I used the Etags online service to renew my Vehicle Registration. The process was easy and effortless. I received my Renewal in one week. This is a fantastic way to renew your Vehicle Registration in the comfort of your home.
I completely agree with everyone else. It is in a way a scam. You end up paying twice what they say at the initial transaction. I am disappointed that the DMV honors this transaction. Etags could have let us know how much it was going to cost to utilize their service. Unless you have money to throw away and are not prone to do it yourself or spend time at the DMV go ahead and waste your' money. I will never use it again. I can't afford it.

Easy Peesy way to renew your tags. Much better than waiting for your number to be called after driving around 3 times looking for a parking space.
I used this website to renew my registration. At check out my total was about $30 bucks. Very reasonable that's what I figured I was going to spend, 40 at most. Then I received the email with double the charge. They charge you for the registration and then they charge you their fees for processing it which is $30. The total cost for the renewal of my registration and their fees was almost $66. But at checkout they only showed me $30. I cancelled my transaction now I have to wait 5 to 10 business days to receive my money back. Don't be dumb like me go either to the DMV or use the DMV website. Very fraudulent website

While we do disclose our fees both before and after an order is placed and we disclose that your registration fee will be added to the amounts listed, we apologize if this was unclear to you. We are glad that you contacting us in time for your order to be canceled. In regards to your refund, you can contact your bank to expedite the process. It shouldn't take more than 3 days if that long with most financial institutions. Hope that helps and all the best to you.
FEEL as though scammed. I saw ETAG convenience fee... also strange that the total payment was not calculated BEFORE credit card accepted. I checked the tag fee did my math and thought it was about charge of dmv. Hope that another time I will be on top of things!
FLIP side... convenience YES! RESPONSE GOOD... but why pay almost $20 MORE for your tag?
