My insurance only covers glasses OR contacts once a year, and I have daily contacts, so I always have to buy new. I haven't bought a new pair of glasses in over 10 years. I got my prescription from my eye doctor and added it to Eye Buy Direct website and got a new pair of glasses for $30! I even got the option to add blue light, which I did since I sit at a computer screen for most of the day. Great experience!

Glasses are great. Only complaint is USPS showed my glasses where finally at my local post office, but then headed way south, 30 minutes away, so it had to route back here, which took several more days of waiting. Not EyeBuyDirect fault.

Shopping experience was good in terms of placing the order however the process took a while now to do a follow up to ensure that my product will arrive before my trip as advertised. It appears the rep I spoke to do some thing in the back to ensure that my order arrived on time, so I was eventually satisfied with that. The product however appears to not be as good of quality but I guess commensurate with the price.

Delivery time was actually horrific, I know that's not really EBD's fault. My order came to my state and was so close to me, then left my state, then shipped across the country, and came back to my state. It was bad.

Answer: Or you can be like me and have not received your order after more than a month of waiting. Granted, I'm in Guam, but given that the USPS works here pretty much the same way it works in the states, no other retailer has any problem getting their packages to me in a timely manner. The company has sent me two different tracking numbers for the same package. The tracking report from the post office says the package was supposed to be here 12 days ago and the last time it appears the package was scanned was 24 days ago. I have emailed the company multiple times and every time they reply with some generic apology and continue to stall. The package clearly got lost in the mail, I get that and I am typically a reasonable person but any respectable merchant intent on providing good customer service in today's online marketplace would have owned up to the issue and offered a refund or have already shipped out a replacement product. They've done neither. Does it mean they are bad people running a bad business? Probably not. However, it does mean there are probably better companies out there to give your business to who won't take so long to get you your glasses.
Answer: It depends on the frame. Some are plastic, some are metal, and there are other materials used as well. The descriptions will indicate the materials they are made out of. I've ordered 3 pairs from EBD ($6 and $9 pairs--cheapest there are) and they are excellent quality. An equivalent pair of frames alone from the store would have cost $150+, not including lenses.
Answer: I received two pairs very quickly but was very disappointed when i put them on only to find out the prescription was completely wrong. There are no refund or exchange directions in your website or with the packaging, so I did not know the number to call. Please get in touch with me asap about exchanging the glasses for ones with the correct lenses. Thank you very much.
