They seem to be running a scam (at least in the Canary Islands, where I made a booking) where they let you make a booking with a Debit card, but will refuse to give you a car on the day you attempt to get it if you don't provide a Credit card (even if your card support pre-authorisation), UNLESS you buy there overpriced insurance (which in my case, I did not need since I already paid for one with EconomyBookings.com). Tripled the price of my booking, for a very beat-up car. For this price, I could have had a nice car at their competitors.

My sister and dad went to a trip in New York my sister did not have her Have a credit card in her name they refuse to rent to my my sister and father. They had to get another rental from enterprise who had no problem doing so. Also economy charge my dad's card now won't give back money. BIGGEST SCAMMERS NEVER USE

After the big disappointment with the car I booked, I informed them that I cancel the car booking due I feel that somebody was playing with me and messing up my vacation.
When they took me to the company offices have been informed that I have to pay one more insurance- guarantee (company rules) except yours < and I have to pay the amount of 1500 euro.
REALLY!
This was a big disappointment for your company, I booked a car and will pay for 2 different companies' insurance- guarantee?
They told me that was written at the end of three pages they send me with small letters at the end.

The response from the company is that I read the policy so I can't have my money back.
This is a good income without doing anything.
My big mistake was that I did not call the police!
From now on I will stay away from this company, this was a good lesson for me.

We reserved a car in Rome. The rental desk was not close to the airport, it is not well indicate either. By the time we found it, it was just past 23:00 when the desk was due to shut and we found the office empty. We had to take a taxi to our hotel and returned early the next morning, only to found they gave our car away to someone else. Couldn't get anyone on the phone to help throughout this process. I've sent several emails and never got a reply. The rental wasn't cheap, either. Other rental desks stayed open until midnight, or until the last customers picked up their car. That is the kind of service I'd expect from an international company. Felt like we'd been scammed, I'd never use this firm again.

I've just read all the bad reviews and shocked ( not saying they didn't happen) but couldn't be further than the truth for me, the guy was polite and helpful, took me to my car straight away no waiting around. The Car I was given, I thought was nicer than the Ford I was picking up so perfect, at no extra cost and already value for money! Made sure I took my own pictures of the car before hand, signed the documents and off I went! Exactly the same on the way back! Been to Albania a lot and never used this company, but this will be my go too from now on!

Have gotten rental vehicles from Economy Booking numerous times.
Economy Booking had the best prices and the lowest insurance rates.
We received a vehicle upgrade.
The check in and return was effortless.
Will definitely use Economy Booking for our future auto rentals.
Some reviewers give Economy Booking a poor review... follow the rules (like any auto agency agreement) and there will not be an issue.

These are scammers. They charged me the full amount, and I was denied a car rental in Italy. The pretext for this was the absence of an "international driving permit", which was the first time I was being asked while renting a car anywhere around the world. Economybookings.com will sell you cheaper car rental and you risk of not getting your car at all. Beware!

CAR DOES NOT GO TOD DIFFERENT ISLANDS WAS BAD INFORMATION HAD TO CANCEL THE CAR THERE FOR HAD TO GIVE MY DEPOSIT BACK

On 8/11/2022, due to the bad weather, the airline cancelled the flight. We contacted the economy booking to cancel the car rental. But they refuse to allow us to cancel the car rental and even refuse allow us to pick up the class one day later.
Very bad experience.

The reservations were accurate, rates were what I required, low. Placing the reservations was simple and the communications were what I required. I would recommend their service to others and definitely use them in the future.

I'd not recommend this website, charges looks cheaper, but you end up paying more on pick up (don't believe full coverage, it's the basic you'll get anyway directly from the car company)

Lots of negative reviews so I made the reservation and then called Thrifty to confirm. They said I had a valid reservation and there was no issue picking up the car at Thrifty.

I was charged exactly what I expected.

When arriving from my flight the renral car place I booked through them were out of vehicles. So the rental car place canceled my reservation with no problem. I send Economy bookings an email about it so they could refund my money and all I get is the same email return that they cannot find my reservation. I sent a copy of my plane ticket and reservation with the booking number so no idea how they can't. I book from this place regularly but will not anymore as I see how they treat a valued customer. I suggest not renting from them as if you have a problem you won't get a fix to it. It's been over a month and they will not even call me when I've sent my number to talk to a real person. Obviously they don't care and just want your money.

We were late for picking up the car and we were in contact with both EconomyBookings and the actual rental company that we are going to be late. Despite all of this, when we arrived, the actual rental company refused to give us a car since they claimed the EconomyBookings CANCELED the booking, WITHOUT our consent! Not only that, we did not receive any refund! Tried to contact the company, but no reply.

The whole process from booking online through to the collect and then drop off of the car was very efficient and stress free.
Car model was equal to what we had booked and we had a free choice of 7 cars to pick from when collecting.
Alamo team from start to finish were very professional and extremely helpful.
Would certainly use again.
