Because I clicked on the wrong site, you said that you would refund part of my fee. I appreciate that because it wasn't your fault, it was mine.
I do believe that the fee was way too much.
The next time I will be more careful & click on the DMV site.
Thanks, again
THIS IS BETTER THAN GOING TO THE DMV. MUCH FASTER
I have a month to receive the tags which is okay
EXCELENT
Very, convinient and fast, Thanks
Over fees
I think it is incredibly expensive to add a 24.95 fee to renew plus the registration fee. And why do you need to add 5.95 for shipping and another $35.00 for shipping and handling on a little sticker to mail? I had NO idea that I was paying over $80.00 to renew my registration until the transaction was complete. And I also had no idea that a third party company was being used for this service online. When I could have just mailed in, or stopped by the tax collectors office to do it for close to half the price. Total RIP OFF!
Unaware of fees involved!
Service was good as to the receipt of my tag. However the price charged to my credit card was not
The same as the receipt I printed out nor was the amount of the receipt equal to the price of the tag. Tag cost was $48:10 charges to my credit card were $80.00 plus two additional changes of
$2.95 and $!9.95 for a booklet I did not want, The website popup which appears when putting in www.goverenew is very deceiving. The expectation is that you are at a government website when you are not. I attempted to contact by phone but was cut off after pressing the indicated numbers to get the help needed. I subsequently canceled the credit card charge of $80.00 and am holding my tag until I am able to receive word from Etags rirect.
This is by far way better than the.gov page! It's faster and easier! But it's also more expensive.
Thank you
Good Service.
Tried to register Motorcycle and the form didn't/wouldn't take license plate number. Never knew there was a $24.95 charge or a $5.95 handling charge which basically is a stamp until receipt was received via e-mail. The site for e-tags is tied into the site for the County and is shown as Pinellas County then below in a different font is e-tags. This is a way of stealing from the consumer. You didn't do anything other than push a button to send to state. Very shody and near fraudulent business practices.
Very easy to follow and simple to fill out. I should report you to the Attorney General, the B.B.B., and contact Channel 8 on your side. I never went to your web site. How I ended up there from the DMV is beyond me. Your site never mentioned there would be a fee charged or the shipping and handling. I contacted the DMV when I noticed my credit card was invoiced $80 and they told me I didn't register through them; that was the first time I realized I had been switched to another web site without my knowledge. There should be laws against this.
They will charge you an enormous fee and the cost of the tag is twice what it would be by going to your county website. They are taking advantage of an unsuspecting public. Just saw a consumer warning on this site.
Quick and easy
If I had realized that it would cost so much, I would have driven to get the sticker and saved the $$.
I never ask to go to your site. You tell me i owe 33.00 for tag next day got email were you charge me 78.00 and no aswer as to why so you really dont wat my input.
Took me a minute or two find the correct link to the site
Answer: Hi Karl, yes, you can. If you are already an owner of the vehicle, you can order a duplicate or replacement title if you lost your original copy. If you need to transfer ownership into your name, you can also request a transfer of the title only without applying for a registration. We provide both of these services in Florida, California, and Pennsylvania. New York services will be online soon. Visit eTags.com to choose the state and service. If your vehicle is not currently registered in any of those state or you are not transferring that title to that state, you can still do the same service directly with the DMV in the state you are in. Thanks for your question and best of luck.
Answer: Hello Patricia, thanks for your question and our apologies on the delay in reply as we do not check this third party, independent website regularly. You certainly can order a duplicate Florida title on our website by visiting https://www.etags.com/app/fl/print-title. If you have any questions or need any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us directly by phone or email were we promise to get back to you in a prompt time frame. Take Care and Drive Safely.
Answer: Hi John, thanks for your question. We currently offer renewal service online in California, Maryland, and Florida. You will be able to still use our service if your vehicle is registered in California or Florida. Please keep in mind that the DMV will require we collect the past due amount along with the fee to bring your tag current through the next year. If your vehicle is registered in Maryland, the MVA requires you renew in person if you are more than 6 months late so you will not be able to complete the order online with eTags. Let us know if you have any other questions.
Answer: Hi John, thanks for your question. If you would like to no longer receive emails from eTags, you can click on the "Unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of any email you received from us. We can also unsubscribe you if you would like to send us your order ID or tag number and name on the order. To unsubscribe from emails from separate parties such as SiteJabber or ShopperApproved, please use the unsubscribe link in their emails or contact them as they are not affiliated with eTags. We hope this information helps. Take Care and Drive Safely.
Answer: Hi Wilma, thank you for your message. We apologize for the delayed reply as this site (sitejabber.com) is not owned or operate by eTags and we do not monitor communications via this independent reviews website regularly. Our support team can respond to inquires within 24 hours if we are contacted directly by phone or email. On our website, both before and after and order is submitted for Florida registered vehicle, we itemized our service fees and we disclose that your state registration fee is to be determined (TBD). The Florida registration fee is not listed on the website becuase, since we are not the DMV, we have to send your plate information to a state licensed agency to calculate that amount and that is done offline. We do provide a resource before the order is placed that allow you to estimate the amount of your state registration fee and we also disclose on our website that we are not owned or operated by any government agency. We apologize if you missed that information prior to completing your order. Your registration was already renewed on 3/24/17 and this cannot be reversed with the state DMV. Your tags were already shipped to the address you provided us at the time you placed your order. Please contact our customer support team directly by phone or email and they will be able to assist you with any additional questions or concerns you may have.
Answer: Hi Kim, Thank you for letting us know. I am sorry you have not received your shipment. Please forward either your Order # or plate number and I will investigate and get back to you quickly. Kind regards, Cole
