Today was the first time I used escrow and it was simply amazing how easy it was. Sure i had questions but the customer service was incredible! Hardly any waiting or wasting time talking to bots. And it was super personal, they even called me back to let me know it was approved!
The service provided to me by the customer agent Kana truly went above and beyond the expected. The help was professional and sincere. I recieved two calls back that put my mind at ease that everything was going as expected. I'm extremely happy and would recommend the service forward.

This was my first utilizing Escow.com. Their concierge service was above and beyond what I expected. Multiple employees communicated quickly and efficiently, making the transaction process smooth and painless. Should I require this type of service in the future, I will not hesitate to contact their team first!

Incredibly disorganized company that fails to be what an escrow is supposed to be: a neutral third-party to a transaction. At the end of the transaction, after both the seller and the buyer (me) gave a thumbs up, they started nitpicking details of the transaction that they didn't understand, and then delayed payment or transfer of vehicle title while they conduct an audit. Save yourself the headache and look for alternatives.
First time using Escrow.com and was having issues verifying account and understanding how to setup payments. Team was amazing all the times I called into customer support. Very short or no wait times. Worked with Diana V today a couple times and she helped her everything resolved and walked me through everything on the phone until everything was complete. Love you guys and will definitely continue to use and recommend in future.
I purchased a domain and assets using escrow as the agency to hold the items. This is the second time using them. Very happy with the service.
Used this service for a domain name sale. The process was very easy and the customer service was excellent with respect to getting questions answered.
If you are a European customer make sure that your bank accept USD Swift transfers.
It turned out my European bank did not support this so I had no way to receive the payment from Escrow. I ended up opening another Bank account, which was a lot of trouble.

I wish to say how grateful I am for Escrow.com's fantastic transaction system-- for it's clarity, security, professionalism, and responsiveness. Avoid this company if you can. They are have an absolutely terrible, robot-like customer service team who just refuse to offer any help or flexibility. I had a problem with my transaction and asked for my funds to be returned (that's the point of escrow right?).
However, they made it really really difficult for me to get my funds due to an issue with the way my bank sent them the money. There was no way I could resolve the problem and they had no interest in showing any flexibility and offered no helpful advice.
Basically, they didn't care whether I got my money back or not. Thankfully the bank was very helpful and came up with a workaround and eventually I did get my funds returned. However, this was no thanks to escrow.com and it was a very stressful process that took over a month.
The service Escrow.com provides when purchasing a vehicle online is valuable and the rates they charge are fair. If you are not 100% positive about the purchase you're making, use them or someone else that provides the same sorts of protection.
That said, Escrow.com does not represent how their service will affect your purchase process accurately. If you and the seller are not both fully enrolled in and have used the service before, plan on an extra 4 business days to initiate the purchase. They don't tell you this ahead of time, but there's no way around it. That's at the beginning of the purchase. At the end of the purchase they hold on to your money for at least 3 extra days before the buyer gets it. All of this is probably somewhere in the fine print but there won't be a mention of it when they're trying to get your business and once you agree it's too late to back out.
Again, it's a valuable service. Just plan on a lot of delays. A transaction that should take a day or two will take well over a week not counting transportation. I won't use them again because they fail to disclose all implications of using their service.

Not sure why eBay started using them, but it is a totally a way of tying up your money from a sale (guess they are getting interest, on top of there charges), they have no clue what an Auction is and want you to let customer have what they bought at auction """" BEFORE PAYING FOR IT """", been an eBay customer for 17 years, with a 100% rating selling many Classic Cars, and get paid at end of auction, as an auction should be, never had to release a car to ship across country before buyer pays for it and has to let them know to release the funds to you. What part of an auction don't they understand. I canceled my sell just because of Escrow.com as that's not the way to do business and all there doing is trying to play with your money and charge you for it.

Once the offer is accepted you can pay into the escrow account and then go to inspect the car. If everything is as expected you can release funds to the seller right there on the spot.
