To pay several hundred dollars for a book they cannot even invest in a cover for is ridiculous. Amazon and the on campus bookstore had little stock and higher prices.

I sent 3 books in the same package to this awful company in June 2022. First, they said that they had to verify with the publisher that the books were authentic. It took over a month to be paid on 2 of the books. Then when I inquired about the third book I was told that they never received it. After explaining that all the books were in the same box, they claimed to have received the book but routed it to their specialty warehouse department for an inspection of the items quality and said that it could take 60 days longer. Today, September 7,2022, I received an email stating that the last book was an instructors edition and they weren't going to pay me for it, but I could pay their flat fee of $10 to get the book back. It was NOT an instructors copy. The book was literally just $5 and they know I won't pay $10 to get a $5 book returned! I always stamp my books before sending them to these companies to verify that it is the same book I mailed to them. I asked for a picture of the instructors book along with a picture of the stamp in back... crickets. Use one of the other buyback companies. I suspect the high rating this company has is from FAKE reviews.

The overall experience was very good. The book I received has a damaged binding, I'm hoping that I don't receive damage charges.

Answer: Ecampus.com does not honor their payout times. I've been waiting 8 weeks now and still have not received payment. They also do not honor the method of payment you choose. I chose direct deposit to ensure fast delivery of the payment. They instead have decided to mail me a check, which I still have not received. Do not sell your used textbooks to ecampus.com if you actually want to receive reimbursement for them.
