They took the time to make it right with me and gave me a credit. I have ordered from them several times since and have had ZERO problems. I appreciate the fact that they are making the effort to improve. Great job fabric.com I will continue to purchase from you!
I ordered two colors of fabric, three yards of ivory and nine of nectarine. It might sounds awful, but I got swatches first, and it was really quite nice. The rolls arrived. The ivory was fine, and the other roll, unlabelled, was a totally different color. I called, and they attributed the discrepancy to my computer monitor. But I had the sample; it had nothing to do with my monitor (which is fine, by the way). They they sent an email saying that they hadn't shipped my order because they were out of the ivory. But I HAD the ivory. Then they sent another email saying that they'd sent me the wrong color because they didn't have the one I ordered. In the meantime, they actually collected the wrong roll and sent the right one. But they clearly have no idea what they're doing. There were more emails, but you have the idea. The price was fine, and I ultimately got what I ordered, but my time and trouble are worth something, and I won't waste either on fabrics.com again. I gave them one star because giving them none is not an option.

Ordered for the first time from Fabric.com and although the order came quickly, the five yards came in 3 sections. I first checked to see if I could get a replacement but they were sold out. I also checked and there was no indication I would get anything other than a single cut. Since it was a conversational print for a client, switching it would be a problem. I wrote to complain and to be fair while they did offer to refund me the fabric and have me return it and offer 10% off my next order, for my purposes that wasn't helpful. Then I went to make the project and realized they undercut the yardage by a little over a half a yard between all the peices. Which meant on top of the technical issues cutting the garment because the yardage is in pieces, the pattern will have to be switched to something more complicated to accommodate the lack of yardage. I am quite frustrated. Had their warehouse contacted me when they realized the issues with the order and partially refunded the fabric, they would have managed my expectations, shown honesty and illustrated they valued my business. This wasn't an honest mistake but sloppy business. Their warehouse had to know the order was bungled and didn't care. As I am writing my review I am noticing others writing similar reviews, so this is not that uncommon. Buyer beware.
My shipment arrived within less time than projected, though UPS continues to list my package as "Delayed".
I am very pleased with the quality of the medium weight cotton interlock that I purchased to sew long sleeved winter T-shirts for my husband.

I bought fabric which was shipped from USA to the UK and was very happy with the service I received and the delivery time. As a first time buyer I also received a discount on my purchase which helped with the overall costs. Parcel arrived within 8 days. It was better to buy through the site direct than going through Amazon.com who were charging more for the items and delivery. I would definitely use the site again. The only downfall was the import charges which are a UK issue not related to this website.

Answer: Im using them for almost a year but no more... they keep sending me 25 % discount almost every week to gain me back... NO WAY! Yeah i order atleast 2,000 each order... total loss for them... until now they still awe me money for the fleece fabric i order long time ago, when i order it it has 50 yards of it, after 10 days they gonna tell me its out of stock, waited for replacement, until now no replacement... i got a lot of horrible experience with this company,,, dirty fabric that looks like somebody use it to rub on their body... really really sucks!
Answer: My business is making curtains. I have dealt with this company for the past two years and I think the customer service department is doing the best they can with trying to making it look like the company has it together. They do not have it together at all. There is no excuse with the volume of business that they do that they cannot afford a system that can tell you immediately an item is out of stock. I cannot tell you how many times I have purchased fabric from this company only to learn three days later that it is not in stock. Then they hold the rest of your order for another three to four days after you answer an email telling them to continue to ship the rest of the order. I have had fabric arrive to me balled up in a box that they didn't even bother to put in a bag, I have had fabric with shoe prints on it in the middle of the bolt or pieces of fabric missing from a ten yard order that were cut out of the middle of the ten yards. I am trying to eventually not use this company at all anymore as they don't have a clue as to how to treat customers or just don't care. The only problem is they have run all of the mom and pop online fabric stores out of business with lower prices (this was maybe two years ago) and the smaller businesses couldn't keep up with them so they closed. Now that they have the market they have raised their prices because they have very little competition out there. If you leave a good review for this company you are one in a million that have had a pleasurable experience. Just because you bought from them once and don't have a complaint means nothing, consider yourself lucky.
Answer: It's a US website, so they'll take the money in US dollars, but if they take orders from Australia your bank or payment processor will have to convert the currency according to the current exchange rate and I think they may also charge a fee for doing this.

Answer: I would call or email them, including as much detail as you can... order #, what fabrics were ordered and approximately the time of the order. Have never had this happen to me from Fabric.com, have from another online site and was lucky that I got the help I needed. Good Luck.
Answer: As a customer of theirs, almost an ex-customer of theirs at this point, I can honestly say they have made absolutely no changes for the better in my case. They have paid absolutely no attention to any of my issues with them, which is why I'm about to become a former customer.
