Worst site.

I've ordered belt. It was small and the quality not the same as on the picture, i asked to change but they didn't answer. I highly recommend not use that site!

Two things that are a major deterrent to me continuing to purchase from Express online (and I don't do malls/stores).

Firstly, two points. I purchase when their stuff is on sale, because it's simply not worth the full price when compared to the (quality/price of) competition. Secondly. I'm the same size in everything and every other player (Guess, AE, etc) allows me to easily shop online, not the same with Express for two reasons.

1. The last several times I ordered, they have canceled an item because it's suddenly "out of stock." yet it was in stock when I placed the order. Also, for some strange reason, it takes 4 days for them to realize it's out of stock. This is the only company this happens with ever, possibly the worst stock tracking system on earth.

2. The sizes are completely inconsistent. Wear a size 32 X 32 pants? Good luck, one will be long, one will be short, one will fit perfectly.

So the hassle of having items you're looking forward to canceled along with having to return items that don't fit correctly makes this a headache not worth it.

Don't waste your time

I really wanted to like Express because of their Petites line, but after placing 10 orders within the last year, only TWO have actually shipped. They will list items as being available on their website (or say that there are 'only' 1 or 2 left), and once you place your order, it will show as "processing" for several weeks before they cancel it without telling you. The only explanation I have ever gotten is the item is 'out of stock' even when these orders were placed on newly released items. I have tried messaging Express several times, but I have never received a response beyond the poor excuse that they have given. I am NEVER ordering from Express again. There are plenty of other better options out there with better inventory and better customer service.

Just... wow...

I have placed THREE online orders in the past three months and none have shown up despite the tracker stating that they were delivered. I sent online inquiries regarding the first two missing packages and received a prompt response and refunds. However, my most recent order inquiry was sent last week and I have yet to hear a response. This is absolutely ridiculous and I will never shop on the Express site or in their stores.

I placed an order and within 5 minutes realized i was charged an INCREDIBLE 40$ international processing fee on a 95$ order. Called within 5 minutes of placing order to cancel and was told MY ORDER HAD ALREADY STARTED PROCESSING SO THEREFOR COULDNT BE CANCELLED. I was absolutely shocked. This website and company is a total scam and are nothing but liars. How can an order placed at 3am be processed within 5 minutes? Utter BS. Not to mention the customer service agent told me to "just return the items" however I WOULD NOT be reimbursed the international processing fee. LIES. Once I read the fine print on the website, it it possible to receive those fees back from Express because THE CANADIAN BORDER AGENCY REFUNDS DUTIES COLLECTED FROM RETURNED ITEMS. The customer service agent simply told me to contact corporate...? This company is clearly just out to steal your money and now if I want to "cancel" my order, I must receive the order, return it, and try and argue with corporate to return the international processing fee that the canadian border agency would refund them. Totally a scam.

This is without a doubt THE worst customer service of any company ever! They don't speak or understand English first of all, I don't know where they get these idiots on the phone from, can't get your account straight, can't see your rewards even though you get an e-mail saying you have $10.00 rewards, etc. I will never order anything from this company ever again!

Terrible customer service

We ordered a gift online. If you are going to back order an item tell the customer. Customer Service was useless. Don't sign up for rewards either, they will email you every day.

I placed two orders, Dec. 18 and again Dec. 24, to be shipped to the Tuttle Mall store. It is now Feb. 11,2018, and my orders still have never shipped. Went to the mall to inquire and they just tell me to keep waiting. I finally call 1-888 number to get a rep to say, yes my orders are still pending and he has no clue why. My charge card has pending charges that I am tired to seeing every day. Just ship the darn jeans! Finally told the rep to just cancel my orders altogether and credit my charge card. Express will never be able to compete with online processing of merchandise that other stores currently have. Stay with being a brick & mortar store, god forbid you keep pissing off your customers.

This site is EXTREMELY misleading and the customer service is poor. They neglect to tell you that if you order from them, it will take almost a month and a half to receive your items. I NEVER would have ordered from them if their website had stated that they ship from overseas. And FORGET about getting real answers to emails about statuses and resolutions to problems. They should be more clear that they are shipping from "East Middle of Nowhere" and that you shouldn't expect to see your items in a reasonable amount of time. PLUS, if the item arrives damaged, which mine did, it takes FOREVER to get a resolution. I placed my order on 11/26/17 and did not receive it until the second week in January 2018. Communications were frustrating, and customer service was non existent. I was offered a partial refund for the part was broken OR having a replacement part sent the same slow boat from China way the original was sent. A partial refund meant that I was stuck with an item that would work without the broken part so that was useless to me, so I am stuck with waiting and praying that the replacement arrives in good condition. They have my money, so they do not care AT ALL whether I am a satisfied customer or not. Lesson learned, do research of where you are ordering from so you don't get burned.

Ordered a suit from this site. They shipped the suit jacket but didn't tell me the pants are no longer available. Only once I got my jacket and sent them an email, I get a response saying my order was cancelled and I wasn't charged and they apologized for the inconvenience. The trouble is, even though they say "free shipping" they charge an "international processing fee" which is an absurd amount $97.80 USD so If I want to buy another pair of pants I have to pay that fee all over again, they never offered me another option to exchange or cancel my order all together. Once you contact customer service they will address your issue only once and if you reply to the message they won't respond anymore. Crap service, don't buy anything from them, there's a reason all their Canadian stores shutdown.

My purchase took 2 and half months to arrive. I ordered 23rd Oct and I couldn't make it for a Christmas Present for my family members. It has arrived on mid of Jan
Purchase were in the plastic bubble pack without no company's retail box or paper or anything and also no invoice. How can we make it as nice present? And importantly product was of such thin and poor quality and for the price I could buy the same pan from any cheap discount shop. I contacted them for a refund as they have a' happy to refund if not happy' policy. Their reaction was unkind.

Awful Online

I always like express but I totally don like them right now. Am trying to order clothes and accessories online. I used my gift card but for some reason my order didnt go trough. I try to re order them again but then my gift card was zero balance. So weird, so I call customer service only to find out that they put a 24 hrs hold unto it eventhough the transaction wasnt successful. Its awful that I need to wait until the next day to finish my order. Its a good thing I have a gift card to redeem cause if not I will never shop at this store again. Crazy, customer service is of no help either...

If I can give a 0 rating, I would. Im a regular Express customer and just the past couple months, Ive placed orders totaling almost $2K. Not only shipping and delivery times were slow, but also my orders arrived with missing items from each order I was charged for. One of the representatives I dealt with was helpful, but turned out, most of the items were completely sold out and some would never be back in stock. Thats what I hate about shopping online, youre always competing for the size. One minute its in your cart and gone the next. Theres no first come first serve basis. You get this item firsthand and just trying to spend more money on them so youre just taking a bit more time to check out. Its total bull$#*!! But thats not it, they advertise coupons online that would not work and send out coupons in the mail that would not work either online even if it says so, and when you call customer service, they cannot do $#*! to help you out! Cant apply the coupon youre trying to use and do any adjustments to the order because it has processed when Ive been on the phone waiting for over 40minutes! They even say to your face, you just gotta know how to shop! This is definitely gonna be the last time Im supporting this company cause it aint worth my time and money! Ill see your stores to return everything ordered and take my business elsewhere and spread the word about how rude, incompetent, and less-than-poor-quality-service ripoffs that you are!

Way to expensive!

Ive found some really nice things at Express but cant shop here on a regular basis because they have overreacted prices that are beyond the scope of quality for the merchandise they sell. I now only shop here when in need of something specific and most of the time, its still too expensive.

I love Express clothes. They r cute & fashionable. Their jeans fit the best of any that I can find. I have been shopping at Express for years. I will continue to shop there. They also have really good sales & I like getting my Express Next points!

Express hit rock bottom

I was a regular "online" customer. But the site and service has hit rock bottom. Used to work flawless but the now nothing but problems, and again with my latest order. Unexpected error occurred, please submit again, submitted again. Order amount deducted TWICE from my account. And No order confirmation in email, No order in my account, No order found when using track order. And worst of all NO response from customer support. This will be my last order there

Warning to those making purchases from Canada. The items are no longer shipped out of Canada and company did not migrate the Canadian shipping properly.

Their customer service is extremely slow and unresponsive.

Items were ordered 2 months ago and it took them 1 month to provide a tracking number and finally I was unable to wait any longer and asked for a refund. (They still charged a 10 usd international processing fee)

Almost 3 months in and I do not expect anything to arrive.
