I placed a order 2 weeks ago for 2 pairs of Sunglasses on Friday I received only one pair and still have not received an update on the second pair! Highly pissed because these were supposed to be a gift for my mother! Ezcontacts had lost my business!
My order took longer than 2 months to process. I called a few times within that time frame and they said my glasses were in back order... which the website did not say that at all while I was purchasing the frames. They offered to cancel and send in a different color I declined and just continued to wait. Each time I contacted them they gave me a different eta. However when they finally came they were perfect, and the representatives were nice. That's why it's not a complete 1 rating.
3+ weeks for delivery with no communication makes for a frustrating first time customer experience. Would be hard pressed to order again
Quality and price are excellent communication needs to be improved. If a dely is happening customer should be notified as told in terms other than that im very satisfied
These are quality glasses, but I had quite the runaround to get them. It took them three weeks to mail them the first time, but when they arrived they were the wrong glasses. After getting bounced around to a couple different customer service reps, and several emails later, I found out first that my glasses were out of stock, then that they were in stock but needed to be shipped from Europe. Almost two weeks after *that* my glasses, finally, arrived. They upgraded my lenses as a courtesy, so that was nice. But I don't know if I'll try to use this company again. The glasses were affordable but not worth the hassle in my case.
I Ordered My Frames March 22nd, Today Is April 14th, 2017 & I Still Havent Recieved My Stuff! In Getting Real Pissed Off Because When I Talked To A Representative She Said They'll Be Here By The End Of Two Weeks Ago! Yet I Still Havent Recieved Them. I Think I Am Going Take This To The Courts Cause This Is Absolutely Ridiculous! I Will Be Filing A Law Suit Against EZ CONTACTS!
I am regretting ordering glasses online. They are selling items that they dont have in stock. They get the items from manufacturer after we order which takes 1-2 weeks. Then they work on it and ship which takes another week. So unless you can wait atleast 3-4 weeks to get your glasses it is not advisable to order form ezcontatcs.
After they ship, if there is a delay or your item gets lost in shipping, you will have to spend hours trying to call customer care and talk to someone. After that another 3-4 weeks i guess. ( my issue is not resolved yet)
They never notified me of a delay from the manufacturer (even though their site states that they notify within 24 hours). It was two full weeks and the only reason I found out was because *I* contacted them. Then they gave me the runaround and swore they'd let me know when the frames actually did come in. They didn't tell me. I had to ask. Then they said they were giving me upgraded 1-2 day shipping. I got the shipping notification on a Wednesday evening and didn't receive the glasses till Monday. After all this, all they actually gave me was a measly additional 5% off. This equated to only $11... for having to way almost 4 full weeks and fight them constantly for updates.
NEVER USE THEM!
Glasses were nice and no issue with the lens prescription (which has not always been the case with other online places). The process of making them took a few weeks, which I was not expecting (and was getting a little worried about), but it was worth the wait!
Ordered a pair of Michael Kors prescription sunglasses... positive they're fake. Requesting a refund!
I will never order from this company again. Receipt of my order was delayed for weeks. Customer service was incredibly difficult - instant message service nonfunctional, most of my emails were never answered, very long wait times to speak with representative on phone, promises made that were never kept, my glasses arrived and did not even pass a simple 4 point alignment test, glasses so crooked on my face that I had to go to an opticians office and pay to have them adjusted, etc, etc. This was a horrible company to deal with in every way - buyer beware.
I ORDERED 2 PAIRS OF GLASSES AND RECVD THE 1ST PAIR BUT THE 2ND PAIR IS STILL NO RCVD - I CALLED IN S/W REP AND HE STATED A "MANAGER" WOULD SEND ME A CLAIM FORM TO SIGN AND HE WOULD LOOK INTO RESENDING ME GLASSES THAT I ORDERED ON MARCH 13TH- TODAY IS APRIL 14TH AND I STILL HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING- VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WHEN YOU CALL IN YOU ARE ON HOLD FOR AN HOUR AND GET A REP WHO YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR PULLING TEETH FROM TO GET AN ANSWER!
Good site for eyeglasses they have a great selection of frames and lenses for good competitive prices
My purchase date was March 12th not March 30th. It literally took a whole 30 days to get my order. The product I ordered is ok, but the quality is not that great.
My card was charged even though my sunglasses weren't even available to ship in 1-2 weeks! Had a hard time trying to reach a customer representive as well.
I have "contacted customer service" more than 5 times. Same story, ordered two weeks ago, said they'd be shipped to me by today- order is "pending" still and have already been charged on my card. I will strongly consider filing suit against EZContacts
If you're a person of a certain age-- you'll remember the above warning from a beloved character named "Robot" featured in the 1960's series "Lost in Space." For a moment, humor me, and pretend your "Will Robinson" and I'm "Robot"-- and allow me to forewarn you to "run as fast as you can from EZ Contacts!" My order has been processing since it was placed more than 10 business days ago-- I've apprised my FSA representative who has informed me how to get my funds returned, as well as the BBB... My next stop? Possibly the Brooklyn DA-- I'm definitely convinced that all the rave reviews they receive are from their own staff or from some other insiders who are being paid to post them-- As someone who likes luxury glasses; I advise you to pay full price@ your local optician/optical boutique. Your pockets may be a emptier--but at least you wont' be shafted!
I received my eyewear in great condition and in a timely manner. I've purchased eyewear from this company in pervious year and have been receiving great customer service and care, I recommend.
I ordered glasses for my daughter, placed the order with a service rep directly. She was very helpful gave me approx. Delivery date and I got them ahead of her scheduled time. My daughter loves her glasses.

Ordered contacts and glasses on 3/23... for the glasses a week later but it's 4/13 and I still don't have my contacts. I sent an email a week ago and haven't received a response:-( Very disappointed. Overall, I like the site and their selection of glasses and sunglasses. But ordering the contacts has been a awful.
Answer: You will wait and wait and wait and maybe have them tell you they are coming and then wait and wait and wait. My advice... don't order from them. There are so many lens companies that are fast and have good follow-up... it isn't worth it!
Answer: They are not a trustworthy company. They have lied to me on numerous occasions about an order I placed.
Answer: None of their frames are authentic, but some people don't seem to care as they are still in business, sad really as companies like this should be shut down.
Answer: This company lies, they do not return phone calls or e-mails, they have the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with and I too wonder if they are a sham.
Answer: You won't get them the next business day. I ordered glasses 3 weeks ago. After 10 days I contacted them for update, they claimed that they are discontinued, no discount or anytghing offered. So I order something else, customer service great, claims glasses will be FedEx shipped next day. Still waiting... it's been 4 days, no update. If you need your glasses fast, order elsewhere.
