The smoke detectors in my home were difficult to replace the batteries but with your product, the battery replacement is located in the front/outside of the detector which is so user friendly. I am pleased!

I needed to replace my Firex smoke detectors after my old ones (dated 11/99) started malfunctioning. I found your company online, liked the price, and liked the idea of having conversion kits for the newer model alarms. I needed a total of seven, and I ordered two to see if I liked them. When I opened the box I saw two alarms but no converter/adapters for them. I opened the alarm box and found the new outlet plug, so I just hardwired the new one in. When I took the second alarm out of the box, I found two adapters, hidden under the boxes.
Since I could never make a mistake or be wrong, I blame you guys. (Not really.)
On my next order of four more, I found the adapters loose in the box, since I knew to look for them this time. When I ordered my seventh and last one, the adapter was taped to the box.
As I said, the mistake was mine. But I think that taping the adapter to the box, or having them in an envelope and not loose in the box, would have prevented that mistake, and would also avoid problems or complaints from users who can't or won't hardwire the new ones in.
All in all, I give your company a 4.9 out of 5 stars.
