When we received the Thule bike rack and went to put it on our Subaru Outback, we realized that the pin on the side of the hitch wouldn't fit because the hitch receiver is within the bumper area. I suppose we will have to have a body shop cut the opening wider so we can use it on our Outback.

I contacted you before buying to make sure it would work for my trailer, and Daylon wrote me back right away to advise. I watched your install videos, and I was able to install it myself and it's fantastic!
Unfortunately the order came after we left for vacation. But I have no doubt it's a good product.
I suggest before installing check the mounting arms to insure they are straight. Sometimes, in shipping they get a little bent. Once they are straight, it fits like a glove.
Despite paying for expedited shipping the order was received a day later than what was provided as delivery date

I rodered a Blue Ox tow bar and a base plate for my new Jeep Sahara. Order was shipped the next day and I had it two days later. Had to call back for more parts for the base plate and the customer service rep was right on top of it and parts were shipped ASAP. Great customer service and pricing...
E trailer was great! Arived 3 days from order with standard shipping. Gmc acadia was a bugger! Mechanic had to remove 2 bumber cover suports to get hitch in. He said it was not something he would want to do in a driveway!
