E-rewards locked me out of my account as soon as I got enough points to redeem for a gift card due to account violations they refuse to expand on. Impossible to get in contact with anyone and a complete waste of time
This company has always been horrible and I didn't think that they could get worse but they have. They award nothing for your time and get away with it. Survey did an update and if possible they award even LESS fake money! I am disgusted with them. Answer 5 questions for amazon and get real money. Erewards is making a fortune off us and giving us NOTHING. Would rate them 0 if I could!
This site is having you answer survey questions, but gives you nothing in most cases. I myself started six different surveys, then after answering 15 - 20 questions on each, it pops up and says I don't qualify for this survey. So, I answer half the question for each survey then get no points for my efforts. I had already completed my profile to 100% so they should know beforehand if I qualify or not!
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME.
I am losing interest in e-Rewards because the time taken to complete surveys is not worth the points rewarded. Initially, a 15-minute survey would earn me 4.00 points, but that decreased to 3.50 points and now it decreased to 2.50 points. Spending too much time for too few points is not the way to go
E-Rewards.
Just a waste of time. Surveys are long with few rewards. The bonus points offered (hotel points) were never awarded. Find better things to do.
On June 30,2023 I received an email with a link for my $10 Kroger eGift Card that I had redeemed earned survey points with E-Rewards for. In July I tried to use it at two different stores and both times it was denied. I went online to check the balance and found that there was never an amount added. The balance was zero with no transactions for the last 90 days. On July 31st I emailed them asking for it to be corrected. Since then I have emailed many times and have been given the run-around always saying that it's been escalated. What should have taken a few minutes to fix has now been 2 weeks with no action. They used to be reliable, but not anymore.
As with others, I have now been locked out of my account and have apparently lost 1500 dollars in survey points. This is because I refuse to take a photo of myself and also my drivers license and submit these online to a third party identity verification company. I've done these surveys for years and have no issues with text verification, 2 party identification etc, but submitting sensitive personal information to a third party company for this? Seems illegitimate and foolish. Also, this change was enacted with no notification to panel members, which is apparently allowed according to their fine print. Something smells fishy.
Received Red Lobster email making it sound like I was invited to take RL surveys for RL gift cards. I sign up and its suddenly E-Rewards! It was NEVER along the way stated I was registering with them! It even showed my first survey would qualify me for a $10 RL gift card. I take the survey anyway and after 15 minutes of numerous pages of questions am asked if I want to answers more questions, taking 7 minutes. I click YES, then am suddenly taken to a page stating I dont qualify for the survey! What the heck was I just taking then! This is crazy bogus, deceptive and phishing for info under the guise of survey rewards! Even more shameful is the initial email clearly from RL! I will be contacting RL corporate. I unsubscribed from E-Rewards only to immedately receive another solicitation email. AVOID this disgusting company!
It's easy enough to pass your time filling out their surveys, but there's a catch: that "$35" you made according to their scheme is only enough to buy a $10 gift card. Interesting economics. It's fraud, and I'd love to see a class-action suit filed against these leeches.
I spend LONG PERIODS of time answering what seems to be ENTIRE surveys. THEN I'm told this survey is not a good match AND I GET NO POINTS OR REWARDS.
There are ways to decide if someone is a good match way before they do.
I've never signed up to a website review company before but in this instance I feel it's very important to write this review. I've been a member of e-Rewards for almost 15~years & have genuinely enjoyed taking the surveys and felt very well~compensated for them but everything you will now read about dramatic changes to this website within the past 5~months or so, unfortunately, really is true. E-rewards is presently taking advantage of its membership because the screeners which used to take no more than 5~minutes (and usually far less) and which you were paid. 25 cents for, now can take anywhere between 10 to 30~minutes. Essentially, you have completed a survey for the company in that time but you aren't being compensated for it because after doing what is truly a full~length survey, you receive an "I'm sorry, you don't qualify for this survey" message. What has compelled me to write this review is that this is now happening on a regular basis, which is very disrespectful to e-Rewards membership. Also between yesterday and today, e-Rewards changed from the already~lowered.20 cents for a survey you don't qualify for to stating up front that you will paid 0 cents if you don't qualify. I'm thinking that they must have felt they needed to do this to legally protect themselves because I had also noticed that sometimes I wasn't even being paid 20 cents for a survey I didn't qualify for (including "screeners" I'd spent 20-30 minutes doing.) I'm not sure who wins because I genuinely used to love participating in e-Rewards surveys but even with that being the case, after I redeem my current e-Rewards, I'm no longer going to participate because it now amounts to spending a very long time doing something for which you will receive zero compensation on at least 50% of occasions. I guess they must figure they'll receive enough participation from first~time participants. It's just amazing to me, though, that this is still a "by invitation only " survey company because why would you want to accept the invitation?
SCAM. Stop doing their surveys. When requesting your reward gift card, they charge $33.00 to credit card. Feel like an idiot. CC knew to decline the charges immediately.
This website use to be pretty good with rewarding users to take surveys. But for the last4/5 months things has gotten really bad and the companies that you take the surveys for find every excuse no to pay you after you complete the surveys. Its always an excuse "we have men the number of responeses we needed" "you do not qualify" why not ask the questions before someone spend 20/30 minutes completing a survey to get to the last screen to say that. THEY ARE THIEVES THATS WHY! THEY STEAL YOUR TIME AND REFUSE TO PAY. IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME ALMOST EVERY SURVEY LATELY AND I'VE HAD ENOUGH. DONT EASTE YOUR TIME TAKING SURVEYS YOU WONT GET PAD FOR. BIGGGGGG SCAMMMMM
I have been a member for a few years. The company has gone downhill. Taking a survey is very timely. Most surveys result in 25 cents in "e-reward points". It takes a lot of time and effort to reach enough to actually be able to redeem the points for rewards. There is a slim selection of companies/stores to redeem your points.
On the whole, it's just not worth the time and effort.
Just recently, they are requiring you upload your government identification to be "verified". So much for being anonymous.
I am very wary of sites that want my iD. There are too many phishing scams and hacking out there.
I would never upload my ID.
I have been a member of erewards a very long time! I have received great payouts in the beginning, but now they are constantly deactivating your account, holding your hard earned gift cards for exchange of a photo ID and a picture of yourself! Run! Scam. This new company is trying to steal our identity. When we signed up they did not ask for our personal information, so why now? I do not feel comfortable with sending a picture and photo ID! They also use to pay.25 if you do not qualify,, you finish a survey honestly and completely for them to not pay you at all! Scam
Took a bunch of surveys while recovering from a broken ankle and not able to do much else. I redeemed a $30 reward with no issues. But then I got to $90 and was suspended. They will not tell me why but I'm guessing I earned too much too fast. Now to "reactivate" they want a photo and real ID. Even if legitimate it is far too risky to upload pictures and driver license - especially when this personal information was not required to set up the account. If any other account of mine is locked or frozen (including financial/brokerage accounts, my online medical records, my online HR and employment records) they can be reactivated via security questions, sending verification codes, etc. Red flags all over the place.
I have been a member of the e-Rewards community for I don't even know how many YEARS now. I have NEVER had ANY issues with them, whatsoever.
After being a member for 9 years and having a diamond status they flagged my account now I can't redeem my points which I was going to use to purchase Christmas presents. Very disappointed and sad.
This site treats reviewers poorly. I have filled out 65% - 90% of various surveys and received absolutely nothing. When I complain to customer service, the issue is not resolved fairly. Avoid this site.
E-rewards does in fact provide gift cards for your opinions but they do it in the shadiest of ways. All surveys take two to three times longer than it's posted when you apply, so a survey that says takes 5 minutes takes 15 and that's if you're moving quickly. Rewards for surveys in dollars aren't actually what you get. You exchange $70 for a $25 gift card meaning you're actually getting less than half of what they're telling you you're getting per survey. Also, more often than not you take a survey that wastes 5 or 10 minutes and then don't qualify. You must wait 72 hrs to redeem after sign up and frequently the site won't let you redeem more than once per day. I actually did get several gift cards sent but I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't work. E-rewards just seems like a site that could be decent and legitimate if they would be upfront about what you're actually earning and how long it takes instead of trying to sway it to their advantage.
