The world's largest provider of online escrow services. Removing the risk from online transactions with our government licensed service since 1999.
Escrow.com garners mixed feedback from customers, highlighting both commendable service and significant concerns. Positive experiences often emphasize the professionalism and helpfulness of customer support, particularly during complex transactions, which many users found reassuring. However, a recurring theme in negative reviews points to frustrating delays in fund transfers and a lack of transparency regarding fees and processes. Customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of refunds and the perceived incompetence in managing transactions. Overall, while some users appreciate the service for its protective measures, others warn of potential complications and inefficiencies.

Jay, Thank you for organizing this and for all your help.
I've got nothing to say but all good about escrow.com, thanks
You were very helpful and did a fantastic job, it's actually a 6 out of 5, I will definitely use Escrow.com again in the future
A smoother verification process could give a better experience for me
Identity verification is not very clear about the PO Box and verification of the proof of address which both has physical and PO Box
Very poor.
A couple of years ago I tried to buy through Escrow. It's a good idea poorly executed, so I gave up and sent the money through PayPal.
This week I figured they must have improved but NO!
Against my better judgement I uploaded an image of my drivers licence (I know! It's a very bad practice - security 101!).
They then asked me to very myself again, by typing in my drivers licence. This failed because their app only accepts 8 character drivers licences. Turns out, my licence is 6 so I failed.
So I then tried my medical card.
The page then crashed with one of those "we have crashed but our tech people will look at this.
I tried their chat. They said wait a couple of hours.
A couple of hours later I got the email saying my checks have failed, so try again.
Foolishly (shame on me) I tried again and guess what? Same outcome.
Now I have my licence uploaded and nothing to show for it. I feel really foolish for uploading to a public website but don't understand how everyone else is ok with this.
You guys have been awesome, especially Jay. Thank you guys for your continuous great communication and help

Because you understand the issue and helped me right away and I appreciate it
You've very quick to answer the phone and a good website
When I call support, I'm not on hold for a long time.
There is no time frame for end 2nd party to respond to transaction. Receiving end can wait indefinitely to "click" on accepted package. This can leave transaction open forever. Just like it did for me. Sold car, receiving end didnt "accept" car for months...
Great instructions and great service. You called back. Great.
Answer: Hi David, we've processed just over $3 billion in transactions to date, with transactions from $100 all the way up to over $10,000,000. In addition to our regular licensing requirements, I hope you'll take a moment to look at the customer testimonials on www.escrow.com
Answer: Hi Janine! Thanks for reaching out! As the largest online licensed and audited escrow operator, Escrow.com is your best choice for domain transfer transactions. Escrow.com safely holds or secures the Buyer's payment in a trust account until the entire transaction is complete. That way, Buyers can be confident that the domain will be registered in their name and Sellers can be sure they'll be paid. We also have the concierge service for domain transfers without content where the Seller needs not to wait for the Buyer to confirm receipt and full control of the domain as Escrow.com will essentially take care of that inspection in your behalf. The Seller will only need to transfer the domain to one of our secured registrar accounts and we can release the funds to them. On the Buyer's side, they don't need the inspect period to verify the domain because we will do that for them. Our concierge team will work directly with the Seller to transfer the domain to us so there's no need for the Buyer to stress with follow-ups about the domain transfer. As soon as we secure the payment, the Buyer only needs to advise us where they want the domain to be transferred to and we will take care of the rest. Our dedicated concierge specialists will assist you every step of the way. Feel free to leave your contact details and best time to call as we are happy to discuss with you further should you have other questions. Thanks!
Answer: Hi Milly, I'm not sure I'm understanding your question exactly but Escrow.com only displays bank information on our site and never via email. Check to make sure any emails you are receiving came [email protected].
Answer: Hi Doug, start by making an offer to the seller through the AutoTrader.ca's Secure Payment platform. Once the offer is accepted you can pay into the escrow account and then go to inspect the car. If everything is as expected you can release funds to the seller right there on the spot. Two quick tips: Always make sure emails about your transaction are coming from [email protected] email address, and make sure you log into Escrow.com to make sure you're sending funds to the correct account. Hope this helps!
