I didn't have any problems at all with Elena's models. The support was good and any problems I had were ironed out. I have made romantic friendships with two women on it and have spoken over the phone to at least one other lady. The women seem genuine and nice. The people who disparage the site either have some other sinister agenda or wouldn't get a date anywhere.

If you want a real rubbish site full of scammers or manufactured profiles try ‘Russia cupid' or ‘East Loves West‘. I found out the hard way after I wasted my hard earned cash!

I'm a young and good-looking guy and in elena's models only receive letters with offers from uglies, fat or very short (1'50-1'55 height) girls, being young and good-looking man in a site full of good-looking women. From good-looking women only receive eoi's (securely aren't in serious) and silly senseless messages.

Examples:

Message from ugly girl to me in EM:

"Hello Juan ¿how are you? Like your photos and what you've written about yourself in your profile - you seem to be a nice and interesting person. We could know each other better if you would like too".

Message from fat girl to me in EM:

"Hi Maybe we approach each other. I would be glad to talk with you!"

Other message from other fat girl in EM (1'71 height/82 Kg weight):

"Hello Juan! I am interested in your profile, and I'll be glad to get acquainted with you. What do you think, what is happiness? Everyone understands it differently. Until some time in my life the most... (continued)"

Message from a short girl (1'54 height):

"Hello! You look amazing on your photos! I want to know more about you!"

Now, message from a good-looking girl, medium height, cute and sexy:

"Hi) if all, that you wrote about yourself is true, then I am impressed)) it s really great! I love creative persons)"

-Great difference with other messages, it's an ironic message supposing that my profile is false only because it's interesting for her. Surprisingly, when ladies are unattractive decide believe me, when are pretty decline oportunity.

Other messages from good-looking girls:

"hey, how are u?"

"Hey from Ukraine) How is your life?"

"Hi) you have really nice photo."

") Hi)"

Great difference between letters from poor looking women and "letters" from good looking women?

I'm good looking and young guy in a site full of good looking and amazing women with some ugly or fat girls, where 99 % of men registered are uglier and older than me, and my profile only interest to ugly/overweight women for dating, and good looking/sexy women doesn't take it in account. So surprisingly as frustrating.

Of course Elena's Models is a legit site. I am African-American. I met a very young, sexy, beautiful blonde in Moscow through the site. We went on a real date. Not the fake ones you get schooled on at AnastasiaDate, UaDreams, HotRussianBrides, Veronikalove, etc. I have been to about four of the big scam sites. I have spent a few thousand and basically got ripped off. I am lucky though. I have heard of men losing much more than at these sites. The women at the site are real. But of course, there are scammers there. You just have to ignore them. Elenasmodels does not pay them, so sooner or later they ask for money. As for the negative reviews, use common sense. Some men don't like the mail order bride industry at all, so they make reviews of all the sites. But if you see a guy giving AnastasiaDate and UaDreams good reviews while giving Elena's Models bad reviews, it is bogus. The scam sites really hate Elena's Models because it is the most famous of the good sites. I stopped paying for Elena's Models long ago. But I can go back and check my account, email women I have talked to in the past and try to date women who are still looking... without paying a dime more.

So it is your choice. Spend 100 bucks or so at this site, or spend 4K at UaDreams or AnastasiaDate.

A women responded to me with a positive yes, she wants to communicate. So I sent a mail- this means I use one of my credits that let me communicate unlimited for 3 months, as often as I want no holds barred. Even share my personal contact details.

However after I sent a mail she did not respond so wasted my contact (about 2 bucks).

What surprised me was they automatically gave me back my credit after 30 days since she did not respond

Awesome! Didn't expect it but what a honest system

Big thumbs up for Elena's customer service approach - I copied their new policy from the website:
"If a woman responded positively to your Expression of Interest but hasn't opened your mails within 30 days, your gold contact will be re-installed, allowing you to connect with another lady. Platinum members enjoy unlimited contacts and downloads of email addresses and phone numbers"

There are plenty of good looking women on that site but you won't meet any of them. Just take a look at the testimonials. The women who men actually do meet are very average looking, far from the caliber of beauties advertised on that site. I'm not in any way putting down those women down at all, just an observation.

A lot of those good looking women are scammers or "plants" by Elena. You write to them for a while and then the correspondence bogs down to boring uninteresting details about the weather or some cultural thing that happens to be going on in their country at the time. The correspondence is no longer about a relationship or meeting in person or anything like that. So what happens is that I stop writing and they stop writing. Elena got her money and I got nothing. The old saying if it's too good to be true it probably is, definitely applies to Elena's Models.

I have been a member of Elena's Models for two months and after reading some of these negative reviews I cannot find in anyway anything genuine to the wild accusations they make. I actually double paid my membership by accident. I sent them a mail straight away and the lady at customer support responded same day and sent me a copy of the refund request for my credit card. Also my card was billed by "clickbank not Elena's Models so I also sent a support request to them also and they confirmed they have processed my refund.
The site works very well accept on my IPAD. However I have meet someone on the site and hopefully will move on soon with a trip to Russian soon.

This is a very good site! I have been with Elena's Models for almost 2 years now. I have met many wonderful women. And I have visited them in person. These women are real and they are looking for nice romantic gentleman that they are attracted to. Okay there are women who only want to scam you but if you are wise you will see through them and move on with your search. This review is much different than the first review I did on this site. That is because it is better.

Like most feel, at one time it was a respectable site. Not any more. The new site is absolutely terrible. Using my Mac, I cannot send emails vis their website. I wrote to the Help Desk and they said they would fix the problem. Nothing. Have also been the target of at least two scammers. I've had several women immediately send me their private email addresses, get one email and then they disappear. Not sure if it's a way of them collecting email addresses or not. Sure seems like it. Overall, I would not recommend the site. Not any more. Just another lousy site in my book. There are also a lot less women on the site now than say, five or six years ago.

EM is the best site for meeting and communicating with ladies for the money. I have been a member for 9 months and have communicated with a number of attractive, witty and funny ladies. I have never used the video function as most of the ladies will meet through Skype and/or give you their email addresses. It really is closest to Match.com in the US.

I was not really happy with the email function as EM had just revamped the website but currently it is functioning well even though it still is a little clunky. I traveled to Moscow
To meet one lady after we had corresponded for 4 months. It didn't work out but it was a wonderful experience and we remain friends. I had been on Anastasia and Alena but those sites really are full of scammers but if you are careful you can meet a nice lady but
You will spend a ton more.

Will you find you love, maybe yes, maybe not but this works for all dating sites.

Last week my account's password was changed for no reason and nobody bother to notify me either.

This week when I try to log into my account, it simply says "You have no permission to login. Please contact admin." I then contacted the customer service, and haven't receive any reply.

For your information, I haven't change the content of my profile, I never violate any of their rules, and there's absolutely no virus on my computer!

How can anybody trust a dating website/company like this?

I've read the previous comments, particularly the so called social experiment from the guy who registered fake profiles on the site. What's the point in doing this? I see no interest. If you really want to write a review about a website you need to actually USE it not just scratch the surface which is what this person did.

On Elena's Models the EOIs (expressions of interests) are just a small part of the whole thing.

What you get is actually a list of real girls whom you can meet (or not). I have met 7 girls from the website over a period of 4 years, from Russia Ukraine Belarus, and I married one of them who is looking like a model indeed. I have been to these countries a few times now and I go regularly to Moscow because that's where the family of my wife is. By the way Russia has evolved a lot, it's not a country full of crime and crooks. It's changed a lot since the first time I went there in 2009. (yes I was there to meet a girl from Elena's Model). You might want to have a look, I share my experience, give tips and tricks so that you can get the best results in the shortest possible time etc.

To summarize, I have to disagree with the negative reviews. There are other sites which are full of scammers, EM is not. Now I cannot guarantee that you won't find a gold digger who will marry you and run away with your money, but the same would apply to every girl in every country: you never know what's inside. My advice, check my description and story on my personal blog and decide for yourself.

- girls are real
- there are almost no scammers
- the cost is not very high, a gold membership is not very costly IMHO
- you can find (like me) someone who is educated, smart, well traveled, who speaks English AND is 11 years younger.
- I never had 1 problem with my account (credit card payment)
- I contacted the support team on various occasions and they were helpful.
