I bid online and won a plow
April 29, 2026

I bid online and won a plow. 2 items later the item I really wanted, a grain drill came up for bid. I bid once at 50 dollars and was prepared to go to 800 to 900 dollars. The page wouldn't reload and let me bid and I heard it sell for 130 dollars. If you are going to have internet bidding it has to work better. They said they were having a real bad time with the internet

Louis, thank you for your honest feedback and for winning the plow—congratulations there! We apologize for the difficulties during the grain drill bidding and are working hard to improve our online system’s reliability. Unfortunately, some sellers in rural areas only have internet that can be spotty at times, we will let them know.

Great experience with the program for the most part I mean I did get a machine. Auction was cover well the user interface became a little confusing jumping between screens from viewing the live auction to the next upcoming lots and back. For an additional 10% online bidding fee I would expect better.

There was a slight delay getting into the auction when it first went live. Worked well, once I figured out you had to click the unlock and how easy it was to bid.

I recently made a bid on equipment facts and got a text confirming that I won the bid. Only for me to call the partner site that uploaded the auction (Yoder and Frey auctioneers llc) and I was told the bid went to another bidder. It said I won - I'm confused!

I did reach out to equipmentfacts and they promised to follow up on the bid to find out what happened. I'm hoping to hear from them or the partner website to gain clarity on the turnout of things.

I bid on 3 lots during live auction, all it said was sale pending not that i had won the lots. I called EF and they told me i had won the lots and blamed the new software for the problem.

I won't bid online again
April 23, 2026

I won't bid online again. Equipment isn't represented very well and it's hard to know if they are running up your bid or not.

We truly value transparency and authentic representation, and your feedback helps us improve the bidding experience—please reach out to the seller directly to discuss the representation of the item as they are the seller of the item and are responsible for listing the condition of the item.

I was trying to multitask by working and listening/viewing an online auction. If I was working and not able to touch my phone before the screen locked, I would have to exit the live auction sections back to the catalog and then re-enter the live auction to re-enable my bidding button. I missed a couple of items that I didn't get refreshed in time for. Other than that everything went great.

Not what I expected
April 22, 2026

Not what I expected. Will not use again. I've been web auctioning for years... I usually use Proxibid or direct bidding when available. I wanted to look at other options.

So many allow for a maximum bid, and open the auction with a minimum bid or a nominal amount to start tge bidding. NOT the case here. My "maximum bid" was the opening bid. W. t. F.?

Not the auctions fault so I will absolutely follow through with the purchase. But in my opinion WHOLEHEARTEDLY unethical of EquipmentFacts.

This will be the one and only time I use your service

I was able to start bidding and then had my bidding deactivated after bidding on several lots. I called customer service who was able to get me approved for bidding, but then my account became disabled again and I was not able to bid on 75% of what I was interested in. Terrible experience.

I was watching items in 2 different rings and sometimes when I would switch from ring 1 to ring 2 it would not allow me to bid on items. There seemed to be a lag. At one point while trying to bid on items the audio for ring 1 was coming through on ring 2 and ring 2 was coming through ring 1. I was unable to bid on items I wanted to buy since I was hearing the audio on both at the same time and there was a lag in time and at one point the bidding button would not work. I have very good internet, so I believe it was your site. I will not use the site again.

Here is the criticism, the audio of the auctioneer was mumbled, I couldn't understand anything that he was saying. The communication with the auction company could have been better, did not receive replies for several questions that I had. Sure seemed like the auctioneer held my item open on the floor for an extended period trying to raise the floor bids closer to my max bid before he sold my item. Auctioneer said that I was on my own for loading my item and the buyers premium had no cap, which I found to be abnormal. When I tried to bid on attachments for my unit, Equipment facts locked my account, so I lost the opportunity to purchase those items. Other than that, all good. Wyatt has been a great help.

Won 1 of multiple items, when I tried to select how many I wanted, it would not work. Bid on other items but bid was apparently not accepted. This is the first time that I have done this from my iPhone, previously I used a computer. When I spoke with the auction people they told me to use Level program instead of equipment facts.

I do a lot of these auctions and honestly, your website is very hard to follow on a cell phone. It needs simpler operations on clear buttons the back arrows and some of the information is too close to the side where you cannot see it or use it.

Equipment Facts is a great bidding pllatform, it is easy to use no nonsense bidding and a great way to search for a specific item your intrested in. Be quick when your bidding some auctioneers will call an item sold when your still bidding. A good internet connection is crucial to prevent lag.

April 8, 2026
Updated review

Online bidding worked but the live video feed would stop working. Sometimes audio was intermittently working during the video. Would rather have a good solid audio feed with no video. However, better to deal with these technical hiccups at home in my pajamas, than stand outside in a windy field at 35 degrees for 6 hours.

Live auction with online bidding. Using my iPhone at home, the connection was generally good with online bidding blending well with onsite bidders. Live feed dropped a few times when unimportant items (to me) were being auctioned. Overall very pleased.

I viewed the item and did all my bidding online. I am 4 hours away from the auction site so I still need to make the trip to pick it up (my choice) but everything went flawlessly during the auction and would not hesitate to purchase through their auction service again. I called their office during the auction and while talking with the gentleman I found out that they do not do auctions with reserves which in my books says volumes so was good to hear!
