These degenerate clowns and jokers and some cons installed throughout my house with high end carpet and tile in my two baths, kitchen, foyer, and laundry room. They needed to remove the toilet in the master bath to lay the ceramic floor tile and when they had finished they started to reinstall the toilet but had no new wax seal ring (always Needs replaced when removing toilet). The one installer followed me to our local hardware store to purchase a new one but seeing now I have a constant leak that flows under the new tile making it buckle and raise and sun floor is damaged too. Leaking in central air vent and God knows where else. Empire rep said neither they or manufacturer warranty is viable to fix or cover or replace the mistake they made. Well $#*!ing see about that you $#*!ing worthless pieces of lying cheats. Calling Attorney General and BBB. If they won't fix then I'll sue and will spend whatever it takes to make my point. Cut some of the laminated floor boards short. Did a shady repair job with a bad attitude. Empire scheduled many no show appointments to repair the shady repair job. Then completely stopped answering the phone.

They came out because of the 99. A room special. Warning: Closets are considered another room. I wanted the special. I decided against the closets and just doing the 3 secondary 12x12 bedrooms in my home. The cost with the 99. Per room sale came in at a little.over 2000... Do not do business with this company! So what you know now. Empire salesman are just that. I had my kitchen floor done just 7 months ago and now it's cracking. The big deal from the salesman was that it was a LIFETIME WARRANTY. I guess I should've Google'd the company before committing to a contract cause they don't know what lifetime mean. After only 7 months they're trying to charge me 120.00 just to come look at their faulty merchandise. RUN RUN RUN
Picked out "on sale" carpet for bed room & small tv room. Bedroom perfect square & only had to cove hardwood with carpet. Tv room they pulled old carpet & replaced. Charged me an unbelievable 2,305.30. I cannot sop thinking about this & feeling his is wrong. I must find out!
Our carpet was installed & ripped out twice... that's right, it took 3 tries to get it acceptable. Not great, but good enough. Plus we had two days in between where we were supposed to be on the schedule, but nobody showed up or called. The first installers (5 of them) raced in like tornadoes as soon as we opened the door. It was frightening the way they moved so quickly with our furniture and tore out the Old carpet like their butts were on fire! The job took 5 hours at top speed. They had been told it was a 3 hour job, and were scheduled to do another after ours! Nobody can do their best work at that speed. The seam in the middle of the living room was horrible and began to split days later. There's more, but you get the gist.

In this review I would like to vocalize my many concerns with Empire Flooring's customer service and quality of work. I had LVP flooring installed throughout the first floor of my home in January of 2023. There were 3 guys that installed the flooring and it took them about 10 hours to complete the project. The workers were talking very loudly the entire time even after I asked them to keep the noise level at a minimum because I work from home. So, if you do work from home like I do plan do it on a day you have off or be away from your home. I was also told that I would be receiving new baseboards, however that turned out to be a lie. After the installation was completed, I informed the workers that something looked incorrectly done near all the exterior doors. They informed me that everything was fine. After asking and viewing multiple people's LVP flooring, I noticed the quarter round wasn't cut properly, which has resulted in a tripping hazard for myself and my guests. I have called Empire over 12 times and they always tell me a manager will give me a call back, but it never happens. I am livid with the amount of money I invested in the flooring and to receive poor quality of work is a disgrace. I want to caution you from making the same mistake I did and allowing Empire to come into your home and install any flooring. I would encourage Empire to honor their commitment to their customers and at least follow up after installation. Unfortunately I would never recommend choosing empire flooring for anyone.

I had my LVP installed mid Nov and by Dec, I noticed some areas are starting to tent up and forming bubbles. Called customer service to put in a claim. After countless dialing with no answer and when I am able to reach someone, they give me the run arounds informing me they have to send someone out to reassess. It is now March and no resolution is being made with after multiple reassessment. The countless call to Customer service continues to still be ineffective. This is ridiculous and not to mentioned the job is $7K plus and yet issues is still not resolve. Clearly, they are quick to take your money but slow to no movement to get issues taken care of. Be aware and must do your research with this company!

In 2019 We purchased 4 rooms and hall of carpeting and padding. According to the salesman these were supposed to be some of their best products. A little over a year ripples formed in the master bedroom. According to the girl when I called it was out of warranty so I had to pay a $100. For a service call. Well each year since ripples have formed in the other rooms Now I will have to pay another $100 for them to come and stretch the carpet to get the ripples out I have bought a lot of carpet in my life and never had this problem before. For the price you pay someone should come and see why this is happening and fix it for free.I will never buy from them again.

Installers stacked our two big and heavy easy chairs on each other to get them out of the way. But this broke the back of the one underneath which we didn't find out until my wife sat in the chair and almost fell backwards to the floor. I have tried to speak to someone at customer service about this but always get told someone from the "office" will call me back. They never do. Now we have to buy a new chair.

We had work done by empire because of our remote location. No one else was interested. That should have been warning one.
After less than 2 years, carpet seams are showing (two old retired folks) from minimal traffic.
Flooring in bathroom was installed improperly and has become very noisy. Evidently they didn't remove the the old vinyl flooring before installing their product.

Called for an estimate, they came and never left me a detailed estimate just a price. No mention of measurements, type of carpeting or other important details. They wanted me to sign a contract right then. They say they will match any price but how do you compare pricing without an estimate! Called other companies and Empire was the most expensive even with their so-called numerous discounts. Do yourself a favor and stay away, there are plenty other honest companies out there! And cheaper!
Do not waste your time or money with empire. We only chose empire because of quick installation timelines compared to other installation companies. The prices were outrageous compared to most competing companies. The people they have coming out for quotes are not even inspecting areas to ensure they are ok for installation the next day. When the installer came to install there was never a mention of not being able to install the carpet properly. The carpet was installed so unevenly, and we had expressed we wanted a transition-less entry. We were told they would only come out to fix it if the flooring had transition pieces installed and were also told the installers probably should not have installed the carpet that day. Empire will not work with us to fix the issue they are only pointing fingers to the company that had installed my flooring. My daughter has cut her knee numerous times crawling over the gap they left between the flooring and carpet. I am appalled at how terrible their customer service is. This company does not care about the customer, only the money. We are asking for one simple room to be fixed, not an entire home and they still will not work with us and are requesting MORE MONEY to fix. This company is a joke.

Rep came to my home. I selected carpet and padding. The price quoted was $1983. I said it was too high.
Rep supposedly called his boss and got the price reduced to $1600. However, the electronic contract read $1983. I immediately canceled the contract. Beware of this company. I have read many bad reviews. Unfortunately, not before I first contacted them.

Had carpeting installed on November 19,2022. Was a nightmare from the beginning. Installers did not speak English. Paid for #8 padding and the installed #6. Carpeting had several defects and appeared substandard to sample that we picked. They demanded payment prior to installation. This should have been the 1st warning sign. Called the installers back same day as padding was so irregular that it bunched up to higher peak in areas and they had to replace large piece which is when we discovered they installed lower grade padding. Carpeting seam was so visible and poorly done we had to call again. Waited another week and another non-English installer came out and claimed it wasn't the seam but a defect in the carpeting. There are 2 distinct lines running the entire length of the carpeting parallel approximately 2-3 feet apart. Installer took pictures of this and padding issue and said someone would call next day. No call. I called and was told they knew nothing about it. Now have been waiting weeks for call. Then received an email asking for a picture. Took detailed video explaining issue and emailed. Never received a call back again. Called again and left message requesting a manager. Then received an email from same person requesting pictures with list of questions to be answered. These were all done by their installer and answered previously by us and their installer. They just keep making excused and expect us to do their work for them. They refuse to do anything about this. Now well into the holiday season and have to decorate around the defects and throw rugs all, over their so called carpeting. Please read all review, BBB complaints, etc before considering this company. They will take your money and refuse to stand behind their poor quality product.

1,200 dollars worth of carpet that would do shame to a mobile home. I was sold one carpet from a sample and the one they installed was NOT the quality carpet I purchased. They will make it right,... If I pay an additional 560.00. That is almost 1,700.00 for a 12x20 LR carpet with the crappiest pad known to man. The salesman NEVER sent a contract with the details of the sale to me via email as he promised. They sent a second salesman to look at this nasty carpet and he admitted it is a "low end" poor quality carpet. I am thinking of taking Empire to task with the BBB or NY State attorney general. This is nonsense

The agent who came out to my house forgot to tell me that my bed room door will have to be shaved because I had hard wood floors and I got carpeting. They told me read the contract that's fine but the agent should of told me prior even though he admitted he was wrong they still wanted to charge me $155.00 no thanks I got some one else who charged me fifty dollars. Then the installers nicked my wood columns then instead of sending some one out to look at the damage you have to do all the work and may be they'll reimburse you (the columns were brand new). My opinion the WORST company to work with.

The workers for Empire seem to need some training and some chemical stimulants. When making the appointment, I was told that my 9:00 to 11:00 appointment meant that the appointment was for 9:00 but that it could be delayed by another appointment. Wait. Aren't you trying to sell me something? Why wouldn't you be on time? So, of course I get an automated phone call at 9:25 stating that the consultant will be there in 35 minutes and then doesn't arrive until 10 minutes after that. The consultant lumbers in and proceeds to give me the WORST sales presentation ever. I think he was sick, but never mentioned it. I kept my distance. His "quote" for the 5 different floorings that I said I might be interested in was scrawled on a sheet of yellow paper. Couldn't even read his writing. Then came the push to commit that day. I had made clear that I was going to get other quotes. Even when he told me I could save hundreds if I signed today, I told him I wasn't interested because I wanted to get other quotes and make an informed decision. Then--without saying anything--he calls someone and does the "I'll ask my manager" game that car salespeople seem to like. The man on the phone offered another discount. When I asked if the discount only applied if I signed today, I received lots of double talk. In addition, they were both big on the price match guarantee, but when I asked how I could compare prices to illegible notes on a piece of paper, the consultant said he would email me screenshots of the quotes. He then asked me for my email, and I replied that I provided that in the initial phone call. He asked if I would recite it to him so that he wouldn't have to look it up! I think he must have gotten it wrong because I never did get the emails. Doesn't really matter, since I have no interest in doing business with this company,
