Terrible customer service
December 11, 2022

I tried to purchase a motorcycle on ebay - hadn't used escrow.com before. Funded the purchase with an ACH transaction. Seller could not find the title - so I had to cancel transaction. I've been trying for over a month to get my money back, no luck yet.

Not sure how they were going to pay the buyer at completion of the sale if they are unwilling to give me my own money back.

Update: I received a refund last Friday. This is after I filed complaints at the BBB and two license agencies. Escrow.com's letter response places the blame on me - since they said they tried several times to reach me. I disagree and had initially been to by customer service that the refund would automatically take place after the transaction was canceled. A talked to them many times by phone. The last time I called i repeatedly asked to have the case escalated, they refused. I told them I was going to contact the Better Business Bureau and the support representative told me to go ahead, which I did. - issue is now resolved.

I will be sending an email to the Seller regarding your cancellation request. If we do not hear from Seller within 24 hours, Escrow.com will begin the cancellation process and return of the funds to the account where the payment originally came from.
