Ordering my Drawtite hitch for 2006 Honda Accord was quick and easy, price was right and the item was delivered quickly. But when I went to take the shipment from where it was dropped off (front porch) I noticed a section of the hitch end sticking out of box approximately 2-3 inches. This was disappointing. I opened the box to inspect the hitch. I was surprised that the item was not packaged in a more protective manner. There was no padding around the ends of hitch which likely caused it to punch out of the box during the shipping process. After inspection nothing appears too damaged except there is some paint that has chipped off exposing the bare metal. And nothing appears bent or out of alignment although I have not mounted the hitch to my vehicle yet. I'm hoping things mount correctly and that the receiver is square to my vehicle.

I ordered a pair of camper jacks a week or so ago. The speed in which i got my product was very nice but the condition it showed up in was unacceptable. The box was tore up and the jacks were clearly a repackage. The stickers containing warnings are so scratched up it was unreadable, the support legs were bent and the cable on one of the jacks has broken wires. The jacks function as intended but the state of the jacks is unacceptable.

Ordering, receiving, and assembling was, as always with etrailer, first rate. What frustrated me was that there was nothing in the ad that clarified that you can't use a locking pin to attach it to the receiver hitch like all other bike racks. A cable is what I'm resorting to, but thieves at trailheads can make short work of them. Very frustrating not to have known that going in.

I ordered on a Monday and live 2 hours from etrailer location and it didn't show up until the following Monday. The package was all beat up with an apology note from USPS

The receiver hitch fit perfectly. The issues I encountered installing were related to the age of the vehicle. Specifically, the threaded bolt hole in the frame had significant rust. I spent a lot of time with WD-40, a brush, and working the 1/2" bolt.

Product is good and hefty. Though, Descriptions don't describe how tight the press brake corners are or aren't in this case, this tongue is not tight broke, good for tubing not channel iron unless like grinding.

I have an older Yakima 4-bike bike rack, with a 1.25" stinger. My new vehicle has a 2" hitch, and therefore I bought a 2" to 1.25" adapter sleeve. However, this created a new problem. The old hitch pin is threaded for only a short section, which is not long enough to reach the through the sleeve adapter to the stinger. This replacement threaded hitch pin is threaded across about half its length, more than enough to reach the stinger. The hitch pin appears to be high-quality construction.
