The customer service esperance was really disappointing. I was left to solved the problem of exchanging a pair of sandals that I recived two for the same foot. Because I ordered online I lost time and gift bouchées that I had on my account that were not returned.
I'm sure the shoes are great but I wouldn't know because their website and customer service email/chat is so awful I didn't even get to make my purchase. It malfunctioned many times between not accepting my coupons, then not accepting my password or resets and when I emailed I got not response and their chat kept crashing. If you're planning to buy online I say look elsewhere.
I'm very disappointed to the shoe that I ordered, it didn't arrived on time and also I got the wrong size now it is useless I never used it
My experience was straight to the point excellent fast delivery. The product was packaged extremely secure and safe. I will definitely shop again and again.
I ordered 2 pairs of shoes and paid for the items with discount code eligible for order. The next day I received an email that my order was revised because they didn't have some shoes in stock. I was charged additional charge because of their mistake. I called to cancel and according to them they couldn't canceled because it was shipped but when I checked order online it states in process.
Let me first say, ai rarely write reviews; However DSW seriously needs some constructive criticism.
I had a 2hour pickup order that I needed to change the pick up location because the store it automatically sent me to (due to my phone location?) was 40 mins away in an area we never go to. I called customer service and asked to change the store pick up and explained why. They said they couldn't do that because my order was already being "shipped to the store" (mind you this is a 2-hour pick up order, so they should already have it AT THE STORE and there shouldn't be any extra shipping involved).
I said fine, can I cancel it and I can start a new pick up order at the location near my house. She said they couldn't cancel it, but they can give me a discount on my next order. I said that didn't solve my current problem of me having to drive 40 mins for an order I could get at a closer store! So wte. I said no thanks and decided to drive way out of my way for my order. I get my confirmation email a few minutes after we hung up, saying my order was ready for pick up.
So the next day my husband goes to get it and the store employee said, not only is my order not ready (after I got an email saying it is), he proceeds to tell my husband IT'S NOT AT THE STORE! After my husband speaks to a manager, they finally locate 1 shoe in the correct size in the back of the store.
Needless to say, we will not be shopping at DSW ever again. Their customer service is BEYOND disorganized, ridiculous, and very unhelpful. Common sense seems to be a lacking commodity at DSW.

Charged me for two pairs of shoes right away when ordering. Then charges me again for one pair when they shipped. I emailed about this as I was confused since I had already paid for both pairs. They told me that they charge in full for a "temporary hold" charge… other pair of shoes gets cancelled (on their own end) but no refund for them. I email again once the first pair arrives as they arrived in a torn apart box and what I believe to be a knockoff brand. These are for back to school for my children mind you. They say that I will get a refund for the one pair. Several days later, I am charged AGAIN. So now I have been charged for both pairs once, one pair twice AND I paid for both pairs initially. So really I have paid for both pairs multiple times. I am calling my bank to report them as fraudulent and block them from taking any more of my money!
Also the charges didn't make sense to the actual prices of the shoes. They call themselves shoephoria.
If I could rate this place no stars I would. It was my first time shopping here. Wanted to see what the hype was about. INSTANT REGRET. I ordered two items, and only received one. DSW VIP member huh? Anyway, I contacted customer service and some lady told me she would send me a replacement no charge. Alright, I waited and at least for a confirmation number like she said i would. That never happened. I contact them again, lady says the same thing like the other lady didn't tell me that. But she also says she will refund me $5. I check my bank acc later that night and i have a $8 charge from DSW. At this point im fed up and don't want anything from here anymore. I contact customer service again and he says my orders already processed and that he can't refund me anymore and a whole bunch of crap. Now im still waiting on these shoes and REST ASSURED I will never shop here again. DO NOT SHOP HERE! CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS AND THEYRE LIARS.
Ordered shoes in my size at the store located Ross Township, Pittsburgh, PA. The clerk got the size wrong. I called customer service to change the size before it shipped but was told it was too late and when received would need to bring them to the store for a refund. Because of the inconvenience, they gave me $10 that was to be on my account. When the shoes arrived, I took them to the store for a credit and also found another pair of shoes I wanted to purchase, but at the check out counter, the manager told me there was not $10 on my account. She expected proof in an email. Her attitude was so unprofessional, I eventually wanted only the credit and no longer wanted to purchase anything else. I told her she lost a nice sale because of her refusal to honor the $10 credit. Her reply, "I don't think it will matter much". I'll never shop there again.

My order arrived with a left 10.5, left 11 size boots, an extremely damaged box, and dirty sock. Called customer service- told me I would receive expedited shipping since I needed them by a certain day. Of course they never shipped expedited and when I called today they said they couldn't change the shipping now that it's processing. I wont be at the address when the shoes arrive. Wow.
Sounds like a great offer, until you pick out the shoes and find out they are excluded from the offer. There is an entire list of Brands 50+ that are excluded from this offer. Good luck finding a brand with a shoe you like that is

DSW sent the majority of their VIP members the promotional discount "SCHOOLDAYS" which was a $30 discount off a $49 purchase. However, in the fine print every single major brand shoe sold by DSW was disqualified from the promotion. The promotion's name itself is "SCHOOLDAYS" meaning the discount is meant for students returning to school. It's a no-brainer kids wear major brand shoes, and there wasn't a single major brand shoe that qualified for this promotion. Unless you are sending your child back to school in house slippers don't bother with DSW's latest scam. Because that's what the "SCHOOLDAYS" promotion is a scam. It's meant to get customers into the store or online only to discover you cannot purchase a single major brand shoe under the guidelines of the "SCHOOLDAYS" promotion. Jump over to Amazon or another website to purchase your kids' shoes for school or go to a brick and mortar store other than DSW where they are a little more forthright with their promotions. Overall, DSW is dishonest with its' customers.

Answer: It is an automative system that tries to calculate the hold time based on how many calls have finished vs how many calls are coming in. It is annoying to be on hold for awhile but shoephoria! Center is the only call center in the nation, with a lot more shoe lovers calling in at once than the call representatives that are available
Answer: No, once they are out of stock online and in stores it means the manufacturer completely ran out of supply. There is always a chance it will be restocked, though!
