I initially received my glasses with the wrong prescription. I took my new glasses to my eye doctor and he confirmed that the prescription was not correct. I called the customer service number and they confirmed that the prescription was wrong. They shipped new glasses. Did not like the fact how long it took for me to get my replacements, plus the time spent going to my eye doctor. Overall very satisfied with my new glasses and would definitely recommend to anyone needing glasses.
This website has beautiful dresses that are very long - too long for most women with no petite sizes. I have ordered four and none were practical for alteration - all had to be returned. The website advertises "easy returns." That is highly misleading. When I tried to return the dresses, it took three phone calls and one email (never returned) before I received an email telling me I had to take photos of the dress with the tags on, write all the return information on the outside of the box, pay for the return ($37.00), email photos of the dress, the outside of the return box, the proof of mailing to couturecandy. Then I received notification that I would be charged the original shipping fee plus a handling charge, and they have stated they would have to inspect the dress before they would credit the return. I realize the dress was expensive but this is not an easy return - very misleading, particularly the fees charged and time involved in returning the product, while my credit card remains charged! I have asked what those fees are but have not received a response. I also asked if the company has petite sizes - answer no. I am 5'5" and normally do not wear petite sizes. These dresses seem designed for a person who is 5'9" or taller and would be wearing 3" heels. I cannot recommend this website at all. For years I've ordered from more reputable dept. stores such as Neiman Marcus, Saks, Bloomingdales, Nordstroms. They always have easy returns, with a website to print a return label, a small fee for the return and no other hassles. Some sell Terani. Dillards sells Terani and they are hassle free. In addition just leaving this review was an exercise in futility. I had to find the order confirmation, photograph it, make a JPEG, enlarge it to more than 300 pixels before it would accept it and then attach it as proof of purchase before I could complete this review. Forget couture candy. It is nothing but trouble. Go to a reputable department store and leave this company behind.

The pair of glasses I got for $50 is the same quality of product of the $200 pairs I've gotten before, from other places. Not to mention my glasses are heart shaped :)

Glasses were nicer than expected. Prescription was precise. However my shipping carton, storage box, eyeglass case & soft storage bag were all WET due to the rainy weather... Perhaps you would consider enclosing these items into one small plastic bag before placing them into the shipping box for future Winter & Spring shipments?

The order process was great, but I had an issue with shipping/delivery. I was going to be out of town and had the order shipped to where I was going to be instead of my home address. After finding out from EyeBuyDirect when the order would be shipped, I knew that I would no longer be at the out of town address. I contacted the company immediately to have the address changed to my home address -- I did this online, and followed up by phone call as well. I was assured the change was in the system. However, shortly after arriving back home I was contacted by the people at the out of town address telling me they received the order that was meant to come to my home. They had to mailed the package to me, which was an inconvenience to them.
This site is a scam! Easy to order but you will never get your glasses! Still waiting on my order after a month of placing the order

Ease of access was great, instructions and site interface were straight forward. Not a lot of fluff to sift through which is appreciated. Point of purchase was nice, as were the price points.

I had no issues with ordering or delivery, but I did notice that the quality of my glasses had changed--I'm not sure if it's the coating or what, but I ordered a pair of the "Duchess" frames that I had initially ordered a couple years back and these frames feel much flimsier than my old pair.
Wish there were more savings options for customers buying cheaper frames.

Easy to order and great quality products! Buying glasses online is not the easiest thing to do but Eyebuydirect is hands down the best! I was worried that it was going to be a nightmare exchanging some glasses but they made it so incredibly easy! I'll forever be a loyal customer!

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
