They took a week to verify the funds, despite me providing all requested proofs. That was through a verified Paypal account for $125! This resulted in me losing the deal with the other party. My many refund requests remained unanswered, and still, no refund has been processed this time. This looks like a big SCAM. Stay away from them.

The domain transfer started off a little rocky, but I take the blame for that. I was going to purchase a 2013 Toyota Yaris. After following the link on autotrader, I put in an offer of $3200 Canadian funds. I was unsure about escrow and decided to call your support team. I spoke to Terri, and forwarded her the email that I supposedly received by " escrow". Terri advised me that it was a fraudulent email as the international phone number, and hours of operations were wrong. Therefore she advised me that this was a scam. I am so disgusted with people trying to scam people like me, who work hard for my money and wanted to gift my child with a car. People like Amelia( seller) is what is wrong with this world.

Everything was set for my car to be picked up on a Sunday, funds wired to escrow.com's bank on Thursday were to arrive on Friday. I checked my bank Friday morning and was surprised to see that my wire was returned by escrow.com's bank. I spent hours on the phone and in chats with escrow.com and no one would take ownership or contact THEIR bank to see why funds were returned. I ended up being charged $65 for the wire and had to delay the truck for pickup by a week. Service was marginal at best. They kept blaming my bank however we proved the wire was sent accurately. I used a competing service and had no issues. Will never use escrow.com again.
Brilliant philosophy relatively simple process. The two things I would expect to change if any would be, if somebody has not used or purchased web store before make sure they are guided clearly and they are communicated with as much as possible. There was a point where I didn't know what I had to do nor was I guided to do that but asking for help got me the answers pretty quickly.
Secondly as a middle man between purchases I would expect more of a follow up on purchases maybe two months down the line. I say this because some people do not honour their words.
Example: I recently purchased a site that lasted no longer than two months, in the description section it stated that help could be offered post purchase. Did this happen. No. There was absolutely no willingness after purchase to help at all, to me this is like selling half of a product and sometimes is a reason why people make purchases. I'm sure that this is against the law. So the other thing I would change is to be more scrupulous against these individuals. Sellers should be rated. Escrow is a brilliant platform and did help me with a security issue regarding my purchase. Very grateful of.
Terri handled my unusual request like a true professional! I described my request as unusual because although the domain name transfer had occurred nearly a year ago, Terri quickly notified the buyer and processed the release of my escrowed funds in less than one hour.

I really enjoyed using escrow.com, it was very easy to use and I felt secure the whole time. They were there to answer any and all of my questions.
I am using Escrow for the first time and need some assistance. I called customer support and spoke to Max. Quick response, not hold time and I got the help I needed clearly and quick. Perhaps I am used to terrible customer service, but I was really pleased with how they took care of me.
The rep was very helpful to address my issue. He spend enough time for me with clear explanation. He did his best to answered all my questions and concern for my transaction in timely manner.
Overall the service is very helpful but there were several parts that I felt were confusing:
* at the point where I (the buyer) was to enter my registrar info, I could not do it on your site, instead I was supposed to email the information to concierge. There should be a very clear button on the transaction where I can enter this info
* The transaction was marker "complete" before it actually was totally completed. This concerned me as I had not yet received the domain name that I had purchased
* the chat help could not tell me where I was supposed to enter my registrar info - even after I sent them the page URL they asked me for screenshots. They seemed unfamiliar with the process.
* when I called customer service about the status of my transaction I was told that the people who could help me were in a meeting. This did not give me a great deal of confidence in the escrow team

Once the offer is accepted you can pay into the escrow account and then go to inspect the car. If everything is as expected you can release funds to the seller right there on the spot.
