The company generally enjoys a positive reputation for its user-friendly online auction platform and efficient customer service, with many customers expressing satisfaction with their bidding experiences and prompt assistance when issues arise. However, several concerns have emerged, including frustrations with bid discrepancies, lack of acknowledgment for pre-bids, and occasional technical difficulties that hinder the bidding process. A bit complicated
February 26, 2025
Updated review

A bit complicated. After login I still have to follow many steps before bidding-lock your account-unlock your account- usually all other auctions after you enter the live auction a person can bid when a bidder sees it is the right moment to bid by clicking the bid now button (yours I still don't understand it "lock/unlock). In addition a bidder can not enter a bidding number like 125,115 or 300 instead it has to be the number the auctioneer decide what the bidding value has to be. In the future; If I can not attend an auction at the site the day of the auction I will not bid online.

There is very little details or description of the items up for bid. I know it would be very time consuming to give more details but it could make the difference in placing future bids. IE: does a tractor have a flat tire that had to be filled? How many hours? What year? The list could go on with leaky hydraulics, dead batteries that had to be jumped, etc...Bottom line; full discloser with integrity.
When bidding on a "big ticket" item as an online bidder, a reminder that the tax rate in Idabel is 10.25%. That could be a determining factor on what the highest bid a bidder might be willing to pay. It's like adding 15% to the winning bid; not including whatever the shipping fee will be.

Thanks for the feedback, we'll let the seller know. A good rule of thumb is to not bid if you din' have the information you need to make an informed decision.

You need to take more time on internet bidding because of the slow internet response I've been on several items I was way too late I did not delay my bid but as soon as I got the information I responded and it was too late it's not clear enough and precisely enough to make an accurate decision it definitely needs improvement

Thanks for the feedback! Unfortunately, slow internet speeds is largely outside of our control, further the auctioneer/ auction company decides how fast or how slow the auction is going to go.

Apparently there was a delay on my clicking the bid... The item was sold and I bid higher within a millisecond I think you have to look into that and make sure there's enough delay for the internet bidders to be competitive

My experience has been a fiasco
February 24, 2025

My experience has been a fiasco. I clicked to unlock bidding and I was entered as a buyer for some type of water truck. This was a total shock when i ended up being the winning bidder. I was in no way wanting to bid on this piece of equipment. I called immediately and reported the mistake and was told to contact auctioneer. This was no help, I was told that there wasn't anything that could be done and that they had heard every excuse in the world as to why this happens. I am not able to pay for this piece of equipment and have no idea what I will ended having to do with something that I have no interest in owning.

We appreciate the feedback. Unfortunately, all new bidders are subject to reverification due to the auto registration process we have. I believe there is a message and/or email sent to you that you would need to contact us to confirm a couple of pieces of account information. We also have customer service reps that contact bidders flagged for reverification. We appreciate your understanding!

Not good there is a buying prem. Some sales have buying prem and some don't. I bid on this one thinking there was none and now it's on the bill. Not impressed at all

Volume kept cutting out and I had to continually refresh the auction site to hear. I lost out on one lot because of it. Never had this happen with the other auction sites.

Thanks for the feedback. These are live simulcast on-site auctions, unfortunately they are sometimes subject to the local internet connection. We'll let the seller know to try to improve reception in the future.

Thanks for the feedback Keith. Our platform does have a one-time reverification for new bidders since we have an automated registration process. This allows us to verify all new bidders are legitimate. We appreciate your understanding.

I was not furnished with the round baler monitor on my purchase. It was late in the day and hectic. The baler had instructions wax crayon written on the baler cowling that the control monitor was in the office. I have informed Chalker's Auction of the circumstances and hope to have correct resolution.

Crenshaw auction…I had prebid on three items, rear tires and wheels, front tires and wheels and a set of forklifts. All for a JD tractor and loader. I won the rear tires and the fronts got a little too expensive for me so I let them go. My problem was, my prebid for the forks was $400 on Thursday for a Saturday auction. So, a bid for $100 was used to start the auction then my bid $200, again someone for $300 was used and then my prebid of $400. In my mind I had won the auction only to hear the auctioneer call a bidder number of an on site bidder. I've emailed them twice with no response. I know this isn't a big ticket item, but what if it were? The prebid wasn't acknowledged at all and that is not just wrong, but very aggravating.

It seems to me that you're bidding process is not able to keep up with the auctioneer as he would be asking for a price that was not even on the bid platform yet. I noticed this several times throughout the auction so it wasn't an isolated incident or a lull that we had went through.

Everything went well until the second day of the auction. I did the test bid and everything worked well until about 1/2 way through the sell I bid on something once them equipment facts disabled my bid button had to call in and was told it was some kind of thing that thought it was a fraudulent bid. Took a few minutes to get it resolved but I missed several items while it was being reset.
