The site its too heavy and slow.
This is such an improvement done by the DMV. We all know 99% of the DMV workers are extremely rude and the whole DMV experience is a nightmare. However, when things can be done online with such a nicer, to-the-point platform, I really appreciate the action they finally took.
One note:
For the convenience, I wouldn't mind paying extra, but the seems a bit unreasonable.
Registration 'fees' are very expensive already but service fees and convenience are the same 'fees' as described on the question mark and it kind of seems fishy for a government organization to ask for money in such way.
About my address on my registration though.
I have updated my address with the DMV and all my other documents related to the DMV.
However, they still send me the registration with my old address.
After having to submit another form which is rediculous by the way, I am told that they won't send me a new registration form with the 'updated address'... that means I'll always have a registration with my old address and wont be able to get a title/pink slip because of the false address on my registration. But of course, if I get pulled over buly the police by any chance, it's going to be a hassle and everything is just rediculous.
That being said and hope they will change that also, I'm all in for the new experience and Thank You very much for it. Please keep growing to make things like the registration address process and all other "updates" go smoother.
Helpful reminder a month ahead of due date.
I was a very good servica. Thank you
Very good
Service fees. Convenience fees are ridiculously high!~!
Not this time - thank you
Would liked to purchase 2 year, but total amount was confusing with so many add ons. Usually mail order every year, trying to keep up the times. HA
Por aquí me salió mucho más caro, ya que me llegó la renovación por sólo 36.00. No entiendo la diferencia de precio.
Easy, would have like to know my exact total
Great as always!
Great
I think the fees are high
SO QUICK AND EASY. FROM NOW ON THIS IS HOW I WILL RENEW MY REGISTRATION.
Bueno
Good
Very easy
I would actually like for my Florida State tax to be calculated for me. TBD kind of scares me a little.
Great service
THIS WAS MY ORIGINAL MESSAGE: My bill, I received via postal mail, says I owe $81.85 registration for one year, but this web site collected $29.40. I need you to contact me because I don't want to get into trouble! Thank you.
(I thought I was being UNDERcharged).
I survive on a fixed income, then I saw the total of $110. Plus change on my statement! I called to find out why, and what did eTags do? You reimbursed the $19.95 charge and apologized to ME (even though the error was on MY part for going to the incorrect web site!). You completely understood why I thought dmv.florida would be the Florida registration web site (when in fact their website name is "gorenew.com"). gorenew.com...I digress.
Thank you so very much for your kind understanding, your honesty, and your wonderful customer service. Sincerely, Kath
Answer: Hi Karl, yes, you can. If you are already an owner of the vehicle, you can order a duplicate or replacement title if you lost your original copy. If you need to transfer ownership into your name, you can also request a transfer of the title only without applying for a registration. We provide both of these services in Florida, California, and Pennsylvania. New York services will be online soon. Visit eTags.com to choose the state and service. If your vehicle is not currently registered in any of those state or you are not transferring that title to that state, you can still do the same service directly with the DMV in the state you are in. Thanks for your question and best of luck.
Answer: Hello Patricia, thanks for your question and our apologies on the delay in reply as we do not check this third party, independent website regularly. You certainly can order a duplicate Florida title on our website by visiting https://www.etags.com/app/fl/print-title. If you have any questions or need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us directly by phone or email were we promise to get back to you in a prompt time frame. Take Care and Drive Safely.
Answer: Hi John, thanks for your question. We currently offer renewal service online in California, Maryland, and Florida. You will be able to still use our service if your vehicle is registered in California or Florida. Please keep in mind that the DMV will require we collect the past due amount along with the fee to bring your tag current through the next year. If your vehicle is registered in Maryland, the MVA requires you renew in person if you are more than 6 months late so you will not be able to complete the order online with eTags. Let us know if you have any other questions.
Answer: Hi John, thanks for your question. If you would like to no longer receive emails from eTags, you can click on the "Unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of any email you received from us. We can also unsubscribe you if you would like to send us your order ID or tag number and name on the order. To unsubscribe from emails from separate parties such as SiteJabber or ShopperApproved, please use the unsubscribe link in their emails or contact them as they are not affiliated with eTags. We hope this information helps. Take Care and Drive Safely.
Answer: Hi Wilma, thank you for your message. We apologize for the delayed reply as this site (sitejabber.com) is not owned or operate by eTags and we do not monitor communications via this independent reviews website regularly. Our support team can respond to inquires within 24 hours if we are contacted directly by phone or email. On our website, both before and after and order is submitted for Florida registered vehicle, we itemized our service fees and we disclose that your state registration fee is to be determined (TBD). The Florida registration fee is not listed on the website becuase, since we are not the DMV, we have to send your plate information to a state licensed agency to calculate that amount and that is done offline. We do provide a resource before the order is placed that allow you to estimate the amount of your state registration fee and we also disclose on our website that we are not owned or operated by any government agency. We apologize if you missed that information prior to completing your order. Your registration was already renewed on 3/24/17 and this cannot be reversed with the state DMV. Your tags were already shipped to the address you provided us at the time you placed your order. Please contact our customer support team directly by phone or email and they will be able to assist you with any additional questions or concerns you may have.
Answer: Hi Kim, Thank you for letting us know. I am sorry you have not received your shipment. Please forward either your Order # or plate number and I will investigate and get back to you quickly. Kind regards, Cole
