My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Exoticca. During the 10 days Peru trip, there were no surprises, and the entire trip went as per plan. Superb organization, time management, selection of hotels and sight seeing places.
This is our first amazing trip with Exoticca, and it was wonderful in every respect. Each hotel we stayed in was immaculate, with very comfortable meds and the food was of superior quality. The landscape was breathtaking, the excursions were a diverse mix of nature, history, science and culture. Our tour guide Erla (with Snaeland Grimsson) was beyond spectacular! I would highly recommend this company their travel packages are outstanding and reasonably priced as well. We can't wait to plan our next adventure!

I was a little nervous before taking the trip as I had read mixed reviews about Exoticca. However, upon arriving, I was absolutely blown away by how organized everything was and how fantastic the guides were (for reference, I took the 9-day Peru tour). I had an absolutely wonderful time and felt supported throughout the entire trip. I will definitely be taking another trip with Exoticca in the future.

It was really an amazing experience, everything went well, I arrived very late and I was greeted at the hotel and was able to order food even though it was 12 am, the guide/driver was wonderful he was a good driver, a patient person that dealt well with the idiosyncrasies of the people in the group, we experienced many extraordinary things. I will be a repeated customer with Exoticca

It was great. However, my confirmed last two nights at Verdi Grand Hotel were down graded without my permission to Impulso Fashion Hotel with a very noisy room hard to get a sleep.

We had a fantastic flight and transfer to get our trip to Norway started. We met our tour guide and got the trip going. We were able to hit all of the major attractions that we wanted to see. The only drawback in our experience is we were often brought to a new destination very late in the evenings and told to go and find dinner and look around. A little more consideration for meal times especially when trying to navigate a new city would be much more enjoyable. We had a busy schedule of being in a new city every day so it made things difficult when this was constantly happening. The only other thing is that we weren't really aware of how long it would take to get from one destination to the next which really limited any kind of significant free time between attractions. It was a nice way to see a new country and the attractions it has to offer, but ultimately a little more consideration would have made this experience even better.

The whole process was seamless except for an initial minor hiccup concerning the outbound flight which was quickly resolved. The itinerary was very clearly laid out through both a physical copy and the app, the tour guides were excellent, and the communication was very good. The upgrade to the vista dome train in Cusco and the upgrade to superior accommodations was well worth the money. Thanks Exoticca for the wonderful experience; we'll be booking through you again.

We visited France for 8 days with Exotica. This was an awesome trip very well organized with worth visiting sites in France. The organizers, team leader, guides and drivers were professional and did far and beyond job. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip! Would once again go with Exotica for another adventure!

I booked a vacation to Spain on August 1 through an agent. A few hours later, I realized there had been a clear miscommunication—unfortunately, by then the agency had closed for the weekend. I submitted an online inquiry requesting to speak with someone about the issue. Since then, I've received several emails stating that the team is "working on it," along with two messages from Rosemary in customer service. In her emails, she acknowledges that I misunderstood the package that was booked and explains the term "self-guided tour." However, on their website, there is a specific Spain package labeled "self-guided." During the booking call, I explicitly said I did not want a self-guided vacation. It seems this was misinterpreted as not wanting a self-guided tour within a larger itinerary, which is not the same thing. Despite this clear misunderstanding, Exoticca has stated that if I want to change the vacation package, I may do so—but I would forfeit my deposit. All I'm asking is to switch to a different package that includes the destinations we originally wanted, yet they have refused to accommodate this. This is my first time booking with Exoticca—it's also for my honeymoon—and the experience has been deeply disappointing. The package we ended up with only includes Madrid and Barcelona, excluding the other cities we were excited to visit. I feel let down by the service and regret trusting this important trip to the agent I spoke with.

When I tried to inquiry two different charges which is no clearly list on the web page for the trip to Egypt, Emily, the travel specialist, hanged me up in the middle of the conversation and never picked up my call back again. With the help of Peeno, I and ten of my people were able to finish the bookings. However, the phone waiting times are too long. Today I could not get through after 1 hour waiting as I would like to add to more people into the trip. Now I am still waiting while I am online already 30 minutes.

Last year I took a trip to Ireland with Exoticca and was given 3000 dollars of credit for future trips. This month I was advised by Exoticca that 1000 of the credit would expire on Julyc1st, but I could use 10 % of the credit on the cost of a new trip if I reserved by the end of June and that the credit would be applied to the new trip automatically. Yesterday (6/30/25) I made a reservation for a trip to Egypt but received no credit. When I called today to straighten out the problem. I was told that because I had made the new reservation using a different email account, I could not use any of the credit. But they were giving me a new 1000 dollar credit for 5% off future trips.!
Instead I asked the representative to cancel the new trip and have the 60% down payment returned to my credit card and the representative hung up
I don't expect to have further dealings with exoticca

This itinerary gave us a 360-degree Ecuadorian experience. We spent a good bit of time in the highlands but with each new stop there was so much to see. The volcanoes were absolutely stunning, and we were up close with this trip. The hotels/inns were exceptional. Edison, our local guide was so accommodating. He gave us an experience as he was so knowledgeable. Galapagos Islands is a must see and with our free day we took a trip to Isabela Island... an awesome experience. We saw so much wildlife. The food was delicious!

From the booking to the return flights this was an exceptional experience. The local guide made everything seem so seamless. The hotels were clean and comfortable. The Casa Hassan was truly a standout lodging experience. The transportation was comfortable with just the right amount of stops to make the long travel days enjoyable. All of the visit locations were stunning, and we believe it was truly a 360-degree Moroccan visit.
Fun and exciting trip. The accommodations were all good. Excursions and guides were amazing the only negative was not knowing the pick up time for my excursions and the food at Best Western in Jaco. I'll definitely use exoticca again.

Answer: I've done 4 trips with Exoticca just booked a 5 th. All excellent and amazing value for money The tour guides are excellent and the organisation of the trips is also excellent The trips are very busy often travelling for many hours each day and although amazing value for the price - don't expect 5 star hotels unless you upgrade to superior I would highly recommend

Answer: We travel to Portugal last year with exotica this is our fourth trip with them. We went to Greece, including the islands this past April and our best trip was the Cape Town Africa trip. There is no scam. Their tour guides are awesome in the countries
