I spend at least 8 hours a day during the work week in front of a computer. My $300+ glasses I bought at my eye doctors office had some sort of coating that was supposed to help my eyes when looking at my computer screen. However, I could still feel tension in my eyes at work and I'd often have a headache by the end of the day. I ordered the Lake frames with the EYEZEN bundle and UV protection hoping it would help. The price was pretty reasonable so I thought it was worth a shot. I felt my eyes relax immediately when I put my glasses on and looked at my computer screen. The only color difference I've noticed is the white on the computer screen doesn't seem as eye searingly bright. I don't know how the digital screen protection works but I haven't had a headache from looking at my computer screen since I purchased these glasses. So totally worth it!
I saw an ad on Facebook for affordable glasses-which I needed because I dont wear my glasses that often, but need to have them around just in case. So, having cheap glasses helps me not only be able to change stylish glasses often, but I get to keep one in my car, my boyfriends car, at home and at work! On top of that, I get compliments on them all the time! I love Eyebuydirects motto about changing glasses like you change shoes. :) Its nice that since I am forced to wear glasses, that I at least get to wear cute glasses!
After a second attempt to get my progressive prescription correct, they've failed again. Worse than that, apparently their 30 day refund/exchange program only works ONE time. So, if they get it wrong the second time, tough stuff. Guess what? They got it wrong twice. Now I guess I can just toss them. What a waste of money. DO NOT use Eyebuydirect.com
Have had nothing but good luck with my 2 previous purchases. Glasses have lasted one year or more. Hoping for the same with my latest purchase.
My glasses broke 6 months into wearing them (I did not even wear them all the time, only to watch tv in bed and occasionally to work) I was very disappointed, I just picked them up and the handle came off. I contacted eyebuydirect and they told me they'll send me a free pair I was very happy with the customer service until they told me I had to pay $10 for shipping. Customer service sucks felt like I was talking to a robot and I had to repeat myself multiple times plus shipping should have been covered 100% when it is not even remotely my fault the glasses broke. I am getting my so called "free pair" and never ordering glasses there again. Even if the glasses are on the cheaper side if $30 are going to break every few months I don't think that's worth it. I'll try zenni.
I was so happy with the quality of these. I was considering Warby Parker but decided to try out EBD first. I bought two pairs of prescription glasses and one pair of prescription sunglasses for cheaper than I would have spent for ONE pair of glasses at Warby Parker. Excellent quality and cheap enough that I won't feel awful if I accidentally sit on them.
I haven't gotten my glasses yet, but the ordering process was easy. However, the code I used for free shipping was for USPS shipping only, and I wasn't given the option for that method, so I was a little upset about having to pay $19 for shipping.

It was fine. Considerably less expensive than other online sites. Figuring out the sizes was a bit difficult. Pictures do not look good based on size of the glasses.
The products and price are good, but the website is slow to load and the payment process lingers on forever before accepting your credit card. Payment screen is NOT easy to us.

I'm still getting used to ordering glasses online since my eyes are very bad, I love the style choices! It's so hard to find stylish glasses in a store without a ridiculous price tag, these are so doable and super cute!
I have purchased eyewear from this site for the last 3 years, and I am impressed with the quality of the glasses. I am only purchase new glasses because my prescription has changed. The last pair of glasses are still in good shape, and I loved the design(Hampton). I will continue using this site for my eyewear.
Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
