I believe it's my duty to the rest of the people to review this company. I got First Class treatment here. I even got follow up calls. They said it was their way of improving customer experience. I appreciate your kindness and it was a pleasure doing business you.
I can only say positive things about EJ Gift Cards. All transactions went smoothly. This is all I can say. Thanks.
FRAUD!
FRAUD! STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE!
Bought a Victoria Secret card with face value $229.01 at $183.21. Sounds like a good deal. But when I tried to use it, it has ZERO balance! So I spent $183 and got ZERO back. Lost complete $183.21 I wrote an email to the support team many times but haven't got any responses yet. Called company directly at *******862 left many messages, never called me back...
I will file a claim with my credit card company as soon as the payment is posted. I believe.
Made the order last night for a $15 iTunes card and in less than 5 minutes I had the code. The price was average. I'd buy more.
I have had a much different experience from what I'm seeing on these other reviews. I sold EJ Gift Cards a $75 Lowe's gift card. The whole process was okay and quite fast.
I would first of all like to say that their website looks great. It's easy to navigate. I just sold them a $50 gift card for about $44. I like this company.
Everything went as expected. No glitch. I'm satisfied with the service I received. Thanks EJ Gift Cards.
I have a few cards which had no money or much less than what I purchased them for. I reported it to the company and got a response on only some of the items. After multiple calls to their customer service number, some-one finally answered (I always left messages to have my calls returned, but they never were), and I was told my refunds would be processed within two weeks. That was months ago; I have never received my refunds (I'm owed about $200 in total); and I have not been able to contact a living person again.
My gift card had a slight problem. I couldn't redeem it. I reached out to EJ Gift Cards and they addressed the issue. Easy.
I filed a criminal complaint online against these thieves and you can too. Complaint.ic3.gov. They stole $50 from a roadhouse gift card after telling me via email that they'd initiated a payment to my PayPal account. If you're a victim I urge you to file a complaint as well.
I'm not sure what these other reviews are taking about but I had an amazing experience with EJ Gift Cards. I sold them a card, got my money and moved on. Simple and straight forward. I'll do business with you in future. Definitely.
Buyer BEWARE... BIG SCAM I bought Gift Cards from EJ Giftcards and the numbers and pins were invalid...
Sent many emails, no reply. Now disputing charges with credit card company.
Called company directly at *******862 left many messages, never called me back... RUN AWAY FROM THIS ONE.
They are a scam operation. I don't understand how they have not been shutdown. I bought a Southwest gift card. The card was initially accepted, but then a couple of days later rejected by Southwest as fraudulent. I have emailed, submitted forms, left voice mails and two months later EJ have not refunded me or replaced the card (despite sending an initial response that a refund would be issued). I have of course engaged my credit card company BUT DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE, THEY ARE SIMPLY THIEVES.
I purchased an American Airlines gift card for a decent deal. $800 for a $950 gift card. The flight I was buying was super expensive so I was trying to cut some costs. BAD IDEA! I checked the gift card right away on the AA site. VOID. The damn gift card was voided! I called EJ Gift Cards, voice mail each time. My bank even tried calling and couldn't reach a person. I emailed them. No response. I cancelled my debit card immediately and made a dispute with the bank. Thankfully my bank will credit my account in 10 days. I was furious! This happened on Thurs, May 2,2019. Do not do business with these folks!
Purchased a $37.44 Bath and Body Works gift card. When the gift card arrived I checked the balance. The gift card had a $14.41 balance. Immediately contacted EJ Gift Cards. Two days went by and no response. I contacted Citi Bank, my credit card company. The next day I had a credit to my credit card account. Stay away, far Away from EJ Gift Cards. The company is a scam. BBB rating is an "F".
Bought a $50 retail gift card that had $0 value when I received it. EJ's customer service is non-existent. Turns out the card was used 5 days before I bought it. After I complained a different gift card I had purchased suddenly had zero balance. I have dealt with numerous gift card companies of this type and while I have an occasional problem, I have never dealt with a company worse than this one. One star is way too high!
Bought an itunes gift card and I got an error message saying the code has been redeemed. Do not waste your time with this company. Will contact my credit card company in regards to this matter.
They got me for $108.84, the gift cards I purchased all had $0 balances. Furious, I filed a claim with the website and it was immediately approved, however after waiting the appropriate amount of business days I never received my refund! I'm sure any of you who wound up here are not reading this proactively, so please do your part by spending a few minutes to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission... these $#*!s need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law but no repercussions at all will happen unless the victims step forward and make everyone aware of the crimes they are committing. Thanks!
I did purchase from ejgiftcards.com for a Saks Fifth Avenue e-gift card with balance of $900.00, and I paid $713.92 with some discount for that order, the purchase was on 11/16/2018.
When I tried to use the gift card from Saks Fifth Avenue online store (www.saksfifthavenue.com), it shows the gift card only has $1.06 at the "place order" page.
I have called Saks Fifth Avenue customer service(the HUDSON'S BAY COMPANY) for the gift card last purchase record and balance information, I got an email from the HUDSON'S BAY COMPANY that shows the last purchase record of this gift card was on 12/28/2016, no more deduction of this gift card after 12/28/2016, and the balance is $1.06.
That means I paid $713.92 to ejgiftcards.com but I got a balance of $1.06 gift card.
I tried to contact the customer service of ejgiftcards.com, I filed claim, but no luck.
Complete BS bought two home goods gift cards from them both of them being empty and they told me it would take 14 to 21 business days to get my refund filing dispute with my bank as we speak!
