Ebuyer.com closed my account without telling me because I opened a PayPal dispute for items they CONFIRMED that I didn't receive. This is their way of trying to prevent me from getting the proof of them admitting this and promising me a refund. Nearly £200 and they confirmed that the item was not delivered to me via their GPS tracking of the items. I spoke back and forth with them for several weeks to try to get it resolved - they kept insisting I fill out a claim form that I never received. So I escalated to PayPal on the last day. I tried to log onto ebuyer a few days later, via an enote they sent to me... Account is inactive. Shady much?

I ordered a product a week ago with next day delivery. I have had nothing but issues in someone being able to update the status of my order. It still says estimated delivery Wednesday 6th May. I have e-mailed Ebuyer for an update and no one is able to speak to me. I have rang customer services, no problem being on hold for 35 minutes, however, the call just ended suddenly. Live chat no look either.

I have never been so frustrated dealing with a company. Yodel the courier are so unreliable and have caused major issues. The problem is that Ebuyer do not reassure you that they will solve the issue! No proactive approach to even solve the issue and that they are "waiting for Yodel". Typical passing the book trait. The lack of communication is frustrating.

Please save yourselves the stress of ordering through Ebuyer, i fall under the 2% of "customers" that will not be using Ebuyer in the future. Spend slightly more with a reliable courier and other reputable company to ensure you actually receive your delivery.

Very unpleasant experience this time. (Missing Laptop and No customer service.)

Ordered from Ebuyer a couple of years ago and had no issues. I decided to buy a new laptop via Ebuyer as it seem well priced. Ordered the laptop on the 22nd and requested next day delivery. Arrived on the 23rd and turned on the laptop.

The laptop I requested was a laptop with no OS as I know enough about laptops and computers to install OS and other software. When I turned the laptop on, it was clear it was faulty. No boot options and had some sort of lock that stopped the laptop doing anything other than BIOS settings.

I spent 3 hours on the phone going between ASUS and Ebuyer and they blamed each other for the issue. Ebuyer then took responsibility and offered a replacement once I had received a ASUS query #.

Returned the laptop on the next day via their collection service. The laptop arrived at Ebuyer according to Yodel on the 25th. I received no email or anything saying it had arrived. I emailed to ask what was happening and the reply was they had no idea where the laptop was. I sent them confirmation from yodel that it had been delivered and they replied they are investigating it.

May 4th I receive an email saying the laptop has finally been found and it will take 3 days for their team to look over the laptop.

I receive an email today (May 6th) saying I am entitled to the replacement however the laptop is now out of stock. Because I paid via PayPal I am entitled to a laptop up to the same value or less.

I have now requested a refund and will never use Ebuyer again. The whole process has been painful. I ordered the laptop next day delivery as I needed a laptop to work from home.

Stay well clear!

I ordered a gaming PC from eBuyer on 20/04/2020 for £899 on the basis that it was a pre-order, ok fair enough I had to wait a few days for it to arrive because it was a pre-order. When it finally got here it was an impressive machine, so I excitedly plugged it in and got ready to put it to use. This is where the trouble begins. I plug it in, turn it on and then a loud grinding noise starts to come from the case. This is when I realised the PC I've ordered was defective. After a bit of investigation and help from some techy people on Reddit I worked out the issue, one of the GPU fans was striking the WiFi adaptor every single time it span around which caused a constant grinding sound that was simply too loud to ignore, the thing sounded like it was about to explode! So after identifying the issue I left it for the night because it was 9pm by this point and called up customer services the next morning. The team were very helpful at this point, they opened up a return for me and the tech support guy tried to tell me something that might fix it, to move a wire out the way, but this didn't solve the issue and he told me how to send it back and receive a refund. This was on Friday and the shambles that is ebuyer doesn't open on weekends so I had to wait until Monday until I could send it back via DPD. That went fine and the chap on the phone said I'd have my money by Friday. Roll on friday - no money. I call up the hopeless robots at the call centre and after waiting for 30 minutes I got through to Emma who was no help at all and just said "well we're having delays due to corona, you'll have to wait, we can't offer an estimate on when the money will get to you, bye!" So after that fantastic experience, which was ultimately pointless as it advanced the refund process no further, it was once again the weekend and ebuyer were not open. Fast forward to today, Monday the 4th of may 2020 and I've just got off the phone with ebuyer who have given me the same old drivel "sorry it's delayed because of Corona, we don't offer compensation, we can't offer an estimate to when your money will be in your account, deal with it, bye!"
Utterly hopeless team, couldn't wish bankruptcy on a nicer bunch of cretins. When will I receive my £900 back? Who knows!

BUYER BEWARE -- DO NOT BUY FROM EBUYER UK

I bought a laptop from them on next day before their cut off this is where the issues started, arrived 3 days later, given the circumstances, okay fine. I did get a refund for the postage after calling them which took over 70 minutes to get through.

The Laptop arrives which cost £2583. 95 and is broken, doesn't charge, I try to call them, no avail waiting to get through to support, I decide to try the manufacturer "Razer" was through to a tech within 3 minutes on live chat, they tell me its broke, apologise and tell me to send it back to the retailer for a refund or exchange, since Ebuyer have no stock I opt for a refund, I package it up and send i back via their couriers the next day, They receive it back to their stock as evidenced by a call to them this time a 43 minute wait only for the call to be answered by someone who couldn't care less because well clearly they though their place should have been closed because of Covid 19 Pandemic.

So far I am still waiting for my refund, so I go to paypal and start a claim there, it's incredible ebuyer are straight on that and responding, I have given them till tomorrow to give me a refund else I'll be escalating it to a full claim with paypal to get my money back from them.

Their website says they're fully operational, but it would seem its a total lie, I have spent a lot of money with ebuyer over the years but this will be the last time they get a hold of my money it's out and out theft in my eyes. Not a good word will pass my lips of this company if any of my colleagues ask about buying any new tech, I'd rather send them to the other high street tech store and that is saying something as they're just as bad.

This company's trading practices must be the most negligent I have ever encountered.

What could easily have been resolved instantly, still continues after 5 weeks of drawn out emails.

I ordered and purchased a laptop while it was on offer a month ago. Three days later I received an email telling me the order was cancelled - no reason given.

Through my persistent enquiries I was eventually told that an admin error had cancelled my order but that it could now be re-ordered without any further issues.

Although the price had since increased, after much negotiation it was agreed that as the error was theirs my original order price would be honoured.

I re-ordered, but this time the wrong laptop was sent to me which had a downgraded processor.

Upon further enquiries I was told that as my order was currently not in stock this was the closest that they had - unbelievable!
So basically, Ebuyer sent me a downgraded laptop without any notification to me and without my prior knowledge or consent - this in itself should be reported to TSO.

Five weeks later
I am still waiting for my original order to be fulfilled - preferably not with a downgraded alternative!
I also still have the wrong laptop boxed up and waiting to be returned.

I have confirmed that I am happy to wait for my original order to come back into stock as it was purchased at a discounted price.
But now bizzarely, I have been told by the latest advisor dealing with this that the original price that I paid may no longer be honoured - even though this has already been previously agreed and even though my order still remains outstanding!

Needless to say it has become necessary to seek independent advice - and in three weeks time if still unresolved, it can go straight to the Retail Ombudsman.

Do yourself a favour folks and buy elsewhere!

I made an order for £350 but didn't receive an order confirmation but saw the money was taken out of account.
I contracted customer services who told me to wait an hour. Several hours later and still no confirmation so I wnt back to them only be told the order didn't go through and they'd pass on the issue to payments. In the meantime the product was now out of stock and there was nothing they could do.

The whole reason people choose (and pay for) next day delivery is because we need something fast. This is the second time this year I've ordered next day delivery for some important equipment from ebuyer and nothing has turned up. There's no information on the website about my order. I've called customer services 3 times, emailed kat@ and in 24 hours the only information I've been told is that 'they have asked the warehouse'. Now they are closed (why would a retailer like this be closed on a Saturday?). Looking around the web this is a fundamental problem with Ebuyer now, not related to the current situation. There are hundreds of companies out there that can deliver this stuff quickly with great customer service and web tracking. Stick to Amazon Prime if you need something quickly.

Went through checkout for a GPU, got to the payment page and paid for it. Then the site glitched, they took the money from my account, then said there was an error and didn't place the order.

Now they have £300 of my money, and I don't even have a receipt.

Awful way to do business.

After pretty poor telephone communication, I paid for a rush order to be delivered Sat.
EBuyer business sent me a quote including the additional premium delivery cost and the bill was paid.
Imagine my annoyance when the goods didn't arrive!
We made several attempts to call, only to be told they don't deliver on a weekend to businesses!
Their loss. We won't be using them again as they are unreliable and service is poor.

Broken Products

I purchased 2 laptops for my elderly mother and young nephew to use to be able to keep in touch with me as I don't live in the country. I only recently found out that one is faulty and the other does not work at all. When I contacted them I was palmed off to the manufacturer because they only offer a 30 warranty. What a cop out, I had used the service a lot when I lived in the UK and they had been great but this is ludicrous, a 30 day warranty is a piss take for a re-seller.

Ebuyer have put me through hell this week. I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased from them. I made an order for a TV over a week ago, they charged my account and I have been waiting for delivery since. The delivery was due on 12th Feb and yet the status on the account still indicated "awaiting shipment" so I called them and spoke to Tilly from customer service. She said she will look into this and get back to me in a few hours. 6 hours later I called again as I had not heard anything and Tilly answers the phone again. She said she will chase the matter and get back to me. She promised me she will get back to me before the end of her shift at 6pm. Again nothing from Tilly. I called again at 6:15pm. This time Emma answers and tells me she can't do anything as the notes are in Tilly's email and she doesn't have access. She just wanted me off the phone telling me she has emailed Tilly and she will be in contact in the morning when she is back in. 10am today I called again and this time spoke with Hannah who was happy to update me and to tell me the item is now out of stock as if nothing has happened. I asked to be put through to a supervisor and the supervisor was even worse than her staff. "Emily" all she would say is sorry and that she would refund me in full. I can't believe this company is allowed to treat people like this. They have had my money over 8 days now and are not willing to do anything about it. Disgusting customer service and a horrible company. I will be writing to watchdog UK to look into this company.

I initially ordered a new pc and some parts on 29/11/2019 which arrived the next day. However, the pc would not turn on. So after calling them they said they would email call or email me about how to diagnose/fix it. After 3 days they got back to me and said that it needed returned and that it would be returned in 3-5 days. I received my second pc after 15 days of waiting. When I unpacked it it was also faulty and had to go through the same process to get it returned. It is now 22/1/2020 and I have still not received a working product.

The issue that I have experienced was: I placed an order on eBay on the 08 Jan, 2020 for a laptop.
I used my eBay £100 voucher to place the order.
The item was to be delivered on the 13th Jan, so I took day off work to take delivery. I got a email saying that the order was cancelled and I was refunded.
When I emailed back I got a reply saying the item was discontinued by Lenovo. I contacted Lenovo and they have confirmed that the Lenovo laptop the model I ordered is not discontinued.
To add to the issue Ebuyer has put the item back on sale at a higher price on eBay and on their own website.

I took time off work for delivery as well as used my £100 voucher on Ebay which is no longer valid so I have lost this. I also ordered other accessories for the laptop which are all wasted as I have not received my laptop.

I have contacted Ebuyer to resolve the issue but they refuse to honor the order stating that they had stock issues even though they are still selling the laptop

UPDATE: In response to Kat's message below I have already messaged you however you have not offered any resolution to the issue.

UPDATE2: Still no resolution to the issue after 1 year!

EBuyer sells items not in stock. I ordered an item over a hundred pounds and as soon as the order was placed online their system said 'out of stock' and then refused to let me cancel the order. It took almost a month to get my money back. PayPal escalation, the works. Horrible horrible experience. Awful company and the main problem is the lazy customer services who just don't want to do any work. All their staff were the same but Emma Bentley was particularly obtuse.

If I could give this company no stars I would. The delivery is hopeless, was told 2 different delivery times, was told the item could be delivered up to 9 pm. Waited in all day and evening. Called customer service and was told by Emma they couldn't help. I hope they record the call for staff training. There are many companies out there sell the same items at the same prices so please avoid this one if you want a nice transaction.

Sold us a NAS drive that was only suitable for Windows 7 computers, an operating system that has been obsolete for nearly half a decade. Requested 3 callbacks, which never happened, and denied any responsibility for it. We've spent a lot of money recently with them, and will now be finding another supplier, all for the sake of a £130 NAS drive, which we would've replaced with another from them anyway. It seems they wish to cut their nose off, just to spite their face. Very disappointing.

Missing hard drive in PC
December 27, 2019

They were not interested in providing the missing 1TB hard drive, an essential item, that should have been in the case and the PC arrived with ZERO packaging materials internally or externally. It was an amazement that the thing actually worked and wasn't damaged during delivery. Purchase from them at you peril as they refuse to honour what you have paid for when they have messed up. I have been using them for 15 years, can no longer trust them...
