Ebonyline is one of the online wig sites that I order from frequently. My only complaint is that when an item is NOT available or in stock, the customer should not be able to select that item when attempting to place an order. Twice this happened to me where I ordered an item that was unavailable. HOWEVER, I received an email from customer support immediately and was offered several options to resolve the issue; including a free complimentary item for any inconvenience. Additionally, even when my order dropped below the amount required to receive the $4.99 Flat Shipping Rate, they still honored that price. I was even emailed two additional times by customer svc rep, Winnah #EBO******* (LOVE YOU WINNAH!), who informed me that I can always email them or call ahead of time to check their inventory and see if what I want is available. To me, it doesn't get any better than that.
I hesitated to write this review. I feel that as consumers our instinct is to report situations in which we've been wronged, and rarely offer praise as quickly. I have ordered from Ebonyline many times before, and while they're slower to ship than most retailers, they're usually a little cheaper. I ordered 2 wigs from them. They followed up to let me know that one was not in stock, though it was listed as such on the website, and asked if I wanted the wig in a different color. I ordered that particular wig in a very specific color, so replacing it with a black or brown wig would've defeated the purpose, so I ended up ordering elsewhere. I asked them to replace my wigs with two wigs that should've added up to the same price as the original wig. One of the wigs turned out to be a specialty color, so there was an upcharge and a remaining balance that I paid reluctantly. I felt that as the customer I shouldn't have paid for their mistake, but I did. I had to follow up on my shipping information as they'd not provided an update. Once the wigs finally arrived, the order was wrong. I have been going back and forth with them for the better part of a month and their idea of resolution was to refund the purchase, have me return the wig and then reorder the wig I originally wanted. I never complain for the sake of getting things for free, so I wasn't looking for a handout, but in my experience, when companies have made a mistake they go out of their way to appease the customer. Sadly, that experience has soured my opinion of them and I will never be using them again.
Terrible customer service. They lie and will not ship your items out in a timely manner. Every time I called inquiring about my items I was told they just came in this morning and will be shipped out this evening. Almost a month later and I still have not received my hair.
Buyer beware! This company consumer service is a rip off. I placed my order, since I didn't receive a confirmation that the order has been processed I decided I would change the order. It was a couple of days since I placed the order, and the order wasn't processed. I sent the email, I eventually received a response but it was Sales indicating that the order was processed and ready for shipping. So I sent several emails for confirmation of the change of order. I received no indication, after sometime I received an email from their processing department that order was placed. I attempted to get confirmation that the order was updated. After a long and long unnecessary email back and forth and representative confirmed with me that the order was changed. I received the order only to find out that the order was not updated. I reached out, so I can return the order. I paid for my return of $14.65. The refunded an amount much lower than what I ordered. The amazing part of the deduction was that I paid $4.99 shipping in the beginning only to find out that because I returned the order they charged me again $4.99 and an additional $4.99 shipping return. This does not include restocking fee. I was to continue to pressure them for a breakdown. I had to take the loss but will never to business with them again. I'm no longer a customer and will gladly take my business away from them. Please beware!
Untrustworthy Company. Return policy is 20% restocking fee for items under $50 but ended up up deducting 50% of my refund. I sent them three emails and left multiple messages asking them to clarify my refund but never got a response. Considering I operate my own online business, this is horrible way to deal with customer issues by just ignoring. Instead, this is how you loose repeat business. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Ordered two full pack weave sets from Ebonyonline on Tuesday. Paid for 2 day UPS air shipping thinking the package will arrive by Thursday and Friday at the lastest. Today is Saturday and I have not recieved my package nor did I ever get a tracking number like they said I would after ordering. I am so irritated because I had to cancel my hair appointment today because of the delay. After watching a couple of Youtube videos and reading other reviews I am convinced that I have been scammed. I emailed Ebonyonline for a refund and I am calling them first thing Monday morning. This company is straight bull$#*!.
WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. They sent me the WRONG unit and refused to comp for the unit. I waited over two weeks for the unit to be sent from the manufacturer only to receive the WRONG unit and WRONG color. The reps refused to do anything and on top of that were so RUDE! I a now stuck with a unit that I can't wear as the color is terrible. The rep then proceeded to tell me that i should know that they don't do returns just like any other beauty store. Are you kidding? You send the wrong unit and then refuse to correct it AFTER i waited for 2 weeks. NEVER ORDERING FROM THIS GHETTO PLACE AGAIN!
I ordered something for my upcoming vacation from here, not only did shipping take excessively long, when it arrived the product was not what I ordered. I received it on Friday and called them when they opened on Monday. I waited on hold for 2 hours 53 minutes before the phone " hung up". This was my first and last purchase with this "company".
You've just gotta love the Flemmie! The delicate highlights in the dark brown section coupled with the ombre color gradation in the back is an irresistibly gorgeous combination! This wig is also lightweigt and moderately-sized. Additonally, the customer service was superb! When I called in, Desiree' went above and beyond to answer my questions and meet my needs, even oferring an additional discount. And the wigs I ordered got to me in South Korea in a little less than a week!
Please DO NOT order from them ever! If u see any positive review it is likely one of the ebony people who posted it to make their website have some stars. I ordered 4 wigs from this company. First off the wigs look nothing like the pictures on the website so don't waste your hard earned money. Secondly I purchased item $99 in total waited from August 16th and they did not have the wigs in stock so I told them to give my money back and they won't return my emails. Even when the guy returned my email he kept telling me to choose a different color for the wigs. I told him I just needed my money back and he won't refund me. Next thing I know; today August 31st I received a box and the wigs look nothing like the pictures. What a waste of money. Also they don't make them to fit your head and I have a tiny head but the wigs were still tight. These people only care about taking your money not about whether u like their products or not
Thirdly the customer service is extremely rude and don't greet u appropriately, they actually kept me on the phone for more than an hour and I had to drop and call again and they hung up my call. When I called the 3rd time the lady told me I will be responsible for shipment and restocking fees so if your wig is $24.99 then 20% of that goes to restocking fees. Not to mention what u will need to pay to ship it back to them. If you know what's good for you don't order from here
I worked with Desiree on three orders that I had, she was extremely helpful very pleasant to speak with and really knew the product line. I have purchased and returned wigs from other companies via the web and by far Ebonyline is the best and has he best quality human hair wigs. Their customer service is excellent! I will continue to order from Ebonyline for quality and service all around. ND

Placed order on August 8th still haven't received order. This company doesn't respond to emails, or by phone been on hold for a while. I will never order here again. Don't have to slap me twice...
The customer service rep Desiree made my experience less stressful. She was extremely helpful and professional and made my experience great. She waa very attentive to my every need. Desiree is definitely a gem to the ebony line team.

I ordered a product and paid extra for 2 day shipping. They emailed 2 days later that it was out of stock. So though I was unhappy they took so long to notify me, I decided Id wait for the new shipment but wanted to change my shipping now that I had to wait since 2 days had already passed and they were just now telling me they didnt have it all of a sudden.
I replied the same day that I wanted to change my shipping to standard when They asked if I wanted to change shipping. They replied asking about my address. I responded its the same but I want Standard shipping and they ignored me.
Then when I asked about returning my shipping money since I had to wait, they tried to blame me and say I should have responded.
So I had to send them the screenshots of my response and our conversation on the same day that they emailed me to prove their statement was totally incorrect. They have no respect for customers and do not deserve your hard earned money!
They are rude!

I'm so happy I found this site bc I've been searching for affordable products for my natural hair. The fact that the customer service is above par makes this find that much sweeter! I called to ask about shipping and spoke with Desiree who was not only super helpful and kind but she was very knowledgeable and clued me in on several much needed daily routine hair care products! I'm super thankful bc not only are the prices unbeatable but the fact that I can speak with a live person and get help finding what will work for my hair is hands down a blessing! Thank you Desiree!
Sadly I read the reviews of this site AFTER I ordered. I needed my order in time for my birthday and school so I ordered it almost two weeks early. I placed my order early Wednesday and still heard nothing by Friday. I contacted them and was finally told TWO DAYS LATER that one of my items was sold out so my order was delayed. I selected another item in order to have it shipped and still there was nothing after requesting to just receive another item. Some people have a decent experience with this company but after today, they are trash to me. Will NEVER try them again. Be careful. Your order could "be delayed" or whatever other crap excuse they have.
