Still waiting

I placed an order for Rhino racks because of the positive reviews. Was told by Amy at etrailer that it would ship UPS. It didn't. It would arrive on 2/1/24. It didn't. Then 2/6/24. It didn't. Now I'm told that they can't track it and to call back after 14 days to discuss a refund. Then recieved an email saying that I could reorder and pay extra for express shipping all without refunding or crediting me from the first order. I was also told by etrailer that over 20 other customers were calling about the same issue.

Going on a trip and paid for overnight delivery because I needed it now. 1 came 2 days later and 1 came 5 days later and they would not refund my delivery charge.

Poor customer service

This place is a joke with a bunch of employees who lie. Ordered a faucet from there website. They state a delivery date ( not estimated) and faucet never showed up. Had to buy a faucet from a different place. Now I'm fighting to get my refund and still don't have the faucet. I would never buy anything from this place ever again

Order a part on Dec 25th on Jan 4th after no tracking movement they refused to refund my money for an additional 14 days! Terrible customer service! Don't buy from them as they are horrible! Check bbb cases for yourself

I really appreciated Greg's reply. Though I did decide on the route where etrailer could not help me, the parts were the lowest cost if I did go a different route. I plan on making it a point to reciprocate by going to etrailer for my trailer parts in the future. They will eventually land a sale from me.

Getting clear, good & honest answers is rare in the trailer business.

Purchased a hitch for Nissan Leaf Can with poorly made parts. All of the support plates were oversized. These plates require a precise size to fit into the hole in the car's frame, so my hitch could not be installed. ETRAILER couldn't replace because there was a backorder of more than a month, with ni guaranteed shipping date. ETRAILER rep asked me what I'd like as compensation if waited for replacement, I asked for 20% discount. Rep said declined and then tried to play games, which was instantly frustrating.

Bad customer service

Order wrong Trailer tried to cancel with in a hour on line and by phone, could not cancel had to relabel and ship back and charged a 20% restock fee.

etrailer attempted to help this customer through the SmartCustomer Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

No price adjustments

I bought a Thule awning and 2 weeks later it's almost $100 cheaper. I could have purchased elsewhere for cheaper at the time but since I had a food experience with etrailer I bought It. I contacted them about a price adjustments and they don't do it. Pretty disappointing. Il probably buy elsewhere moving forward.

Be careful what you purchase from this company. The company seems on the outside to offer a good service. I ordered two items that were shipped on time and arrived intact. However, they do not offer free shipping.
But here is where you need to be careful. Etrailer shipped me two items that did not fit my vehicle even though the website claims it does. I wanted to return the items that were either defective or simply the wrong items. They fought me every step of the way. Finally, they accepted that I return the items but vowed that they would charge both shipping and a restocking fee.
AND they did. They deducted 35% from my purchased price even though the items were not compatible with my vehicle as promised on their website.
I will not be purchasing any more items from this company.

I returned an order that was misrepresented on their end. They withheld $120 from the return saying the package had been opened which, of course it had been... I was planning on using it until it became obvious that it was not the right item for my truck. I'm not sure how any of this is an error on my end. If I put in my vehicle information and their website shows this item in the return of the search, some little disclaimer at the bottom of the page that says this item may not fit my vehicle is not some free pass to skim money off every purchase. If you are going to show items that may or may not fit a vehicle then punishing people for making those orders and then opening the box to confirm that it does or does not fit... well, that is a buyer be ware situation. I'm trying my best here to make sure the buyer is VERY AWARE of what I can label as nothing less than a corporate scheme to defraud buyers. If I could give them minus 100 stars I would as I feel like this is the most deplorable behavior a company can engage in.

Ordered Timbren rear wheel suspension system. Item has been sitting for a solid week at USPS. Called Adam 5 times. (the guy who sends emails about their pleasure to serve me again) All he does is tell someone else to email me and assure me the item has shipped, and no return call. This is unfortunate, I have spend well over 2 grand on etrailer and they act like I should have paid more for shipping if I wanted it sooner. Plan on returning the item, as promptly as I received it...
