The world's largest provider of online escrow services. Removing the risk from online transactions with our government licensed service since 1999.
Escrow.com garners mixed feedback from customers, highlighting both commendable service and significant concerns. Positive experiences often emphasize the professionalism and helpfulness of customer support, particularly during complex transactions, which many users found reassuring. However, a recurring theme in negative reviews points to frustrating delays in fund transfers and a lack of transparency regarding fees and processes. Customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of refunds and the perceived incompetence in managing transactions. Overall, while some users appreciate the service for its protective measures, others warn of potential complications and inefficiencies.

The process of selling a simple camper shell was unbelievably complex. The buyer and I (the seller) had already agreed on the deal; all they needed to do was serve as an escrow agent for the money until the camper was delivered. However, they never acknowledged receiving the buyer's funds, nor did they communicate that they needed additional information from the seller to proceed with the transaction. I had to call and find out where the transaction was in the process, only to be told that we need the title (well, its a camper shell, and it has no title, that is why I listed it as general merchandise for sale), then it was, do you have a VIN#? Yes, here is the VIN, but still no response. I called, and then it was we need a photo, okay here is a photo. Then we do not believe the VIN is accurate; here is a picture of the VIN plate on the camper with the VIN. Do you have a bill of sale? Well, yes, here is the bill of sale. Response: We will get back to you as we proceed. Crickets! I paid 249 dollars to be harassed, delayed, and use my time. Stay away from this service; use another one.
It was an easy communication and a positive experience.

Answer: Hi David, we've processed just over $3 billion in transactions to date, with transactions from $100 all the way up to over $10,000,000. In addition to our regular licensing requirements, I hope you'll take a moment to look at the customer testimonials on www.escrow.com
Answer: Hi Janine! Thanks for reaching out! As the largest online licensed and audited escrow operator, Escrow.com is your best choice for domain transfer transactions. Escrow.com safely holds or secures the Buyer's payment in a trust account until the entire transaction is complete. That way, Buyers can be confident that the domain will be registered in their name and Sellers can be sure they'll be paid. We also have the concierge service for domain transfers without content where the Seller needs not to wait for the Buyer to confirm receipt and full control of the domain as Escrow.com will essentially take care of that inspection in your behalf. The Seller will only need to transfer the domain to one of our secured registrar accounts and we can release the funds to them. On the Buyer's side, they don't need the inspect period to verify the domain because we will do that for them. Our concierge team will work directly with the Seller to transfer the domain to us so there's no need for the Buyer to stress with follow-ups about the domain transfer. As soon as we secure the payment, the Buyer only needs to advise us where they want the domain to be transferred to and we will take care of the rest. Our dedicated concierge specialists will assist you every step of the way. Feel free to leave your contact details and best time to call as we are happy to discuss with you further should you have other questions. Thanks!
Answer: Hi Milly, I'm not sure I'm understanding your question exactly but Escrow.com only displays bank information on our site and never via email. Check to make sure any emails you are receiving came [email protected].
Answer: Hi Doug, start by making an offer to the seller through the AutoTrader.ca's Secure Payment platform. Once the offer is accepted you can pay into the escrow account and then go to inspect the car. If everything is as expected you can release funds to the seller right there on the spot. Two quick tips: Always make sure emails about your transaction are coming from [email protected] email address, and make sure you log into Escrow.com to make sure you're sending funds to the correct account. Hope this helps!
