I bought a class 3 hitch for my Rav4. The hitch itself is very solid, fit perfectly on the Rav. Literally my only issue is that it came scratched up, for me its no big deal, but I felt like the packaging was bare minimum. Some of the paint was scratched, only a small part of the hitch was wrapped to be protected. I hope they spare a couple extra pieces of cardboard wrapping for their hitches from now on.

The 70mm carriage bolts are shorter than I expected. I thought they'd be closer to 3 inches, as 70mm = 2.******* inches. They're closer to 2.5"
I ordered caliper rebuild kits, then changed the order to calipers when the kits would not arrive in time.

Upgraded 2004 4Runner with weight distributing trailer hitch. Removed rear bumper and valance assembly, existing hitch and tow loop/hook. Good thing I had a floor jack and jack stands which made installation easier. Needed to clean and oil existing threaded holes before installation. By removing tailpipe from hanger, bolts were fairly accessible. While everything lined up pretty good an impact wrench would've really helped. Instead I used a ratchet and sockets that were almost as old as me (70+)
Still trying to utilize existing 7 pin trailer plug by bending bracket back. Not sure it will work.
This job took over four hours even with my fabulous helper (my wife).
1987 trailer just got a new master cylinder for the hydraulic brakes, just test it today with a full load and it works beautifully
