The company has garnered a mixed reputation, with some customers appreciating the affordability and ease of purchasing insurance policies. Positive feedback highlights prompt initial responses and the appeal of lower rates compared to traditional carriers. However, a significant number of reviews express frustration over inadequate customer service, including long delays in claims processing, lack of communication, and unresolved reimbursement issues. Many customers report feeling ignored and misled, leading to a pervasive sentiment of distrust. Overall, while the pricing is attractive, the company's execution and support appear to be major areas of concern.

Esurranty did everything they promised. They sent a loaner phone while my phone was repaired. Esurranty was quick to respond when I first told them of the damage as well. The repair was slower than anticipated, but that was not an issue since they had sent a loaner. I received the phone back and it's condition was as good as new. I highly recommend esurranty to anyone looking for cell phone insurance.
EASY TO BUY COMPLETE WARRANTY FOR MY SAMSUNG S8+ AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE.
NOW I CAN HAVE OEACE OF MIND NOT WORRING FOR ACCIDENTAL DAMAGEB OR FAILURE TO MY PHONE.
Thank you for being a valued eSURRANTY.com customer.
Fastest and cleanest way to insure your electronics. I have not used the claim process yet but I am sure it will be great too
Thank you for being a valued eSURRANTY.com customer.
I have used Esurranty to protect all my iPhones for the past 8 years. I have 3 with mine, my wife's and daughters. I have had to use the coverage 2 times and they were handled quickly and with no trouble. Thank you, Essurranty
Thank you for being a valued eSURRANTY.com customer.
Great so far, have not filed a claim, but so far, so good. Don't know actual service until I file a claim, so this may be updated.
Thank you for being a valued eSURRANTY.com customer.
I filed a claim for the Iphone I lost.
They asked me to provide couple of documents with notary. I did provide. They still want me to provide more documentation which could take weeks if not a month.
I got fed up with this process and bought an unlocked iPhone at the Apple Store.
When you file a claim, they play the delay tactics and ultimately make you exit and give up.
I cancelled my claim (btw there is a deductible amount of $286 which isn't cheap) and policy as well.
Total ripoff and fraudulent company. They didn't respond to my emails also. The person I worked with was Rick Lewis.
Readers, Do yourself a favor: just stay away
Claims are simple and much worth the money. They offer a great team to assist and assure perfect servive and assisstance

ESURRANTY is a RIP OFF! BUYER BEWARE! Yes, after purchasing what they refer to as "cell phone insurance" I got all the information on my "insurance" lol it is great until you actually file a claim and then the entire "company" is missing in action... save your time and money! I spend over $300 covering my iPhone in 2014, 2015 and 2016. I had my first claim in 2016 and that is when everything went to crap quickly, I still have a loaner phone, which I paid over $140 in August 2016. I never received a new phone from them. It is a joke of a "company." The only "representative" I ever spoke to was Angelo.
This policy was easy to set up. The website was customer friendly. The policy was a little difficult to understand.
I could not say anything bad about esrranty they are hand down the best trust worthy company. I have been in touch with the customer service multiple time and have not had a negative experience. They are by far the best company

This is a revised review for an initial review that I was reprimanded for because it was supposedly inflammatory. I stand corrected... ESurranty will pay (or credit) you $20.00 to write a review of their company and experience. As was stated to me most people don't make the effort to write if they're happy but of course will write if they're displeased or unhappy. My first experience with ESurranty was last year when my daughter's phone fell into a pool of water rendering it unusable. The process was unbelievably slow and painful! Because the person that handled my claim was very pleasant and tried to be as helpful as he could... I agreed to write something positive for the $20.00 credit so bear this in mind when you read those reviews! This year my daughter actually lost her phone which took us to a whole new level of frustration. I completed the paperwork and upon submission and review was charged by the company the $276.00 deductible I assumed that the phone had been shipped. 9 days later (5 business days) checked on line and saw that there was yet no approval by the underwriter. Rachel (who is the spokesperson for ESurranty) offered an explanation as to why they have to charge your credit card for the deductible ahead of time however... I'm extremely disturbed by the process and find it incredibly slow, painful and frustrating. I don't question the legitimacy of the company but honestly you can find a great IPhone on Swappa.com or eBay. Just look at your options before you buy a policy here... check the cost of your deductibles plus the cost of the policy. Again... I do believe the company is legitimate but know that it's a very very slow process and you'll have to set up a loaner phone while you wait... soooooo not worth the time, cost and energy expended.
I am sorry that your claim is not going as quickly as you would like. In reviewing your account notes it shows that the claim is pending underwriter approval. They have to validate and verify everything that you submit for the loss/theft claim and this is why we offer loaner iPhone's while the process is completed.
This is the second claim I have had with this company. The first time I lost my phone and it was rocket science to get them to replace it. Lots of hoops to jump through, many delays and time without a device. All in total, nearly 2 months without a phone. I now have a broken phone and they have basically stopped responding so I have no idea when I might be able to get my device replaced. Coming up on 3 weeks and no end in site.
Easy to use website I purchase and transfer my Samsung Galaxy S8 and the process was easy with no hassles you automatically get your policy number and you're able to download your documents for your insurance thank you for such an easy time for this insurance.
I could not get coverage from my cellular carrier because I brought my own device for activation. ESURRANTY provided coverage options at a reasonable rate for the length of coverage.
Set up was easy, available as a monthly payment, and everything seems great! I have not had to make a claim yet but everything is good so far and I have not had any issues.
OK I have four phones covered by Esurranty and finally had to make a claim on a iPhone 6S with a cracked screen. Needless to say the claims process is quite cumbersome. After filling out the claims application online you are taken to another page to download claim forms that have to be filled out again along with a copy of your ID and a form for payment and email them with your claim number. After emailing all of this redundant stuff I waited over 48 hours for my representative to email me back. He told me that they could ship me a loaner phone for a $ 99 deposit while my phone was repaired. I emailed back stating I didn't need a loaner. Still no word yet on how to get my phone repaired. I finally took the phone to Apple repair station and had it fix for $129. Esurranty said they would reimburse me. They still deducted $75 after taxes to my credit card. Esurranty advertise that they are fast. Hardly! I will see if they send me my money or not. Needless to say I'm not to satisfied with their services.
Will continue to do this until I do. As an update I reached out to Rick from another email and he responded immediately saying he had no idea what I was refering to and then never responded again once I provided all the information.
HELLLO MEAGAN! You have all the details
I provided all critical information to look up my claim And asked for contact information to resend. No response following commenting on my review...
I literally think this is a fake company.
I got a phone stolen and submitted a claim, got the claim processed and notarized same day. The initial respondent, rick lewis replied within seconds of an email. Was shocked by how quick the response time was.
I asked if I could go ahead and buy a replacement, he said it was fine to do so. From there I bought a new phone and then sent the receipt same night. Got a response that monday for a clearer image of the receipt. This was in February of 2017... After a few weeks from not hearing, I followed up. No response. Followed up again a few weeks later. Same response. I literally followed up weekly until March, when I recevied a response that they were sorry it slipped through the cracks and then Nothing again. There call in number goes straight to voicemail and have emailed each contact info available. There is not a way to get any human on the phone.
At this point, I want to take to a local news chanel and report as a fake business or take to my rental insurance company to help dispute. I literally don't know what to do.
DO NOT USE!
I was looking for phone insurance they provide same day service so I joined up! So far the service is great!
They are never available by phone and when you do get a reply to email they are useless to fix your problems. Their website is extremely convoluted... on one page is may show your expired and the next something else. Complete waste of money... stay away unless you don't care about good customer service.
Answer: I am sorry you are having an issue with your claim. You can contact the claims departments general mailbox at [email protected] and your concern will be forwarded to the claims department manager. Our claims department does not have a direct number but each claims representative has their own extension. They can choose to give that to customers, but they are not required to as it is the policy of our claims department and underwriting to converse with customers by email as it is more efficient. As I can not look at an open claim I can not give you any information about your claim. I can tell you from the past claims I have seen when there is a delay it is usually that the customer did not send in the proper documentation or there is an issue involving fraud. I am not saying that this is the case with you, but I am telling you what I have seen in the past as we have hundreds of claims per day and our claim completion/payout rate is over 93% which is 20% higher than the industry average.
Answer: No. esurranty.net was developed after a person not affiliated with the esurranty company attempted to register the domain. It was originally used only for esurance customers when esurranty had a contract with them. When esurranty cancelled that contract they kept the site operational to serve the leftover customers that didn't switch their accounts to esurranty.com.
Answer: The policy page for that device is here: https://www.esurranty.com/iphone-7-plus-insurance/ and yes our policy covers loss and theft. In regards to being cost effective, we advise that a 2 year plan is usually more cost effective as the price generally go down for the coverage after the 2nd year.
Answer: Thank you for contacting us. A policy under your name is listed as refunded in our system. In looking at the claim notes it shows that you were informed 03/13/2017 that the credit was returned to us so we resent it to your bank.
We are a mobile device service plan provider.
