Their procedures and follow-up are non-existent. They do not communicate with the customer if there is an issue. Instead, one has to check with them constantly by phone to learn of order status. Their website provides very little information even when you are verified as the customer. Try very hard to use a different supplier.
I have a 30 day prescription for CGM(Glucose Monitor). They cannot get me my sensors every 30 days and just make excuses They see to not care and at 3 levels repeat the "it is our process" line
Even if you use the automated order process you have to call back to make them ship
Well, their process leaves gaps. In the latest case 2+ days, where I had no sensor. The have the same dates month to month and do not even account for the fact 1/2 the months have 31 days
Find anyone else to use if you can
This company needs to be investigated/shut down. People are not getting life saving supplies. I have been on the phone nearly daily since I went on Medicare. Always a different story/excuse. I had to give one star because there is no option for zero. Contact your US senators and state government officials. This is not OKAY. Big company owned by cardinal health/CVS/Aetna - deep rat hole!
Edgepark always waits until you are out of sensors (dexcom) to send new ones leaving you without a working sensor for 1-4 days occasionally a month. The worst customer service I bet the $#*! CEO makes millions annually while stiffing customers I am looking for an alternative that can perform the simple function of getting medical supplies to their customers on time. Edgepark is PATHETIC
My mother had an oestomy for 6 years, I was very concerned about having to order her supplies through the mail, what if she ran out what would I do, but I must say that Edgepark always delivered quickly and were very helpful on anything I had trouble with. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!
If you are fortunate enough to get someone on the phone that you can understand, you can't trust what they tell you. First, you complete on line order and everything looks fine. Ship date comes and goes but no supplies. You call and find out they need updated insurance info which you provide and are told order will ship in 2-3 days. This time passes so you call again. This time they tell you that you need a new prescription and they will call your physician. Five days later still no supplies so you call them again. They will check and call you back. In meantime, you call physician only to find out that edgepark JUST CALLED THEM! So you call edgepark back and are assured they now have everything they need. Another 3 days go by with no notice of shipment and you call again and are told that no one released the order! They assure you that order will ship next day. You ask why you should trust the info THIS TIME when you have been told the same previously. Finally, after all these calls, the order shipped ( but not next day as you requested). In the meantime, having days gone by with no Dexcom sensor, back to finger sticks. I can't imagine that there entire staff is incompetent but rather their system/process needs a complete overhaul. Being a customer service person in Edgepark must really stink.
I am a type one diabetic I have a lot of damage due to diabetes I currently has been on a insulin pump and getting my supplies from Edgepark since I've been getting my supplies from Edgepark they've been giving me a headache and now after one year they do not want to give me my supplies even though they are getting paid from my insurance they even have prior authorizations for my supplies and they're still saying that they do not want to have anything to do with me that is like so terrible so rude it's like they're picking and choosing who they want to ship out supplies to that is so terrible I am taking them to claims if anybody has this problem you guys should definitely contact your insurance and claim Edgepark that's not fair what they're doing somebody can get very ill without insulin pump supplies they obviously don't want to do their jobs correct but they want to get paid it does not make any sense this is stupid and it's sickening they are peoples life at stake learn how to do your guises job and take it more serious I don't even want to give them one star but in order to share my review that's requested They discussed me
I have tried on several occasions to get my T1d supplies with much difficulty. Hospitalized 3 times because of this. I strongly advise to go elsewhere…anywhere
Edgepark used to be a great place to order my diabetes supplies. I was enrolled in the continuous care program so didn't need to remember to order my supplies. HOWEVER, my transmitter was dropped from the continuous care system. I didn't realize I needed to order another one until my receiver notified me. At that point, I only had a few days left on the current one.
My current order for sensors has been a disaster. I received an email asking that I confirm the order. I did. Two days later, I received another email asking that I confirm the order. I did. Two days later, I logged onto my account to check the progress. It still showed that it needed to be confirmed but wouldn't allow me to do so. I called and the agent confirmed it for me. The ship date was changed from 3/25 to 3/29. When I didn't receive an email that the order had been shipped, I logged on to see what was happening. The order was listed as in progress. I called Edgepark again. After three calls, they told me that they needed clinical notes from my doctor. Then they told me that they had received them but hadn't reviewed them yet. After I was transferred again, I was told that they needed more details from my doctor.
I am now out of sensors for my Dexcom because Edgepark can't figure out its own system.
This had been a great place, but I no longer trust them to complete orders for me.
I definitely do not recommend them.
I have been using Edgepark for more than a year to order Dexcom G6 sensors and transmitters for my two daughters, but recently I decided to stop doing business with them due to several issues that have made my experience more of a hassle than a convenience.
Firstly, I was required to provide a credit card for Edgepark to keep on record to charge my orders. Although this is not a major concern in itself, it does add a level of uncertainty to the purchasing process. Edgepark fails to provide clear information about the order value at the time of purchase, leaving customers in the dark about the amount they will be charged.
The main problem, however, lies in their frequent calculation errors and incorrect charges. It is disconcerting to see that a company providing essential medical supplies for patients is so careless when it comes to billing. I have discovered multiple instances where they charged the wrong amount to my credit card on file. To make matters worse, Edgepark does not send you any record of these charges, making it difficult to identify and address these errors unless you are diligently checking your credit card statements.
The last straw came when Edgepark charged the full amount of an order to my credit card and then billed my insurance as well. However, this was far from the first or second time I had to contact them to correct their mistakes. It is incredibly frustrating to have to deal with such recurrent incompetence, not only from their employees but also from their supervisors.
Overall, my experience with Edgepark has been incredibly disappointing and frustrating. Their lack of transparency in billing, frequent calculation errors, and overall incompetence have made me decide to move away from their services. I cannot recommend Edgepark to others, especially when there are alternative suppliers in the market who offer reliable and transparent services.
Ordered dexcom g6 supplies on Feb 8, have not recieved to date March20. Doctor and insurance have provided them with all required info. They do not take your disease/illness seriously. Very poor medical supply company. Could not get ahold of anyone higher up than a supervisor of order takers.
I am a 10-year colon cancer survivor. Edgepark is not. My medicare insurance AARP Healthcare issued new ID cards. Edgepark apparently decided that this meant that my insurance was terminated. (after 10 years). It has not and was not terminated. I will need these supplies for the rest of my life. It is now March 17th. I have been waiting for the delivery of my monthly order of ostomy supplies since February 3rd. Multiple telephone calls to Edgepark "customer care" from me and my insurance company have not resolved the issue. I have had numerous "issues" with order processing and customer care since the Cardinal takeover. I am looking for a new supplier.
They are terrible. Been trying to fill pump supply order for a month. Every time it is different story. You would think, with deal with diabetes and hold someone life in your hands, you would do you job.
What I would like is someone from Edgepark to stay up all night worried about child's sugar levels
My story is the same as every other horror story. No one cares. All they do is make unrelated excuses. The supplies are sent a month after you need them even when you call 2 weeks early. No one will expedite the order even after you are crying. I literally had to order from Amazon and pay for it. This is not a one time complaint, it continues to happen.
For two years now I have had to call to expedite orders. Seems like every other time I order I have to call the company because of delays. One time they need Rx, next verify insurance (hasn't changed it 8 years). Then if I order to anticipate delay I'm told to only order when down to 1 week supply.
Worst company I've ever dealt with.
Very bad service, do not order from them if you have a choice. I ordered mine on Jan 3, with a baby due date of Jan 26 (by the way, they don't let you order earlier than 30 days before due date). On Jan 23, the order is still being processed, not shipped. I called many times, finally found out they are waiting on insurance authorization, which my insurance has clearly said no prior authorization is required, and insurance stated that they faxed Edgepark to let them know no prior authorization is required, but yet, Edgepark wants me to get the authorization from my insurance. After so many calls with both insurance and Edgepark, I am exhausted and super dissatisfied with Edgepark, now I don't have time to switch to another vendor before baby gets here, and I am here without a breastpump thanks to Edgepark.
The rudest people are manning their phones. What kind of business lets their employees treat clients this way?! Fix your policies and get your customer service team some training!
When you're having a baby and are offered pumps through insurance. So I decided to use Edgepark and picked a decently priced pump. $120 in store. Well I received my pump quickly. A month later I was sent a $300 bill. $400 total -$100 they took from insurance. I called to ask why I was being charged a total of $400 for a pump that is only $120 in stores? Their ridiculous answer was, they charge what the manufacturer charges them. The audacity. After having a child the last thing you want is to be hustled for a breast pump when they make it seem like they are a helpful company. DO NOT USE EDGEPARK.
Edgepark has the worst service; the call center is primarily located overseas (the Philippines) frankly that isn't the issue the issue is that they can't get an order right. I have had to use them for 8 years because of my insurance company and they text, email and call when it's time to reorder including calling my wife. Once the order is confirmed it takes three weeks to send medical supplies for a type I diabetic...waiting and unless you call to find out about your order status you are never contacted. Horrible Company...
The were contacted when I came of the hospital regarding colostomy bags. They called twice asking for payment without even telling us when to expect the order. Had to go online and redo the order and paid by credit card. Still waiting, apparently the bags are back ordered. No idea when they will arrive, had to order some from Amazon! This place was recommended by Home Health, terrible company do not use them.
