The world's largest provider of online escrow services. Removing the risk from online transactions with our government licensed service since 1999.
Escrow.com garners mixed feedback from customers, highlighting both commendable service and significant concerns. Positive experiences often emphasize the professionalism and helpfulness of customer support, particularly during complex transactions, which many users found reassuring. However, a recurring theme in negative reviews points to frustrating delays in fund transfers and a lack of transparency regarding fees and processes. Customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of refunds and the perceived incompetence in managing transactions. Overall, while some users appreciate the service for its protective measures, others warn of potential complications and inefficiencies.

Prompt service, resolving an issue that was frustrating but you resolved it and I am very happy now, thank you
Had a transfer problem that needs urgent assistance and Raven helped with it.
Truly a terrible company
Truly a terrible company. Super poor communication. Zero continuity. Call and you will get an "agent" from overseas whose English is marginal and who knows nothing about your transaction and has no ability to do anything other than record your call. Call again and you'll get someone else. Over and over. Dealing with a cell phone company is a absolute delight compared to dealing with these people. They claim to have a office in San Francisco but dollars to donuts you'll never speak to anyone in the US. They hold the escrow and do almost nothing else. Zero. There is no opportunity to resolve any problems that might occur in a given transaction and if you are the buyer they will hold onto you/ or your clients funds for a VERY long time (months) before they will release it. It is truly like talking to a wall. You will never get a chance to speak to any "supervisor". Even written correspondence is not taken seriously or followed up upon. This is NOT a REAL ESCROW. Not even close. True they are cheap but you get what you pay for and my client didn't even get cheap service. DO NOT USE THEM UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE THAT THERE WILL BE NO WRINGLES IN YOUR TRANSACTION. IF THERE IS EVEN A SLIGHT WRINGLE YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY.

The buyer requested to use escrow.com and coordinated with them for a vehicle sale. The site was slightly confusing on what the seller needed to do. The buyer requested use of their title transfer service which provided the wrong address for mailing. The only address is a San Francisco address which is not a staffed office, but appears to be a empty office in a high rise. This appears to be a foreign controlled company. Any request for communication takes 24-72 hours for a response. In the end the buyer received the vehicle, escrow received the title, and the seller waited well past their stated release of fund hold date. (For transparency, I'm the seller and I have not received funds yet. Hence the review)
Recommendations: Skip their title service. They need to better communicate with users other than email.
Tried to use E.com for vehicle purchase. After receiving our funds, they complicated, stalled and delayed at every opportunity, maximizing their interest profit and charging us fees as well. Eventually demanded our funds back and will never use them again. Consumer beware of these predatory stall tacticians!
You addressed the issue in a polite and nice manner, thank you
Answer: Hi David, we've processed just over $3 billion in transactions to date, with transactions from $100 all the way up to over $10,000,000. In addition to our regular licensing requirements, I hope you'll take a moment to look at the customer testimonials on www.escrow.com
Answer: Hi Janine! Thanks for reaching out! As the largest online licensed and audited escrow operator, Escrow.com is your best choice for domain transfer transactions. Escrow.com safely holds or secures the Buyer's payment in a trust account until the entire transaction is complete. That way, Buyers can be confident that the domain will be registered in their name and Sellers can be sure they'll be paid. We also have the concierge service for domain transfers without content where the Seller needs not to wait for the Buyer to confirm receipt and full control of the domain as Escrow.com will essentially take care of that inspection in your behalf. The Seller will only need to transfer the domain to one of our secured registrar accounts and we can release the funds to them. On the Buyer's side, they don't need the inspect period to verify the domain because we will do that for them. Our concierge team will work directly with the Seller to transfer the domain to us so there's no need for the Buyer to stress with follow-ups about the domain transfer. As soon as we secure the payment, the Buyer only needs to advise us where they want the domain to be transferred to and we will take care of the rest. Our dedicated concierge specialists will assist you every step of the way. Feel free to leave your contact details and best time to call as we are happy to discuss with you further should you have other questions. Thanks!
Answer: Hi Milly, I'm not sure I'm understanding your question exactly but Escrow.com only displays bank information on our site and never via email. Check to make sure any emails you are receiving came [email protected].
Answer: Hi Doug, start by making an offer to the seller through the AutoTrader.ca's Secure Payment platform. Once the offer is accepted you can pay into the escrow account and then go to inspect the car. If everything is as expected you can release funds to the seller right there on the spot. Two quick tips: Always make sure emails about your transaction are coming from [email protected] email address, and make sure you log into Escrow.com to make sure you're sending funds to the correct account. Hope this helps!
