Not Trustworthy

I paid for an event for my wife in June a month later and 2 hours before the show we see they cancelled the event for Covid as if they didn't know until that day. We then saw later that night they changed cancelled to postponed. At the end of September and many unanswered emails by Eventbrite and the promoter we get a message saying they would reschedule starting in July. Neither Eventbrite or the promoter will refund my money. They claim there is a NO REFUND POLICY. My counter to that is that is binding only if they had the event on the scheduled date and if they change it that policy is void as my schedule does work around theirs. It is now the last week of October and nothing. It is like a big joke to them. I bought her the most expensive seats in the house for her and two girlfriends so this was a lot of money. I am trying to file a lawsuit at this time and can't even get them to give me an address to have them served. I will never use their service again and will find the address and sue for triple damages. DO NOT deal with these thieves.

One of the worst organization with fake address in US. They are operating from India with bunch of scams in a tiny office. They demand money from the organizers for promoting the events and in return they cheat them without providing the money from selling the tickets on eventbrite website.

Frustrating and stressful!

Shocking. I bought 2 tickets that were post posed by 3months due to covid, Ok I thought, then post poned by 12mths which no long suits me as I will be away that time and I was also hoping to take a friend who is terminal. I contacted them and they declined my refund request. I stated See Tickets have offered me a refund for an event I booked with them, TUI have refunded me (All because UK Law says event companies must now offer a refund) This company doesn't abide by the law. I will never use them again. Contacting them is very hard.

I've been trying to get a refund for this event that was canceled. There was no notification and I can't get help with my $70 refund. Its not alot of money but its mine. I cant get any one on the phone no email reply. I ferl that your company just stole from me and most likely many others. I will never buy tickets using this service again. Horrible Horrible Experience!

Its the second time they have stitched me up and conded me on tickets, changed my date at last min and I can't make the date, and they won't refund me, basically because they're rubbish they're not selling enough tickets so keep changing dates, friends told me to avoid but did I listen, nope, but will never deal with this company again,

Would give no stars but won't let me

Ich habe über Eventbrite Tickets für eine Veranstaltung gebucht - diese wurde zum gebuchten Datum abgesagt und nicht durchgeführt.

Anstatt anstandslos zu erstatten wird auf einen angesetzten Ersatztermin ein gutes Jahr später verwiesen. Das wird von mir nicht akzeptiert und fällt auch aus rechtlicher Sicht unter "Unzumutbarkeit" und muss entsprechend nicht von mir akzeptiert werden.

Bei PayPal wurde ein Käuferschutz-Erstattungsantrag vorläufig abgelehnt mit der Begründung "die Dienstleistung wurde erbracht". Dies ist nachweislich falsch. Eventbrite legt somit bei PayPal augenscheinlich falsche Informationen vor um die Zahlung einzubehalten trotz nicht durchgeführtem Konzert.

Eventbrite verweist immer nur darauf ich solle den Veranstalter kontaktieren. Das habe ich bereits mit der ersten Message an Eventbrite ebenfalls über deren System getan. Darauf wurde nicht innerhalb von 7 Tagen geantwortet und auch nach über einem Monat habe ich hier keine Antwort vom Veranstalter erhalten.

Eventbrite hält nur hin und verweist auf den Veranstalter.

In einem Wort: Saftladen.

No refunds

I am big on reviews I'm the person that checks the reviews before I make a selection even though I know some people can be very petty and complain about little things but I go by the majority. I purchased tickets for a show on March 20 through #eventbrite the show was canceled due to COVID-19 and has not been rescheduled. #eventbrite Asked me to reach out to the organizer #parisjavon I reached out to the organizer through email and they are no longer available. So I reach back out to #eventbrite who responded by email saying "sorry for the inconvenience but there's nothing they can do" so I will no longer do business with either companies And I'm still asking where's my refund?

On the website they say NO Refunds, so buyer beware, They will refund if they cancel the event, so what they do is Just not cancel, The event I paid for was The Lights at Mesquite, I paid $85 for tickets in February, the event was on May 2nd.
I tried to contact them in April to see if the event was cancelled due to Corona Virus, Nothing, no information. Sent numerous emails, No reply.
So called pay-pal. They tell me because the event was not officially cancelled I cannot get a refund.The event just Did not happen, This is a way of scamming all those people out of their money, and pay-pal are giving me Zero help to get my money back.In their rules there has to be specific cancellation message for a refund to be issued, So they just didn't cancel officially, it just did not happen. SCAM SCAM SCAM. A company with Zero integrity, Don't go near Event brite again.

I have been left with a feeling of being raped out of my money $322+ just a totally feeling of being violated and left without a sense of being me. After months of being ignored and constantly reaching out sending emails only to get nothing. After I wanted to attend Boosie Bash for my birthday in March. Which was canceled by the governor of Louisiana rescheduled for April 18 2020 then postponed until on God only knows when now. But, I purchase my 2 Vip tickets in February and it's now June and I'm still left to pay a bill and I have nothing in return for my $322+ dollars. On top of that we the working people going through this COVID-19 pandemic now I gotta get up early in the morning only to go file for unemployment because of COVID-19. Is affecting everything and everyone in America right now and for eventbrite just to keep our hard working dollars is nothing more than a Dishonorable!

SCAMMERS

They sell tickets to events but then refuse to give refunds when the show is cancelled. They choose to act as a go between between artist and the audience and provide a buffer to protect the company scamming the general public.

Bunch of thieves

AVOID! SCAM ARTISTS! Bought tickets for an event in Austin. The city shut it down ( rightfully so) for Covid. It's been 2 months and still no refund, no email, no response at all. The event organizers say we need to contact Eventbrite, but can't. There is no phone number and no response from the email address we were given. They basically took everyone's money and ran. Will never buy tickets through these scam artists again.

I started a way to help Artists during ISO and Eventbrite without any communication deleted
An event where an Artist had reached well into the thousands and a much needed injection of money
2 days out from event draw for Painting I get emails after emails that the event was refunded
A conversation might have averted the drama that they have caused

Failure to deliver

Paid for an online event to Eventbrite, and e-tickets appeared correctly. However all log-on links to the event were NONFUNCTIONAL- Just asking me to buy tickets! In the ticket confirmation, email, same misroute to event. Tried to go on to email them, but once again around in a circle. No way to get assistance, to talk to the 'seller', etc. Have purchased Eventbrite tickets before, but never will again.

The event scheduled by Eventbrite was cancelled by their coordinator a couple weeks before the event. The event was to take place on March 13th. I was told by their event coordinator that I was to get a full refund.
After contacting Eventbrite over and over and over again, they have yet to acknowledge my inquiry. After trying for the last 5 weeks, I have still never gotten a refund.
They do however, continue to ask me how the Eventbrite customer experience was! I have yet to have even one of their staff members help me with this matter.
