I needed specific parts to assemble my custom roof rack since I already had some parts on hand. Etrailer's recommendations were spot on and made it easy to find and build the custom order I needed.
Hitch looks great. Instruction sheet is terrible, but the video is all you need to install hitch. Rectangle plates with offset hole needed some grinding on offset side to align with threaded hole in frame. If your vehicle has lots of miles or in salty area, the threaded holes need to chased with a M12x1.25 tap to clear our rust. Tap is not easy to find at store, get one from Amazon.
I received the item awhile ago and finally found some time to install my tonneau cover but found a vital part broken so I am looking to have the price replaced so I can install the cover. Everything else seems ok but I won't know until I get new part and complete the install.
I only needed the remote but I had to order the service package to get the remote. I haven't tried the remote yet but I will submit a review when I use it.

Trailer hitch arrived with half of the hitch hanging out of the box. The hitch was scratched up because of this. Now I have a hitch for a new vehicle that will prematurely rust. That frustrating thing is you know e-trailer I'd aware of this issue and they have done nothing about it. There are pictures on their website showing damaged boxes. If they would have wrapped something around the hitch for protection the hitch would have arrived scratch free even with the second rate box. A few weeks prior a ordered a hitch for my sisters RAV4 and we had the same issue but the hitch wasn't scratched up. Two days ago we had rainfall. I now have rust on my tailer hitch. Shame is I feel the hitch itself is a good one. Disappointed. You would think if a person spends $375.00 on a hitch it could arrive scratch free.

My hitch arrived completely out of the packaging and with significant damage. I notified etrailer of the damage and a replacement ship was immediately sent out and UPS was sent out to pick up the damaged hitch. The replacement hitch was packaged more carefully and arrived without damage. I have already installed the hitch and am happy with it.
