TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OPENED PRODUCT SHIPPED.
I was told the way that I received the alarm is how they're all delivered.
I bought the same brand alarm 10 years ago, and it was new and unopened.
I felt like they were not being truthful and didn't want to help me.
In 3/2026 I ordered 2 of these to replace a damaged similar light & 1 additional light. Both lights arrived earlier than promised in great shape. Both lights are installled and functioning.
I previously ordered 2 of these lights in 2017 with the same excellent results. I'll continue using the Electric Bargain Store for future orders.
I know nothing about changing out a faulty smoke alarm. The website was helpful because it mentioned an add-on wire connector adapter I did not know I needed. I was able to install the smoke detector with the wire adaptor in under 5 minutes. Grateful the adaptor was mentioned on the website!

Very happy to have discovered Electric Bargain Store. My kitchen ceiling insert lamp died way prematurely and they had an exact matching model. Installation was quick and easy, and the kitchen looks as it should once again. I will keep EBS in mind for when the next one goes!
Found online, no recommendations. So I was a little nervous but I needed new smoke detectors and a new CO detector and being disabled and not driving, I don't go out much. So I ordered them here and they were delivered within a couple days and installed by a fire fighter. The products were reasonably priced. The shipping was a little on the higher side but all together it was still a good deal. I can't really rate the products themselves but the fireman who installed them didn't say they were no good so I'm going to go with they're ok! The smoke detectors were the same brand as the ones that were already there and the CO detector was Kidde. There was no CO detector in the home when I bought it so I bought one then and also replaced that with the same kind.
Purchased Kidde Smoke Alarm kits to replace existing Firex Alarms. Kit included Firex to Kidde wiring harness with connectors. Decided to hardwire instead. This company will not take these parts back for refund or credit. I've got about $75 worth of new parts that I'll have to eat the cost. What a rip off.
