Do not buy any cars etc from a CAMERON PAUL SMITH who uses Escrow.com to scam people. It is so unfair that there are people in the world like this, who have nothing better to do, but destroy other peoples lives. Shame on you. Don't use! This CAMERON SMITH claims to be part of RAAF in Tasmania and he has a fake pic of a Drivers Licence. PLEASE BEWARE, hopefully the authorities will be able to get him.
Their system requires you to give the a lot of very personal information and in the end has many issues.
My Drivers licence has nine numbers but they only accept 8 so it fails verification.
My Passport, likewise has 9 characters and they only accept 8 so once again it fails.
I sent photos (max resolution) of my licence but they rejected it because it needs to be bigger.
I sold an aircraft engine using escrow.com. Buyer was extremely professional, as was I, which is a must for these types of transactions. Escrow. Com's portion was flawless and the step in the process was always accurate on my account. Money was transferred to my account immediately after buyer sign-off.
While I have to admit there are some frustrations with escrow.com in there process, such as there is no tracking number for a vehicle shipment. Also both parties (seller and buyer) need to ensure that they are following the process correctly and escrow.com could be better at prompting the seller or buyer when information is needed or to proceed with the next step.
I would like to focus on the customer service rep who helped me yesterday ensure that the process was moving along. After several frustrating email attempts, I spoke with a gentleman in customer service who had the seller and buyer on the line simultaneously and was able to push the process through.
The transaction has not been completed. But after this latest communication I have a little more faith that it will proceed accordingly.

The dude I spoke with was very professional, attentive and knowledgeable. Wish I remembered the name. Had mistake with my email address when signing up, email support had a rude tone said I have to create another account. But the dudes I got t on phone helped me and verified my company account that was declined initially.

I used escrow.com to have peace of mind that I would get paid on time by a client. Instead if the client forgets to approve that work has been completed (and Escrow.com only send automated reminders for 1 week, then forget about it), they keep the money indefinitely.
With one payment Escrow.com refused to accept it because it didn't come from the client. It did, Escrow.com just got confused because they mistook the address of the bank for the name of the company sending the funds.
My client got an error message when they tried to login to confirm receipt of a service we'd provided, so couldn't send the approval. Escrow still won't release the funds even though it's been nearly a month and we had arranged a 2 week inspection period.
Their site is cumbersome and not at all user-friendly and seems designed to hold onto your money for as long as they possibly can.

When considering whether to use the DN Holding service as a seller, make sure you factor in the additional cost of transfers and finding a banking provider that Escrow.com approves of. Whether it's their systems/choice or the systems/choice of their banking partner to not accept TransferWise, Revolut or other legitimate banking organisations that offer low cost FX isn't clear. What is clear is that with the overall costs of receiving international wire transfers (USD to GBP in this case) once Escrow.com and the bank charges have been applied it cost $51 to receive the funds every month. So make sure your sales price factors in these costs.
