Failure to deliver
June 26, 2020

I have waited for 32 minutes on the phone and when I get closer than 3rd waiting I got cut off. I have sent 2 e mails complaining of non- delivery with no response. This company is a disgrace and should be banned from trading.

Still no masks!
June 18, 2020

Further to my previous post the masks I ordered on May 8th have still not arrived by today June 18th. But of course the money has been taken from my account! As it is not possible to actually talk to anyone from this dishonest company I intend to take my case to Trading Standards if items have not arrived within the next 5 days.

Don`t use this company!
June 18, 2020

What appalling service. They say they don`t take payment until the order is despatched but they took it immediately and a fortnight later I`m still waiting.
Just tried to contact Customer Services, told I was number 80 in the queue, no reply to my previous E-mails, what a waste of time and money.

Non Delivery of goods
June 18, 2020

Placed our order over three weeks ago for 5 x bottles of SurSol sanitizer. After numerous emails, finally receive a reply stating my order was shipped. BUT till now 18/06/2020 nothing has arrived. Easylife has given a Hermes tracking number which is not correct.
This business is a shambles, do not recommend using them

Impossible to contact with problems
June 12, 2020

I ordered several items including a pair of plastic car anti dazzle visors. The total order arrived in one fully packed flimsy bag and the visors in their box had been bent and both were cracked. I have tried contacting Easylife to obtain a replacement. On two occasions all lines were busy, on one occasion I was told there was a wait of 40 minutes but the call timed out before this, On the last occasion I was 100th in the queue with an estimated wait time of 90 minutes. I did not wait, my time is worth more than the 90 minute wait. I then emailed them on their service email address, after 2 weeks I have yet to have the courtesy of a reply. The products may seem to be good value, but heaven help you if you want any sort of after sales service They have not the slightest concept of customer service

Incompetent Staff
June 11, 2020

I wish I read these reviews earlier. I ordered some radiator shelves for my son which arrived ok in parts. I liked the shelves very much and ordered some for myself. Their website glitched when I put in my address and it came up wrong after I made the payment. I emailed them immediately and telephoned next day, I finally got through and spoke to Nadil he said he amended it and it was all ok. Well he didn't as I got an email to say part order had been despatched and the address had not been amended. I telephoned again and was 160 in the queue and waited 40 minutes before I spoke to Ali he said his computer had frozen (yeah right) but he put me through to Tony, he seemed to know what he was talking about and said he amended it - LIAR - not amended as Hermes sent me an email with it exactly the same luckily I was able to amend through them. That was part of the order now I am trying to do the same with the second part but they've now put a message in that their calls are far too numerous to try again later - from dialling dead on 9am on the dot and trying many times throughout the day I don't think so. Unfortunately, I got a miss call after 8pm from a lady called Alix (number withheld) with strong accent asking me to call back immediately on the customer service number only to find they're closed! I've been trying since and emailing to no avail. They've taken my money - I've paid with PayPal and asking them to raise a case. Only pay with PayPal with this lot as they sound like a right bunch of scammers.

Unauthorized Withdrawal
June 11, 2020

My mother who is in her late seventies shopped with this company on and off over a period of time. Whilst she had no complaint about anything she ordered, she noticed in her April 2020 bank statement that Easylife had taken £69.95 from her Account. Knowing she did not order anything over this time she rang to find out what this payment was for. After over three phone calls lasting approx 1 and a half hours she was told the money was taken out for a subscription of some sort of a card for discounts with this company. My mother for her age is very astute and never signs up to any of these so called subscriptions. She asked where did they get authorization to take money from her Account and was not given an answer. She asked for what ever this subscription was for was to be cancelled and money refunded into her Account. She was told the money would be refunded within 3-5 working days. Two weeks later still no refund. I then rang them and again after 37 minutes waiting on a premium number went through the whole issue again with them. Again we were promised that a refund would be made within 3-5 working days. We are into June 2020 and this has been going on from March 2020 still no refund. Reading other reviews this seems to be going on with this company quite regularly, especially with the elderly where once they have your credit card details they take money out which has never been Authorized by the card holder. This Company should be ashamed of themselves for what can only be described as theft from the vunerable and elderly.

I ordered a Hair Cutting Comb from Easylife on 26 May, on 30 May I had an email from them which read "Good news your order is on its way! It's all been packed up and has left our warehouse, please see below for tracking details." The tracking number does not relate to the 2 delivery companies that Easylife use, Hermes and Royal Mail. The tracking number given to me consisted of only 4 digits. The email went on to say " Tracking may take up to 24 hours to show on the Hermes website. Some of our goods are not trackable. Rest assured this email means they are on there way to you. In some cases your order will arrive via Royal Mail and will not be trackable. Please allow up to 10 days from this email receipt to receive these". I believe Easylife warehouse is probably in China hence the huge delay in receiving the goods especially when I ordered the item they said I would receive the item on 1 June. Today as I write this it is 8 June. We're in a crisis and want our orders fulfilled with some sort of urgency. It's no good customers ordering face masks and hand sanitizer from them and receiving them when the pandemic is over. I doubt if Easylife ever read the scathing reviews otherwise they may act a little differently towards their customers. In conclusion I did ring Easylife and got a recorded message. The first thing the message said was there are delays because of Covid 19 and if I would like to speak to an agent I was 106 in the queue and the average waiting time to be answered was 1 hour and 6 minutes. I have emailed them but they don't reply. Don't order from this company I have found the same product on Amazon £2 cheaper and much cheaper post

Scummy exploiters of the Aged
May 19, 2020

My relative, in his nineties, ordered an item from their catalogue and paid using his debit card.
EasyLife then started debiting his card for unauthorised amounts (which can appear on the bank statement under differing company names).
EasyLife posted my relative a "contract" claiming he had agreed to purchase other services (he hadn't), and that he was legally bound to make continuing payments if he failed to cancel within a fourteen day "cooling-off" period. The date of the alleged agreement was, of course, more than fourteen days earlier than the date the "agreement" was posted to my relative.
The only way forward was to involve the bank.
Do NOT give ANY of your personal details to these scammers!
What kind of sleazy low-lives consider it acceptable to make their money by preying on the elderly?

Easylife scam. Pensioners be careful
May 13, 2020

I am 81 years of age so thought that easylife was for elderly people, after making a small purchase I received a telephone call from some one who talked so fast I couldn't understand what he was on about. However when checking my bank account easylife had withdrawn £19.99 without my consent. I did email easylife with a request to explain. 11 days later had an email reply just to say that the £19.99 is the cost of Easylife Puzzlebooks.( Never heard of them had no correspondence from them)I telephoned customer services the answerphone told me I was No 69 in the queue and to expect a 30mins delay. Rang again couple days later was told I was 81st in the queue and the wait would be 80 mins. Not a company to deal with.

Easylife (Rubbish)
April 29, 2020

I purchased 4 packs of Cobbled Stone Edgings and have never encountered such rubbish in my life as I broke the first three trying to put them in I abandoned the exercise and sent 3 packs back and I am awaiting a refund but after reading all these reviews I am not holding my breath on an early response.
Then I get a call from man who I found ``difficult to understand`` selling membership to Easylife Motor Club and after saying send me the information I and I will look at it but got a membership number letter and without going into a lot of detail within an hour I rang and cancelled this then posted the letter back cancelling it and emailed them cancelling it so I sincerely hope they get the message and don`t try to take any money off my card.

THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY
April 13, 2020

This company are scammers. Don't take my word for it, just do your own Google search. They have a front as a legitimate catalogue company, and they then bombard customers with cold calls for a wide variety of fake products and services. As soon as you give them your credit card details They will take a series of differing amounts of money over a period of time using a number of different company names, hoping that you don't notice them. This is how they make their money by targeting elderly and vulnerable customers.
I urge you strongly not to use this company, and too regularly check your bank statements if you already have. They will sign you up to fake services such as Book Clubs, and Motoring Clubs once you have given them your credit card details. They have just scammed my 89 year old Mother, during the Coronavirus lockdown period when she has been confined to her home and can't get help from her family.
Just search Google, and please for your own sake beware of this company, they will con you or your elderly relatives, it's what they do, all the time and have done so for a period of years

They keep your payment details
February 28, 2020

For use when they cold call hard selling to the elderly and vulnerable, dont buy from easylife - keep your card details secure they have scammed hundreds of thousands of customers. The call center is in Cyprus and not Kent - they have special training to sell you memberships that costs the customers lots of money - this is automatically deducted from your card that remains in their system.

SCAM - LIARS
February 2, 2020

I spoke to them on behalf of my 86 year old Nan, they have signed her up for a subscription that I 100 % know she did not agree to be cause I was the one than asked them to completely cancel everything. They have continued to take a payment 2 days ago of £18. Scammers targeting elderly vulnerable people. STAY AWAY and please spread this on all social media platforms as I will be doing. The more we spread awareness the less likely people are to get scammed!

Scammers
January 29, 2020

Telephone call today from a lady with a strong accent but I could understand her. She told me she was sending me a voucher and a magazine and confirmed my name and address. She then went on to speak very very fast which I could not understand but I detected the words 14 days'. I asked her to repeat slowly so that I could understand and then she told me that I could cancel my subscription to the magazine within 14 days if I didn't want to continue. I now realised why she had spoken so fast so that I could not understand her. I told her what I thought of her and not to send me anything. Be careful of these scammers.

Brick effect garden edging.
January 16, 2020

I received my order of brick effect garden edging over six months ago and got round to putting it in the garden last week. The colour of the edging did not match the advertised colour. Tow of the boxes had broken edging and it was not easy to hammer into the ground using cardboard and a tent rubber mallet. Pieces of the plastic broke off as I hammered it into the ground. The edging would not go into the soil even though the ground is very wet.

December 15, 2019

I bought a jigsaw board for my mother, who is well into her 80s. They signed her up for a motor club that she does not want or need and she received a phone call from a woman who spoke fast and loud and she was quite upset by it. I ordered this board myself online and I can assure you I did not tick any box for a motor club. How dare they?! Very angry. Leaving this hear to help others. They should be closed down for preying on the old and vulnerable as they clearly are
