I ordered brakes for my RV. Watched all the videos and decided on the Dexter manual adjust electric brakes. I did not order drums, as I felt the Dexter pre-greased drums/bearings were a bit over-priced and I was concerned about many reviews of brake customers, that stated the packaging was inadequate with items arriving damaged. I contacted etrailer with my concerns, asking if they had done anything specific to address the packing/shipping issues. The response was if you have concerns, you can phone in your order and ask for extra packing material. To me, this is unsatisfactory. There are enough complaints about this that etrailer needs to recognize there is a problem and address it. Brake parts are extremely heavy, yet delicate. They need to be properly packed to avoid in-transit damage, without the customer having to ask for it. If a customer receives damaged material, everyone loses. The customer is frustrated and must wait even longer for replacement parts, and etrailer loses by having to replace damaged parts. Eventually customers are lost. You can't just throw these items, in whatever box you have at the time, throw them on a truck, and ship them to the customer. My order arrived without damage, however the brake assembly boxes were place inside a larger box with no additional padding. I know how shipping companies handle freight, and I am surprised anything arrives undamaged.
I have not installed the brakes yet, so I can't really speak to the installation or fit, but I don't anticipate any problems.
We did get a little help from a mechanic to get around the frame bolts. Overall we are very happy with our purchase! I love that you can tip it down to get into your trunk as well.

Overall I am very pleased with the purchase of my CURT receiver for my truck. I found the etrailer website easy to use. My only complaint is the receiver hitch needs to be packaged better. When it arrived there were several large holes in the box, and the paint had be scratched off down to bare metal where the box had been torn.
I understand with something this heavy there could be damage to the shipping box, however, the receiver hitch could be wrapped in some sort of protective material.
