First, I'll say that the glasses look great. Love the design and style. Unfortunately, that's where the good stuff ends. These glasses are supposed to have the anti-reflective coating on them and they are supposed to be Transitions brand photochromic lenses. I have to say that these are the absolute worst glasses I've ever owned in terms of reflections on the lenses. It's annoying and distracting to constantly have glare and reflections on my lenses and in my line of sight. This is my second pair of glasses with photochromic lenses. The first pair was about 8 years ago and the technology has evolved to make them transition faster. However, these lenses change so slowly that it makes me question whether they are legitimate Transitions branded lenses and not a cheap knock-off. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed in these glasses and will not be a returning customer.

Sure, EyeBuyDirect may have many positive reviews. Odds are, you'll receive your glasses with no problems. But with so many reputable, cheap, and fast competitors, is a chance of five hours of constantly disconnected phone calls, nonexistent follow-ups, and delays really worth your time? You risk that by choosing to do business with EyeBuyDirect.

I ordered a pair of glasses, they didn't fit, so I ordered an exchange, guaranteed by the 22nd of December, which is when I am to leave the state permanently. No problems with two day shipping, except that I never received an order confirmation.

No confirmation means delays. I called customer support, they said they would get a confirmation right away, along with another promise of delivery by the 22nd. No such email arrived. Called again, was told the same thing and given the same promise. No email again. Once more, was told it was shipped. I would get the shipping confirmation right away.

Tomorrow, still no confirmation in my inbox. I call again, they tell me it's shipped and will arrive on the 22nd. Great! No confirmation email.

An email finally comes the next morning. The package is delayed, and will arrive after I leave the state on the 23rd. I call again to work something out.

I ask for a change of delivery, with the company covering the fees of the change. Not only will they not cover the fees, they aren't able to make a phonecall to UPS to change an order that hasn't left the post office yet. This information was spread over four phone calls as they were constantly disconnected.

Finally, after being on hold on different days with all of these inquiries for a total of five hours, I ask for a refund. More holds, they refuse to give me a written guarantee of the refund, and they still refuse to refund the shipping fee. No written refund guarantee and they won't give me anything until after the glasses are delivered.

Is a chance of this frustration worth your valuable time and hard earned money? Consider buying your glasses from any of the other online shops, all of which offer huge selection, quality product, and low prices.

Kept dealing with credit card issue wouldn't even let me purchases until I had to sign in my amazon account to finally do it

EDIT: (from 4 stars to 3) Was 4 because of how bad the website has become.
Purchased 5 pairs over 3 years. Quality is good, not excellent. Lenses are always perfect. Offer some reasonably-priced lens coatings. Originally, customer service and website were great, but lately both have greatly degraded. Was overcharged and customer service basically called me a liar and i had to go through my credit card to get charges eliminated. NOT something a 4 star company makes a long time customer go through. If you don't pay for 2 day shipping, shipping and processing times are probably worst in the industry.

Uncomfortable glasses I thought these glasses would be much more comfortable they're very uncomfortable. The shopping experience what is just fine. I'm going to have to look for a much more comfortable pair of glasses

I got fast and expert help when I ordered my glasses and when I needed to exchange them.

My order arrived super quickly. However, the order didn't arrive as ordered. I've still yet to receive my replacement pair. I'll update further once I have.

When my new glasses arrived I was so disappointed because the prescription was clearly wrong, but EBD accepted the return, shipped me a replacement pair, and it's perfect!

EyeBuyDirect provides great deals, especially when compared to private eyecare providers. However I believe that higher prescriptions should also weigh options from other companies. Although EyeBuyDirect's frames are very cheap, the costs for lenses tends to drive the price up especially if the prescription is higher.
I needed to order new frames to replace my original frames, which broke after less a year of wear. The return process was a little fuzzy as I did not see a return request button. I emailed customer service and they responded very promptly!
