Very happy to have discovered Electric Bargain Store. My kitchen ceiling insert lamp died way prematurely and they had an exact matching model. Installation was quick and easy, and the kitchen looks as it should once again. I will keep EBS in mind for when the next one goes!
Found online, no recommendations. So I was a little nervous but I needed new smoke detectors and a new CO detector and being disabled and not driving, I don't go out much. So I ordered them here and they were delivered within a couple days and installed by a fire fighter. The products were reasonably priced. The shipping was a little on the higher side but all together it was still a good deal. I can't really rate the products themselves but the fireman who installed them didn't say they were no good so I'm going to go with they're ok! The smoke detectors were the same brand as the ones that were already there and the CO detector was Kidde. There was no CO detector in the home when I bought it so I bought one then and also replaced that with the same kind.
Purchased Kidde Smoke Alarm kits to replace existing Firex Alarms. Kit included Firex to Kidde wiring harness with connectors. Decided to hardwire instead. This company will not take these parts back for refund or credit. I've got about $75 worth of new parts that I'll have to eat the cost. What a rip off.
I received the smoke alarm and adapter. I was able to replace the old one. I am happy I was able to locate your company. I am glad your company listed to replace my old smoke alarm.

Purchased wrong product, they carry same product, but to exchange it has to be within 14 days of postmark (I was 2 days past), pay for return shipping (understandable), but than have to pay a 25% restocking fee. And the return has to be examined first and approved. I realize my mistake immediately, but just couldn't exchange for same product, same price, but different model. Not worth it to return and repurchase what I really need. Will not buy from, or recommend this company.
The address on the ship address was in order. The order was stuck in Richmond for over 2 weeks. I called to find out what the problem was and told them the correct address. 2 weeks later I finally got it. I had to call to tell them it was stuck Richmond Post office.
Seller communication was great. The alarms come with everything needed to install

I order 6 and received confirmation of the order. Then did not hear anything for weeks. Followed up and it appears my order is stuck somewhere in CA. When I enquired again they that if the "status" hasn't changed by next week to contact them and they would find another solution. I waited and still the status is the same so I contacted them again and asked if I could cancel the offer. I received a link to this survey instead of a response.
I ordered I4618 which were supposed to be 9 volt battery with front loading batteries. Also, these were supposed to have electrical adapters so I wouldn't have to re-wire them. Check my original order and you will see. Instead, they sent me a totally smoke detector with two double A batteries and adapters that don't match up. Lastly, no one contacted me about this switch out of my order. Service Rep explained the product I wanted was out of stock and no longer available. All I asked for was a minor price adjustment because I had to rewire them at added trouble and expense and they were not what they advertised and ordered. Definitely a case of "bait and switch". If no restitution is made I will be contacting the BBB and negative reviewa will be posted online.
Reasonably prompt delivery but the item was not exactly what I ordered. The LED light module was to replace one that went out and I just wanted to swap the light and not have to rewire it. The new unit was a close match but did not quite plug into the old adapter so I had to rewire after all.
The fixture that I wanted was discontinued but the one suggested is perfect!
Needed to replace 20 yr old smoke detectors. You had just what I needed. Fuss-free ordering, delivered in a few days. Install straight forward. I like the way EBS kept me informed and updated on order status. I would order from these folks again.

Placed the order for the wrong color. Immediately called cs and told them to change to white. They still shipped wrong color and white and charged me for both. Tried to return both as white didn't fit and obviously got wrong color. Only got one ra number for wrong color sent that back and have yet to receive credit even though cost me $28 to ship back. Ebs sucks at cs and that is being nice.
The light I ordered arrived in a timely manner. It was used to illuminate my driveway as additional security lighting. The light was bright and easy to install.
I received my order very quickly. Everything went smoothly.
