Fabletics is an innovative, high-quality athletic wear & accessories line co-founded by Kate Hudson that looks great & fits your budget.

Fabletics enjoys a generally positive reputation for its high-quality activewear, particularly among plus-size customers, with many expressing satisfaction with the product's fit and style. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to the return process and subscription management, which many find frustrating and convoluted. Issues such as delayed refunds, poor inventory management, and inadequate support from customer service representatives contribute to a negative shopping experience for some. Overall, while the product quality garners praise, the customer service approach and operational challenges indicate areas needing improvement for enhanced customer satisfaction.

VIP programme: Fabletics apparently do not think it is odd that their customer journey to purchase results in several people accidentally subscribing to a monthly purchasing plan. (Resulting in users subscribing to a £44 a month service the neither desire nor can afford. (The fact that the user wanted pay the cheaper price, I think really speaks volumes on this point!). These accidental sign up complaints seem to happen only too frequently and the complaints keep flooding in. Stay away folks!
I signed up for a VIP membership to get my first outfit for $25. After placing order, I was charged $79 for my first "outfit." When I called about it, I was told it is only the first "item" not "outfit" that is $25. Second, they are always out of the items or in the colors that you want. If you want an outfit that you see on tv, forget it, or at least in that color. Also, I just learned if you don't opt out by the 5th of the month then you are automatically charged $49.95 per month. Fabletics is a total scam and a rip-off.
I ordered an outfit which I thought was half price which turned out not to be... that didn't bother me that much. However, I looked at my bank account a few weeks later and there was money debited and credited a few times then 2 debits because I apparently signed up for VIP which debits from your account every month (49.95us). I called to cancel and they tried so much to have me not cancel. They eventually say they will credit the exact conversion back into my account... which I had to break down to them over and over again. Then of course they don't credit the correct amounts... Because of the conversions they say Canadian to American. They say there isn't anything they can do about it. I usually don't get upset about a little difference but this is just B. S! They shouldn't even get a dollar from anyone for free... especially with the poor customer service and VIP scam. FYI I immediately cancelled and requested a new card when I saw all the debits from my account. THUMBS DOWN! They don't even get 1 star rating from me
At the till they get you to tick the, "agree to terms and conditions" as all online companies do. However they use this to sign you up to a monthly direct debit of £44 which they call a charge. Which then according to them becomes a credit on your account and now has no monetary value. Although it is still your £44. They refuse to refund your money and make it extremely hard for you to stop the monthly account "Charge". Disgusting business practice. Unethical and horrible. Daylight robbery.
The clothes are advertised for much more than their worth - don't be fooled. THE COMPANY WILL RIP YOU OFF, TAKE A MONTHLY CONTRIBUTION (£44 PER MONTH) AND REFUSE A REFUND The customer service team are an appauling array of people who have no sympathy and do not care about the customer. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT purchase from this company. Infact, we all wish to believe that buying 'online' is the new and 'so much safer, faster and easier'. Well, Fabletics are a perfect example of why we should all go back to BUYING FROM SHOPS. I hope that onlin website dont all turn into this forcing us to abort buying onine and returning to the shops as it would be a waste of brilliant technology - unfortunately, Fabletics abuse these rights! Oh and if you do decide to sign up anyway, dont sign up to VIP (which means no discount unfortunately). My first item, which i purchased for £22 actually cost £66 with a further 'tip' to Fabletics of £44 for the next month. Do not buy from Fabletics - once they have your money they no longer give a damn!
MUST READ IF YOU HAVE AN ACCOUNT AND WANT TO DELETE IT OR YOU HAVE NOT SIGNED UP YET!
I workout often and I am always looking for high quality workout clothes for low prices. So naturally, Fabletics seemed appealing. They give you your first purchase 50% on top of their VIP deal, so a pair of capris was only $17. I was aware of their monthly policy and have been a member of other websites that have similar contracts (like ShoeDazzle). I placed my first order and was pretty excited about it, until I read these comments. The experiences people had on this website scared me, and I realized what a HUGE mistake I had made. I called immediately to cancel my account.
Beware, they try to get you to keep your account. Don't play into that, be strong! The first conversation I had went well, the representative was able to deactivate my VIP membership as well as cancel my initial purchase. I even asked him to make sure my credit card information and my address were NOT in the system. He ensured me they were REMOVED. So I hung up and was finished.
However, when I logged into my account again, I realized my information was STILL THERE! I then called again and got into contact with another representative. I asked him to remove my information. At first he removed my credit card information, but not my address. He said he would have to speak to his supervisor in order to delete my address. After waiting on hold for roughly 3 minutes, I was told to try logging back in. When I tried logging in, my original username and password did not work. This is how I know my account was OFFICIALLY deleted from their system - if the username and password were not recognized, there was no way they could have any of my information.
I am so beyond thankful I read this site and deleted my account. Kate Hudson should be weary of associating her name with a company like this. I suggest making sure your username and password are not registered if you had asked to cancel your account as this is the only way to ensure they aren't holding onto your information. Avoid this website!
I normally never write reviews. But my experience with fabletic was such a disaster that i felt like I had to warn other women.
After ordering my first outfit, I apparently missed out on the monthly charges to follow and got charged $68.75 CAN the next month. So I called the company to get a refund and to cancel my VIP account (that I had just learned about). The lady I talked too refund me (it ended up being less than what was charged to my card) but was really persistent about me keeping my account. So its only after arguing for a bit that she finally agreed to cancel it. I waited for her to do it and, before hanging up, I asked her to confirm me that my account had really been cancelled. And she did.
Today, I saw that my card got charged AGAIN! I called them back and I got told that the previous customer service representative I talked too wrote in "comments" that I had decided to continue my account!? What a waist of my time, my money, and my trust! I have never been that desapointed by a company! Please don't make the same mistake and don't support this brand!
I just ordered an outfit this morning- I should have read reviews prior. Apparently upon ordering, reviews state that you will be charged $50.00 unless you purchase something each month.
So I called this morning to take myself off of the VIP membership. Surprisingly taking myself off the VIP membership would also cost me my "first order at $25.00". That was cancelled too.
Too bad - Just beware.
Most of items I have bought have been of great quality. Only thing that felt a little cheaply made was a t-shirt item with a cut out back. The back look fantastic but the front was awful. The leggings are amazing for the price. I do find the material like da thick tho. They do charge you every month unless you skip... It was pretty clear when I signed up... I don't understand how people think it's a scam? I'm sorry you're too stupid to read.
Apparently when I ordered my first outfit, I unknowingly signed up to be charged $50 a month indefinitely. Every girl's dream, right? When I saw a pending $50 fee the month after my first purchase, I emailed customer service to ask them why I would be charged $50 without 1) Authorizing a purchase or 2) Receiving any items. They responded verbatim:
"Thank you for contacting Fabletics, my name is Brent. I understand that you need assistance with your account. I see no charge under this email address you provided. Thank you for being the best part of Fabletics. Have a wonderful day."
I emailed them back saying UMMMM yes, there is a charge! What liars! And they never responded - That was three weeks ago. I called the customer services line today, and it was a headache getting a real person on the line. Once I finally spoke with a human, I think I had to say at least 10 times that I wanted to cancel my account before she did it. They also refunded me my $50, so I give them props for at least that. Otherwise, this would have been a one star review.
Prior to this experience, I probably would have made a second purchase at Fabletics, since I really liked the first items I received. After all this, there is no way in hell I would trust Fabletics with my credit card number EVER AGAIN. Fooled me once, Fabletics. Such a shame.
Ok. Without me checking my bank, They have charged my credit card for 5 months now for 49.95 monthly. I AM IN SHOCK AND DISGUSTED MOOD for this business. It is like a SCAM. How are we supposed to read all the tiny print when we shop online? How do we supposed to check and hit "SKIP" button (which I never found where it locates) every month while we have thousands of emails coming in everyday? The business idea is STUPID. I WANT TO BUY CLOTHES WHEN I WANT IT AND HOW I WANT IT. Who would want to be pushed buying clothing every month? (not even decent quality, and GYM clothes, come on, who would need to buy gym clothes EVERY month? One word, STAY AWAY, DON'T SIGN UP, DON'T BUY from this site. Can't believe Kate's face is on it to gain our trust. STUPID ACT from you, Kate.
Clothing is thin, poorly constructed and doesn't hold up or fit well. Better read the fine print on the membership, changed my credit card # to prevent them from further scamming me as they were left with no choice but to cancel my account. You get what you pay for they say, and in this case so true. Inferior materials, very low quality sewn, and absolutely rotten customer service, learned my lesson. I am headed back to Bebe Sport for my workout apparel.
Snotty customer service rep when I was considering cancelling. Would rather pay full price than have horrible people to talk to. Won't be using fabletics again.
Clotheso are not worth the attitude.
I ordered clothing for my daughters who are a size 4 and the cloths ran so small that they had to order size medium or large in some cases. Each piece of clothing was so thin that they had to where a second shirt underneath to not be exposed. The clothing is very overpriced for the quality and it is very difficult to cancel the VIP membership. Interestingly enough, you can sign up for the membership via the site and/or email, but you cannot cancel via the same method and must call during business hours. I would not recommend ordering from this site.
If I have only given my email address to Fabletics and haven't bought anything, will i be okay? I read the reviews before purchasing and saw it was a really bad idea... someone let me know! And how can i delete my account!
I was looking forward to making a purchase from this company but after reading so many negative reviews, I can only hope more read these reviews and stay away from this fraudulent company. Shame on Kate Hudson for endorsing this company... shows a lack of integrity on her part.
I wish I had read these reviews before making a purchase with Fabletics. I have been conned! It is almost impossible to cancel your membership, not to mention getting a refund for all the money they have pilfered from my account. I have had to get my bank to stop the payments but am still struggling to get my account taken down! Does anyone have any advice for cancelling my account?
Although the garments I bought were great quality I am disgusted as to how £88 was taken from my account. Without reading the extremely small print that was 'apparently' at the end of the order confirmation I was unknowingly signed on to be part of the vip membership scheme. During January and February the company persisted to take £44 each month out of my account without sending emails, warnings or options to cancel my membership that I didn't even know I was on. After ringing up and explaining my situation I was told that there was no chance of a refund of the money which means I have unwillingly paid £88 for no garments. I don't suggest you use this site and stick to other more loyal and not sly websites.
This is an awful scam! You call to cancel and the lady will pretend she can't hear you. And will repeatedly do this and they will charge your credit card and make it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. Fraud. Scam. TERRIBLE COMPANY!
Not only is everything mediocre quality, but they purposefully make it hard to cancel your membership! :( I've bought leggings and other active wear for better quality and a lower price
Answer: I did read the fine print, as stated, which you find out when you are about to place your order. Those few who LOVE Fab would have you believe, that we are dolts and can't figure out this "club" has you by the short hairs once you order 1 outfit... the hook is set. So if you wanna hassle with the $49.95 charge that you may or not remember to decline each month, see the charges on your card, only to find you have "store credit" instead of the charges removed... then by all means, place your order. As far as the 16% "like" rate at the top, THAT in itself should let you know, steer clear. It took me MANY attempts just to stop their emails from coming to me... finally!
Answer: Hi Heidi I really would cancel as soon as possible because if you don't you will be charged whether you buy anything or not. Do it now because if not before 5th, you will be charged. You have to do this every month it's really not worth the hassle, I would buy from the high street at least you know where you stand. Also, I am assuming Myka works for the company! There are very few positive comments about this company I would steer well clear.
Answer: I rang my bank and told them to stop any future payments leaving my account. When I finally got through to fabletics, I had the worst most arrogant a***hole in customer services so I wouldn't bother wasting your breath
Answer: When I cancelled, I made sure that I used up every dime of credit because I was pretty sure that this shady company would take the credit I was owed. Someone should start a class action suit against them. They just do whatever they want...
Answer: The best thing to do is to use your credit and buy something in the amount you were charged and then call to cancel your membership. You can try to get them to reverse the charges but chances are you won't get it back. Don't cancel until you use the money you already paid though!
Answer: All the good reviews on this site most likely come from employees, you could ask them.
Answer: Unfortunately this company is corrupt. You'll have to call relentlessly until they answer. I cancelled over the phone successfully. Leave a post with your negative experience getting a hold of someone to cancel.
Answer: I bombarded them on twitter and Facebook. They got back to me quick!
Answer: No you are not. Cancel it asap and then you won't get charged the monthly subscription charge. Best to call them and cancel it over the phone, and then send an email stating that you called and that they promised to cancel the account just as back up.
Answer: I think you should be okay! Canceling it is easy but I really doubt they'll send you a bill! I used it for a while and had no problems until this one but they were so beyond rude :( unless they have your billing information they can't just charge you!
