An update to my review dated 6/19/17.

This Saturday I'll marry the beautiful blond lady that I met on Elena's Models.

It has been much more difficult than I ever imagined going through the whole application and K-1 visa process. The hardest part was the waiting; not knowing clearly the USCIS review timetable. Once the application wad approved and finally sent to Moscow everything moved quickly. I made the trip to Russia for her interview, a quick four day sojourn, and the people at the US embassy couldn't have been nicer. She was nervous and I was relaxed. (While we waited we also visited each other and took a Christmas 2 week trip to Portugal.)

Now we watch '90 Day Fiancee' on TCL and wonder how much are they paying these people for all the drama.

This is just a note to all of you out there to say it can work. Don't give up on finding that someone special and on being happy.

Elena's Model, the site on its own is genuine and very authentic. The problem is on the women in the site. These women do not pay any money to subscribe in the site as it is free for only women. Also, these women have their personal boyfriends back home. For these reasons, they do not take the dating so serious, rather, most of them take it as playing a game to while away time. Make no mistake that Russian women are crazy about love and marriage. They want to see how super comfortable an American man is to shower them with goodies and green card. The women in this site are so proud, and do not waste time to get upset. They are typically the German and Russian empty ego.

I'm a member since some time. I met 2 women via the site, but they live in my country (Holland). Till now the step to meet a woman longdistance is to big, but who knows it might happen in the near future.
I guess every site can have fake profiles, as in my country too, as it happens on Tinder. Be smart and not a dumb $#*!. So the guys complaining, I guess you should check yourself, maybe you ware not carefull and who knows want to meet a 20-year old while you are 60. Come on.
Anyways, to the site. There are not as many new profiles as I would like, but there are new profiles every week and they seem legit. If they are not elenasmodels removes them rather quickly.
Why did it not work out with the 2 ladies in my country. With one I did not feel the connection, the other one maybe was to young and beattuful, she has many options in my country too.
Conclusion: Elenasmodels is a good site if you want to meet beautiful intelligent women. More and more I believe I should take it more seriouse and try a real membership (I paid to meet 1 member the other occasions), If I do, and meet someone, I will let you know :)

Like the plethora of other dating sites out there, you will have to cut your way through the fake profiles that are taking advantage of the platform to their own benefit, but they are generally fairly easy to spot.
That being said, this site DOES have LEGIT women who are genuinely interested in developing relationships. I spoke with at least two or three real legit women from here, exchanging personal contact information and talking with them for real on the phone or skype. After a while, I really hit it off with one of them and continued talking to her, every day. Eventually I set up a trip to meet her (in Russia) and things went amazingly well. We have met several more times and continue to talk every day. I for one feel very lucky. After two years of our long distance relationship (which neither of us ever thought would realistically work) we are going to get married this fall.
Tips for making this site work:
-Be honest about what you are looking for
-be communicative, and weed out the women you ask for money to use translation services or visa applications or whatever
-watch for the typical scam patterns from users (I'd say about 50% of the profiles are fake, the other 50% are real)
-don't rush into anything, talk to and really get to know your matches, exchange real life contact info. And find out about arranging a meeting. (go there first, don't offer to bring them to you)
I have honestly met the woman of my dreams from here, and I never expected her to be what she is, but here we are!

It's years that I'm registered on EM and not always as paying subscriber, mainly due a lack of guarantees about what are looking for women.

-Up-

- In my case EM has always been fast to track down and delete fake profiles, 2-3 against many other reals
- I was in doubt with a woman and the thinks she was saying. EM advised me to do not answer to her because didn't sound genuine, after few days her profile was deleted
- There a lot of women, it's pretty difficult do not find one that doesn't trigger your interest and I've talked with a lot of them

- Probably the worst downside of EM it's the fact that you do not have any guarantee that the women on this website, are looking for a relationship and this poses the question:

"why pay for a website that promote women that want a relationship when the website itself can not guarantee the real intentions of these women?

EM simply answered to me that they do their best but they can't read in women's minds. It's true they can't, however this is a business, men are your clients and you are selling them a product of which you can't guarantee the quality...

- EM in its policy allow women to register for free, this obviously guarantee to EM a constant cycle of new women on their website. If EM should start to ask a monthly fee, billed monthly to the women, something like $15-20 in proportion of the country where they live, this would filter a lot women who are there for mere curiosity than something else.
This would an another effort to improve the quality of the website.

- I've lost the count, I think that I have talked with at least 30 of them facing:

Extremely superficial women (send me expensive gifts and we will see)
Women who expect to be maintained
Women who were there just to have a look
Women who were there because were really looking for a partner

Ironically the best conversations I've had were with those women who were there just to have a look or a friendship.

Personal tips:

- As said above, you have to surf between women that are not there looking for a relationship. If you want to have some chance and filter such profiles, directly give up on all the ladies younger than 27. Drastic but efficient enough.

- Farthest she lives from you, the less chance you have that she really wants to leave her home

- If in her profile is not written "relationship", forget about her

- If in her profile is written "looking for a $#*! buddy", seriously, forget about her

- Deepest in the east she lives, from where you live, deeper will be the differences between you too, in the ways to act and thinks.

- Tons of divorced women with children. Sadly for children, most of them are just kids or babies. They are so many that this should make you think about with how much superficiality children are conceived.

Let me start by saying that I am nearly 50 years old and I have never had a girlfriend in my life. I have been on dating sites for 20 years and have never received the slightest bit of interest from the opposite sex.My whole life has been spent in the friend zone as far as women go although women generally do not like me or find me attractive. I recently joined this site after a recommendation from someone on Autistic dating and yet within 5 minutes of joining I had 15 messages from really beautiful women who were up to 25 years my junior.It seems unlikely to me that I could be so popular in such a short space of time unless of course that the women of Russia are all desperate or that it's a country without men. Therefore I can only conclude it's full of fake profiles or gold diggers looking for sugar daddies!

I can't understand so many hateful reviews against EM. If these persons have the same attitude against women they try to date, I guarantee they will scare away all women. I have met two women on EM. Got the Skype address and email in second letter, when I show interest and woman liked me. The first woman was not for me but the next woman I meeting soon in Moscow. We have talked many hours on Skype. We like each other. The relationship is real, not like the PPL relationship offered by most other Dating sites. I have been there. I will never do the virtual PPL dating more. EM is highly recommended.

The gentleman who wrote the review about his fiancee visa denial was absolutely correct! Elena's Models doesn't comply with IMBRA and it becomes a huge obstacle when it's time for you to apply for the fiancee visa. On top of that the company doesn't provide any assistance with the problem and simply ignores your E-mails when you contact them. The USCIS sent me an RFE asking for certain documents that Elena's Models was supposed to provide me with. They do not answer my E-mails and I'm stuck right now. They should not be allowed to do business in the US if they don't comply with the US law! I'm not the only one dealing with this problem. Online forums are full of similar cases when people can't get a visa approval because they met through this company.

Soon after you sign up for free membership at elenas you will be contacted by several attractive women. Then after paying for a membership they disappear. Obviously fakes set up by the site. Just read the profiles with some scrutiny and it will be obvious to you. Pretty women with 1-3 sentences in their personal message. These profiles are created by administration. Basically, bimbos writing fake profiles as fast as they can. You will also be contacted by real women that are the same type you can date in your own country. In other words don't go to this site with the expectation of getting something that you can't get at home. It won't happen. You will meet a few real women but i cannot recommend a site that is so dishonest. I mean really. They are very clever because they promote themselves as the only honest east west dating agency. But they can lie as good as any politician. And my heart goes out to the few real Eastern women on the site. It is not fair to them either.

July 2019. This is my final review of site. I maintain a 5 star rating. This site is the real deal and as far as I know the only payment site with real integrity. Slandering reviews on this site are all fake!

Starting as a greenhorn to international dating in 2016, I have now met 9 women from Elenasmodels (all Ukrainians). I can say that, in general, they are all pleasant to meet. I might continue with one of them. I am undecided. This brings me to the main challenge...

There are not enough women on site. You have to be lucky to meet the one and only. If you consider everything like geography, age preference, language, etc. then you will learn that there is scarce supply.

Given this I would say your best chance of success is to wait for the one and only. If she gives you tons of attention over time. Go and meet her. Going for multiple dates on same trip is also an option. But looking back, this is too easy. Everybody wants to wine and dine. Stay at home if you don't meet the one and only!

Go for platinum membership for a 3 month period. After this period you really should have results. There is no point in being online for longer. Not enough new profiles join. You have to take a really long break, like up to a year. Its easy to cancel membership renewal and you must take care not to get too hooked on site.

Some highlights from my previous reviews:

1. EM is real value for money. Fixed fee might seem high. But it is actually quite inexpensive if you do your research. Platinum is only $259 for three months.

2. You do not have to communicate on site. You can exchange information and communicate free on private social media, apps, webcam, etc.

3. Age difference is realistic on site. Up to 20 is possible in theory. Around 15 is rare. Around 10 i completely realistic. Up to 10 you will have many options.

4. Site is close to scam free. But a site can not control peoples true intentions! If they identify a scammer they will be removed right away. I tried it!

The site does work. Most of the women are real and they do a good job of identifying scammers. You must have realistic expectations however. If on a scale of 1-10 you are a 3 and an 11who is 30 years younger than you tells you she thinks your hot it's a scam. There are sketchy people on all sites. The scammers want money. And time is money. If you never give money you will never be scammed. They will not waste time on you and move on to an easier target. The problem is that USCIS thinks Elena's models is an IMBRA and they have structured their business to take advantage of loopholes to declare that they are not an IMBRA. They do not comply with IMBRA law and are not required to comply. However Elena's models does not approve visas the US consulate does and they say it's an IMBRA and will deny the visa. Whether the site is or is not is irrelevant. The usa government thinks it is and they have not addressed it. I'm writing this review from Russia. My fiancée visa was denied at the interview yesterday.

The women on Elenas models are all too real, and this is a big problem. Trust me, I married a girl from Kaliningrad, Russia, that I met on Elenasmodels. Shortly after the marriage she started to abuse me and use me as a 'walking wallet'. What ever I did was not particularly appreciated and my ego came under sustained attack. She showed less and less concern about my welfare and what I needed from the relationship. She basically stole my dignity (my family came interstate to attend the wedding) and my money (she's driving a car that I'm still paying off). We're now separated. She was a truly manipulative individual and very charming and skillful one at that. Absolutely terrible decision marrying this girl. This person has ruined my life for the time being. She is trying to stay in Australia under an 'abusive husband' rule which is an absolute lie, but just shows the depths to which she has gone to stay in Australia. Watch out guys!

I met a woman from Moscow on this site. She actually took a train from St Petersburg all the way to Moscow and waited for me at the airport for 5 hours.

She never asked me for anything and even gave me a present. All I did was pay for the hotel. She showed me around and was close to me (kissing, making out, holding hands, etc). She had a facebook, vk, and instagram account that I found to make sure she was real. She wanted to talk on skype EVERY DAY for 1 HOUR. It was hard because of the timezone difference, but then again, it showed she was serious.

I think it is worth stating that I am 35, from the USA, and own my own business. Your mileage may vary depending on your own circumstances.
