Please beware before purchasing from this company. I got very excited and ordered 5 dresses. (I know, I know.) First of all the delivery took forever, but they do warn you about that. None of my dresses were customized, all standard sizes. The quality was very poor. Bunched up seams that look like they were sewn on a machine with bad tension. The seams were also not finished - it really did look homemade, and not in a good way. I sent all but one dress back. Then the fun really began. Took nearly two weeks to get to their Washington returns center. No acknowledgement even though UPS confirmed delivery. Trying to get the money back has been a nightmare. Compared to other companies that deliver/return/refund lickety-split, this company is awful. I will never order from them again and I will urge others to avoid.

I am SO happy with my orders. The dresses are excellent quality and equally excellent prices! The shipping was amazing. I ordered knowing there was a good chance it wouldn't arrive on time, but one order arrived early and the other only one day later than expected, which worked out fine for my needs. I have worn two of the dresses to events this week and have received many compliments to which I respond by showing them the eShakti app! And obviously, dresses with pockets. The best thing EVER.

I was pleasantly surprised! Will be ordering much more. I'm tall with long limbs so I'm always disappointed with standard sizing being too short. I can't believe the sleeves on my dress were long enough for my arms and the button down dress I ordered didn't pull at the buttons around the bust - IT'S A MIRACLE, haha. I've always dreamed of getting clothes tailored but figured it was out of my price range. Thank you for delivering early, that's always appreciated.

I love ordering from e-Shakti and have not had any issues receiving my order and, in one case, returning it. The quality of the fabric and sewing is very high and I've found the size chart to be pretty accurate. This is especially important for plus-sized shoppers like myself who worry about finding a wide range of sizes, and are used to poor quality. Now I'm able to get what I want and make adjustments to necklines, lengths, and sleeves, as I feel comfortable.

I order from eShakti all the time! I'm a bigger lady and its hard to find good clothing that fits well. Everything I have ordered from them has fit like a glove and flatters my figure. Plus - pretty much all of their dresses/skirts come with pockets.

Customer service is A+ as well - On a previous order I had ordered my dress for a wedding a little late. It wasn't going to get here on time, and I had my heart set on wearing this dress I had ordered. I sent them an email asking if there was any way to get my order sooner, and they were super nice about it. I even got my dress two days before I was due to travel.

I would recommend eShakti to anyone and everyone. (And I do!)

I believe you get what you pay for. The price point is perfect. Yes I can buy a dress at a local store for less however is designed with me in mind or am I able to make it exactly what I want, no. In 4 years I have had only 1 return and it wasn't my dress, it was a gift. That was handled with care and so I keep coming back because I am pleased! I want to keep it to myself because its my design secret but unfortunately I have had to share!

I have been a customer of eShakti for almost 5 years. I have placed place 4 or so orders a year each with 2-4 pieces. When I first started buying from them it was like I'd found the holy grail, every custom item fit perfectly and the fabric quality was excellent (I usually order at least one size down from standard their size chart as their clothes tend to have quite a lot of ease). However, over the years they have had ups and downs and are currently in the middle of a noticeable downturn. Over the last year or so I have had a cardigan arrive with fraying embroidery, dresses that were oddly proportioned, and customized necklines that looked nothing like the illustrations.
Most recently I ordered a few pieces for my upcoming wedding weekend. I chose the custom option for them all and none provided a good fit. The jacket, ordered to fit my tight-laced measurements, could easily be worn over a bulky sweater without any shape wear, the blouse is too large all over, comically so in the arms, and the "skinny" jeans can only be described as 90s mom jeans loose all over except the ankle which barely fit over my foot.
I'm genuinely worried I'll have to give up on one of my favorite shopping experiences!

Totally disappointing customer service via phone and the website--they could not answer my question/solve my issue and were completely snotty about it. Actually, I didn't even receive a response to my first online inquiry. Only the person monitoring the FB page responded quickly (actually MUCH quicker than I anticipated) and pleasantly. I wanted to like them because the concept is great, but if you can't even be pleasant to a first time customer--basically just saying "I'll cancel your order"--then I don't need to spend my money with them. Let's just say I had to contact the USPS about an issue the same day and THAT was more pleasant and expeditious than contacting this company!
