I bought the Yakima fishing rod holder. They look good but they do not fit on my Yakima crossbar hd. I have a mid size truck with the Yakima truck racks on it. In the pictures it shows that this product would fit in the crossbar hd but apparently they do not. The crossbar hd is thicker than what the tall bolts of the fishing rod holder can clamp on, thus the reason for 2 stars. Bad advertising…do not look at the pictures

Finding and ordering on line was very easy. Shipping was on time

The item I was looking at had a November 2024 delivery. The same item with a different key was in stock.
Took a week to get that figured out. I can see where one might want an exact double but was never asked if that was a requirement. It would have saved some time and maybe a lost sale.

Very easy purchasing process. However, the delivery box had a hole in it when received and the hitch was scraped at that location, but it was a minor issue due to the age the car it was being installed on. Unfortunately, I needed to return it because receiving bolt holes in the car were too rusted to allow the hitch to be installed. Good return experience as well.

Got my order last week but was damaged by shipper. Looks like it was dragged up my driveway. Call Etrailer and they offered to send out another one right away. I declined if they would send touch up. She gave me a credit to buy paint from our home repair store. The only issue I had other than that was Dodge put the muffler directly in front of the bolt that I needed to access. I needed to remove the passenger side rear tire to be able to get to the 18mm bolt. The only other thing that I wish is that Curtis, the wiring kit maker, suggested that a fused power wire be installed under the van run with the brake line. They should have included split loom to protect the wire. I ended up easily running the wire back into the interior of the vehicle with the rear taillight wires, to the front of the vehicle, then back through the firewall with the ECU wires to the battery. That was a much better option than to run the power wire under the vehicle unprotected. Just a suggestion for an update to the Curtis wiring instructions or add 15ft of split loom at the cost of $1.50 to the $55.00 wiring harness.
